MISSAMY says "Does he even get any milk?" about Born Free Glass Bottles 9 oz. Baby Bottle

I was so worried about the BPA affects I decided to throw out my son's Avent bottles & went to Target to purchase a few Born Free 9 oz bottles. I bought 4 and all four bottles leak! I have let others try to put them together, but same problem. Everyone that has tried it has ended up saying "these bottles suck"! They are fine as long as my son has it in his mouth it only slightly leaks every so often, but when you set the bottle down there is a gush of milk that comes out of the white ring. I have tried wiping it out before use, yet I still have the same problem. I am so ready to throw these out & go dig in the trash to find my good bottles. I was always told never to heat up bottles in the microwave which is the BPA problem, since it doesn't give a consistent temperature. My son is also able to pull the nipple out while he has the bottle since the ring does not hold the nipple in place as well as the avent bottles. —...

MISSAMY says "My son's favorite treat!" about Stonyfield Farms Organic YoBaby Yogurt

My 12 month old son loves this product as has now had it everyday for the past two months. He knows the package and immediately comes cruising to me with his mouth open. After eating he claps and says "Aaah" which is his cheering sound. The yogurt has greatly helped with clearing up his eczema which we have tried many product without any success.
— I love this product since it is organic, made from whole milk (most yogurts are lowfat or skim milk), the Raspberry Pear and Strawberry Banana are fortified with DHA that helps with brain and eye development. The Apple and Mixed Berry packs (which are my son's favorites) have added iron.
— I really like that it is available at many stores. Many Wal-Marts, Targets and most grocery stores carry Stonyfield products. I believe the price is reasonable with all the nutrients it gives to my little guy at $3.99 a six-pack. It comes in many varieties in 4 oz. containers there are...

MISSAMY says "Bedtime is better with Johnsons!" about Johnson & Johnson Bedtime Lotion

I LOVE THIS LOTION! I will also wear it and I recieve many compliments when I wear it. It moisturizes your skin better than most others. My son is now mostly using Aveno, but we still use the calming lotion at bedtime, he seems to relax with it on. The body wash also works great! Our bedtime routine is to give him a bath with Johnson's bedtime wash then we use the bedtime lotion immediately following. When we started this routine he started sleeping through the night (that same night). I don't know if it is connected, but I am not about to change anything! —...

MISSAMY says "Beauty isn't everything!" about Eddie Bauer Natural Wood High Chair

I loved the look of this high chair- it is beautiful. I would rather have wood than plastic any day- except now. I am unable to use this with my almost 6 month old. He tips to the side- I have used it once. I now feed him in his Bumbo chair. If I could do it again I would purchase a reclining high chair. My son uses this at daycare and he loves it. I sits up and watches the other children play. —...

MISSAMY says "They keep getting better!" about MacBook - Apple MacBook Pro

I have had five laptops in the last six years. I currently still have a Mac powerbook 5 years old and a new MacBook Pro. I have been very happy with Macs. I first turned to Apple since I am a elementary teacher and now am a grad student always on the computer. They run so much quicker than any PC I have used in the past. I have been extremely happy with the quality- I have never had even a problem with a virus (luckily). The Mac employees are very helpful and knowledgable with any questions I have had.
— I love how I can just hook up my camera or pop in a dvd and the computer does the rest. I do not need to ever go try to find a program.
— They only problem I have found is that older pcs cannot read my windows documents that I send. Many pc owners have had to reformat my documents to read. I can read anything that is sent to me and I have been compatable with pcs that are newer (with in the last few years).
— More than likely I will not go back to a pc since I...

MISSAMY says "Look no leaks!" about Pampers Swaddlers Diapers

This is the only diaper that is able to stop the leaks of my little guy. When he goes he really goes! I am very happy with the quality. I stock up when Target has there sales, especially the sale plus giftcards! They are more expensive than other diapers, but they are the only that have not leaked! No ruined clothing, no wet clothing, no mess. I have had diapers fall apart by the tabs when trying to open, but not Pampers! —

I LOVE PAMPERS!!!! —...

MISSAMY says "I can see you!" about Summer Infant Day & Night Handheld Color Video Monitor 1.8" Screen

My husband had to have this montior for my son to sleep in his crib instead of the cradle next to me. I really like the picture quality-the best I have seen. You can see the child breathe! The sensitivity of the audio is unbelievable, you can hear everything. I can hear what my husband is watching on tv on the otherside of the house when it is on. I am a light-sleeper so I cannot have the volume on I wake up to the lights flashing with noise.
— This monitor is a must for worrying parents like me that need to look at my sleeping child. My only advice it to know when to put it down, stop watching the precious infant and go to sleep (Which took me several nights). —...

MISSAMY says "Great Idea, but it doesn't hold up." about Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers

I was so excited to try these diapers. I want to do something to help with all diapers that I use. I used these diapers for almost two weeks, and in those two weeks my son wet through these diapers at least once every other day. Within minutes of changing his diaper his clothes would be wet from a diaper leak-it seemed to come right through the front. He ended up staining four outfits. I have never had problems with Pampers, but I want an earth-friendly product. l would be open to try any other recommended brands, but sadly these did not work for my little guy. —...

MISSAMY says "Hours of baby fun!" about Manhatten Toys Skwish

This toy is a must have for all parents of infants (1-12months). It is small and simple. My son has lots of toys yet this is his favorite. He played with one at his daycare- when we had to switch daycares I decided to buy him one. I looked online at the Manhatten toy website and went to all the local stores that carry that toy line. I found that none of the stores had the toy instock. Most had the skwish on order, but could not keep on hand.
— My son lays on his back or sits holding this for long periods of time. He is now teething and this is the only comfort! It when shaken makes a soft wood clicking sound. The orginal I like better, but I ended up with the color burst which is more of a pastal colored. I had my mother-in-law's original and the color burst next to each other, my son kept going for the original with the bright colors.
— I would highly recommend this to all, but be prepare to buy online. It is a favorite of babys and young children. —...

MISSAMY says "My son's favorite thing!" about Fisher Price Baby Papasan Cradle Swing

The fisher price swing is beautiful. My son has been blessed with 3 swings. One at each grandparent's house and one at home. We have two of the F.P. Baby Papsan Cradle Swings identical and one of the older F.P. cradel swing models with the Aquarium. They are easy to place a baby in from newborn to 5 month old (the age of my son). I thought that he would only be in this swing as a newborn, but 5 months later he loves to take his morning nap in it. He loves looking at himself in the mirror which is on the underside. It plays lovely songs and nature sounds. I love how the cradle lies down instead of sitting up for the baby- my son is still very comfortable in it. —...

MISSAMY says "My baby's only bottle." about Avent Baby Bottles

These a the only bottles my son has ever accepted. He loves the bottles. The bottle is very easy to clean with the bottle brush- everything but the nipple. I feel better using the Avent bottle steamer after washing. I love the three sizes! The 11 oz was a great addition! — — —...
