http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/MAKAW Fri, 20 Mar 2009 16:42:48 GMT Reviews by MAKAW http://www.viewpoints.com/Simmons-Beauty-Rest-Pillow-Top-Mattress-review-0ef44 <p>The  Beautyrest Pillowtop Bonita (Queen) developed a channel where I sleep within 2 weeks of purchase.  I am tall and average weight.  I went back to where I bought it but they did not offer a return or exchange.  ("Sorry about your problem".)  I recently talked with someone else who had the same experience with this mattress.  They lived it for 3 years before the indentation met the warranty requirments.  In addition, they had to pay to have someone come out and inspect the indentation (twice!) prior to the warranty being exercised. </p><p>I've had the mattress for 13 months and developed hip and shoulder pain 6 months ago.  This may or may not be related to the mattress but I haven't experienced this discomfort prior to this.  When I need a good nights sleep, I sleep on the couch. </p><p>I read the Consumer Reports article on how to buy a mattress.  (CU refuses to review as they say comfort is too subjective.)  However, following their advice will not prevent you from buying a mattress...</p>...
