Lynxie says "I'd Rather Buy A Used Telephone At Goodwill" about Presidian - 5.8GHz Cordless Phone with Caller ID

I got a Presidian 5.8 GHz Cordless Analog Phone Bundle from Radio Shack in Elyria, Ohio (do not go there, bad merchandise and rude manager "Kellie", who tries to deny refunds when the Service Plan clearly says that if you take the items back, you are entitled to either refund, replacement, or a gift card in store.) and it has no mute button and does not hold calls (drops after anywhere from 50 seconds-1 minute 5 seconds). It looks good, but it is not worth the $39.99 you pay for it. I do not recommend this item at all to anyone if you like working phones
...

Lynxie says "If there were any other phone company in my city, I'd use it." about Centurytel

This company's customer service is ridiculous! I have basically been without a usable phone for a month-and-a-half due to static on the line that makes it impossible to use my phone. I sent an e-mail and got no results. I have had to beg, cry, scream and threaten to even get a repairperson here, and that is going to be between 8 AM- 5 PM today. At this rate, I'd rather use tin cans connected by a string than these yayhoos. If it doesn't get repaired today, we're switching to digital phone. Also they said nothing about reimbursing us for the services we couldn't use. They are truly morons.
...

Lynxie says "Rats! Rats! Rats!" about Rat

I used to have rats a few years back. My rats had always been sweet-tempered, great with my nieces and very cuddly. Rats are also smart, amusing, clean, protective pets who will grow very attached to you. As for the fear of biting, all animals can bite so keep your hands clean while handling your rat, and don't be aggressive towards your little rattie friend or he/she will return the favor, but then again so will any animal. The tail is nothing to fear, as it is what keeps your rattie balanced. All in all, rats are good pets who don't eat much and can be cared for by children as young as eight with supervision.
...

Lynxie says "Bratz dolls have nothing to offer girls" about Bratz

I have quite a bit of experience with Bratz dolls, seeing that my two oldest nieces collected them for seven years, and in my opinion, these dolls warp the minds of perfectly healthy, normal little girls who grow up to believe they are somehow less because they do not look like the pop stars they see on television. My oldest niece has now convinced herself that she is fat and will not drink milk or eat dairy products for fear that she will gain weight and spends hours in front of the mirror obsessing over her appearance, barely passing her classes, and worrying more about what she'll wear to class rather than how she'll do in math. These dolls are awful role models and in my opinion, adults who buy these for girls are only contributing to self-hatred, poor grades, obsession with physical appearance and boy-craziness. I wouldn't buy one of these dolls for my worst enemy's child.
...
