Lynette4 says "Be careful of the Sony VAIO Laptops" about Sony VAIO Laptops

When I first bought my Sony VAIO Laptop (FE Series), I was thrilled. A white keyboard that is almost recessed...how cool is that? Within 3 months, however, the keyboard started for malfunction. Some of the letters would not respond, and some would print out a number instead. Thankfully it was under warranty and the keyboard was replaced with no problems. The service was more than excellent. I was happy again.

Until, just after the 1year warranty ran out, the new keyboard began behaving exactly the same way again! There is no reason for this keyboard failure! Since replacing the keyboard AGAIN, with no warranty was very pricey, I went out and bought a wireless keyboard. What a pain, to use a laptop with a wireless keyboard! It is not that old, now a year and a half.

And it received the new battery for the battery replacement program that happened, but my laptop would not accept the battery. After days with tech support, they said it had to be the motherboard. So...
...

Lynette4 says "The Canon MX310 Printer never lets you down!" about Canon PIXMA MX310 All in One Printer

This Canon PIXMA MX310 All in One Printer is outstanding. I have had it now for almost a year and it has never disappointed. The instruction manual is very easy to understand and helpful. Making copies with the scanner is as simple as using a normal photocopy machine: Put your paper in and press the "copy" button and start, printing as many as you want.

It scans into files, it faxes, and of course, the normal printing features. I have never had a printer before that was so easy to change the inkjet cartridges on. It simply snaps into place and is ready to go. The paper feeder holds about 100 sheets, so running out of paper is not a constant hassle.

It has never grabbed two sheets of paper at a time, a problem I've had with all my other printers. And I have not EVER had a paper jam. Has Canon figured out the magical solution to these common problems? The quality of printing photographs is absolutely amazing.
