Lora726 says "They've perfected the system!" about Alamo

This is the second time I've rented from Alamo and it couldn't be simpler. Everything is done on line and when you get to the airport, you just go to the section marked with the type of car you've chosen (compact, sub-compact, etc.) and select the one you like best. The keys are in it, and all you need to do is show your credit card and reservation form at the exit and off you go. No waiting in lines, no dealing with dummies. Love...

Lora726 says "Great ride, unreliable engine!" about Volkswagen Passat - 2002

Bought my Passat brand new 5 years ago and have a love-hate relationship with it. It's a dream to drive (love the turbo-kick) and a super-comfy ride, but it's in the shop a lot and boy, are the parts pricey! Luckily, I've got a terrific service shop and had a good experience with VW Customer Care. When I complained about the brake booster going after the warranty just expired, they reimbursed me the $200+ for the part. So far so good in its latest year on the road, but I would not recommend this car or buy another....

Lora726 says "Easy to use, great zoom!" about Canon - PowerShot A710 IS Digital Camera

My first foray into digital photography. I'm a 35 mm camera user from way back, and wasn't thrilled about going digital. I read lots of reviews and chose the Canon based on reviews claiming ease of use, 6x Zoom and image stabilizer. So glad I did! I would absolutely recommend this one. Like all digitals, I hear, you need to upgrade the memory card, especially if you use the video option, but that's no biggie at all. I also like the Canon Website for support and downloads....
