LisaJeanine says "great food, poor service" about Applebee's Restaurant - Aurora, IL

My family and I love to come here...it's the closest one to where we live....but EVERY TIME we go there....we get seated quickly and served EXTREMELY SLOWLY!!!

We usually don't get greeted til we've been sitting there for about 5 minutes...which is 3 minutes past the expected time...

Once we order drinks...we wait 5 to even 10 minutes at times to get our drinks, which are usually easy orders like pop, beer, or WATER!!!

Then we have to wait another 5-10 minutes to have our order taken, and when they come to drop off our food....IT'S NOT OURS!!! It's another tables!!!

We always have to go looking for our server to get our check, and they always seem to forget one thing we ask for "on the side".

We rarely complain to management because we go there so often and the food is GOOD...but we do usually mention to the server that we were a little disappointed.

We're pretty patient people but after 2 years of consistently going to this location at least once a month and having the same problems...we are...
...

LisaJeanine says "Delicious, Delicious, Delicious" about Portillo's Hot Dogs - Naperville, IL

I love this place!!! I have been eating at Portillo's since 1998 and maybe even longer than that.....Their food is always fresh, fast and delicious!!! I love that I can get a Beef n Cheese crossaint or a salad with grilled chicken and pecans...and most locations have a Barnelli's so if i'm in the mood for an italian style sandwich or some spaghetti and garlic bread, I CAN!!! I love it!!!!
...

LisaJeanine says "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" about Buffalo Wild Wings Bar & Grill - Warrenville, IL

I love this place!!! I used to live 10 minutes away from it for 2 years and I used to go all the time! I love the mango habanero flavor and the spicy garlic flavor the best...even their "hot" is DELICIOUS!!! Great prices, good beer specials and lots of beer choices....

I will say I do NOT care for their nachos...they're very skimpy for the price and taste "damp".
...

LisaJeanine says "I was a skeptic and now I'm a believer..." about As Seen On TV Original PedEgg

I saw the ped egg on tv infomercials for months, and then stumbled upon it at a bed, bath & beyond store for $9.99.

I bought it and when I got home, I soaked my feet, let them dry, put the ped egg together and then used it...

IT WORKED GREAT!!!

It didn't shave off the skin like it showed on tv..in big chunks...it was more like a fine powder, but either way it got rid of the dead skin, and the "buffer" on the back of it really smoothed out my skin....

I'm VERY glad I bought it
...

LisaJeanine says "Classy colors, variety of colors, always in stock" about O.P.I. Nail Lacquer

I have been using OPI for several years now and although it does cost a dollar to 2 dollars more than most brands of nail polish, it is worth it...

They come in a variety of classy colors and they don't chip like most brands...

I apply 2 layers and my nails always look beautiful without damage for up to 2 weeks...I am a bartender so for any nail polish to last more than a few days on me...is a miracle!
...

LisaJeanine says "It bronzes, it glitters, but it's tricky to ensure no streaks" about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Gelee

I purchased L'Oreal's Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gel at Walgreens. It was on sale as a "buy one, get one free" purchase. So, I got 2 bottles. This was in late May, 2008 and I had already gotten a little sun just from being out and about everyday, and I tan quickly so when I got the product home, I took a shower & exfoliated with a body wash that had exfoliating beads in it. After I got out the shower, and dried off, I read the instructions and it says to make sure you're totally dry and then to do one part of your body at a time. I did so. I applied the gel on my arms, chest, face and neck and let it dry. After it dried, I noticed that some areas on my arms and legs had streaks. It was hard to tell which areas needed more or less gel as I was applying it. Also, the gel, once dry on your body, has a glitter to it. I liked how it sparkled, but then realized it was a dead giveaway to anyone who looked at me that I had used a self tanner...and that, I did not like. It also left a residue...
...
