The Intimate Eve Cami came from Sears and I can't remember the last time I shopped at Sears. I was with a friend on Saturday and she was in search of the perfect petite-sized housecoat with snaps for her 88-year-old mother. None of the anchor stores at the mall sold them so they kept suggesting we go to Sears; which really was our last department store of choice when we had Belk, Dillards and JC Penneys but we headed to Sears and while on the way to the lingerie department I spotted the camisoles. I wasn't really shopping for anything and honestly, I wasn't in need of more camisoles but they were on sale so I got me two, a pink one and a white one.

I don't wear many of the nylon camisoles that were worn 20+ years ago. I like the sporty camisoles with the built-in shelf bra. Why? Because many of the dancers realized we could wear these as the outer garment during practice because it was like a tank-top but still added some support. In August of this year I lost a really special friend to a tragic accident. Brannigan and I were on the same dance team for the last four years and this year we began dating prior to him returning to Australia for a visit with his family. He was involved in an ATV accident that claimed his life and I was left with only the memories of having danced with him and loved him for a short time.

After staying with friends and family for a week I returned to work and went to the post office to check my mail. I had a package to pick up and it was from Brannigan. It seems that while he was in Australia he sent me the "I Wish You" porcelain angel by Bradford Exchange. Along with the angel was a card that said, "Sending you this angel to watch over you until I can hold you in my arms again." He didn't know that I was going to meet him at the Atlanta airport so he mailed me this package as a way of letting me know he was thinking about me and would be seeing me again. Being single, I don't have to do laundry that often and it's probably one of the household chores that I don't care for that much. I love the smell of fresh laundry but I hate the folding and putting away. About a year ago I reviewed the Ultra Downy Tahitian Waterfall fabric softener. I loved that stuff but as is the case with me; I think they discontinued it so I went back to the original April Fresh for months. I stayed clear of the Simple Pleasures for some time because they were always too intense for me. But then the other day I saw this beautiful burgundy bottle. It was Ultra Downy Simple Pleasures: Spice Blossom Dare. I decided to see what it smelled like. I opened the cap and wow! It smelled wonderful. I don't quite know how to describe it; except to say if you have ever smelled Bath and Body Works Twilight Woods then this closely resembles it.

The scent is classy and elegant but not too overwhelming if you are washing men's clothes. It's like an outdoorsy...

I read PattyTherre's review on her mascara (read it here) and I fell in love with everything she said about it. Many know that since joining Viewpoints every time I read a mascara review I will usually refer back to my wonderful L'Oreal Voluminous; which I had been using for about 2-3 years. You can read JasyJen's review on Voluminous here. I never read any other reviews that made me say, "I've just got to have that mascara" until I read Patty's on the L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion. Not only did I have to have it but I went on a journey trying to find it. If you have read our comments during the past week you will see what I mean.

I started off at Walmart and found the L'Oreal Telescopic Original. Don't pick this up thinking you are getting what Patty reviewed. This is in a gold tube and has the standard brush. The Explosion has a tiny ball-like brush and comes in a red tube. I went to three Walmarts and couldn't find Explosion. It was then recommended I try CVS and Rite...

Back in 2001 I bought a complete line of L'Oreal makeup and within two days I discovered that I couldn't wear the eyeshadow. It had some sort of fragrance in it that irritated my eyelids and the skin literally peeled off. I knew it was the makeup because once I quit using it my eyes cleared up within days. I returned to my old faithful Clinique and was content for years. But then I bought a new home and decided that I needed to cut some corners and went back to my drugstore makeup versus the elite lines. I have done well until last week.

I was in need of eyeshadow and mascara. PattyTherre had posted an awesome review on the L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion mascara and I just knew I had to get me some. So while out hunting for that I checked out the eyeshadow. L'Oreal has a color line and the "For Brown Eyes" was beautiful.
