Lillydot says "Works like a charm!!" about Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair

WONDERFUL!!! What can I say about the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair?! It works great! I bought one today and tried it out on my microsuede couch set. It was very easy to use and worked like a charm! I have two cats and, believe me, there's hair EVERYWHERE. This little jewel picked up all the hair quickly, and easily. It was very simple to use, light weight, and efficient. I like the clear plastic window so you can actually see all the pet hair that was hidden on you fabrics. The only down side is the Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair is not re-useable. Once its filled up, you're suppose to trash it, which I think is a horrible waste. I'm sure I could cut a little window out of the plastic top and dump it out and them tape it back closed, if I was really desperate. But overall, I was incredibly happy with this product and I would definatle but it again!...

Lillydot says "Just as good as an iPhone!" about Samsung - Eternity Cell Phone

WOW. This phone is really awesome! I've had it for a little over three months now and I'm still very pleased.Let me first say that I've been a cell phone user for over 10 years. And out of those ten years, only 2 of my phones have not been a Nokia. I like the simplicity of their menu and I couldn't find that with other phones.

I came across this phone on the At&t website. It didn't have any reviews. So then I checked it out on other various reviewing websites. Looked good so far. Then I went to an At&t store and had them bring one out for me to fiddle with. At the time I got it, they didn't even have a model on the floor yet, it was that new!

down to the good stuff, the pros of the Samsung A867 or The Eternity:

-VERY large screen

-very easy to use menu (you can figure most of it out without using the user guide cd that comes with it)

-comes with a lot of storage. I haven't even bought a memory card for this phone yet. I've been able to store about 200 photos on it just with its internal memory...
...

Lillydot says "Great, Great, Great!" about Lion Brand Wool-Ease Yarn

I recently bought a skein of the Lion brand Wool Ease Chunky yarn in a charcoal gray color to knit a pair of gloves. This yarn in 80% acrylic, 20% wool. This was my first time trying this type of yarn from Lion Brand, and i must say, I am VERY impressed! The yarn was thick and strong. I easily knitted my project. The stitches were clear and easy to see and the finished product was very warm and not at all scratchy, like some wool yarns can be. And its machine washable and dry-able with minimum shrinkage. I do a cold water wash and a cool dry and it seems to do the trick. Next, I'm gonna knit up a pair of socks! It's mighty cold here in Boston in the winter, and I'm sure this yarn will come in handy!...

Lillydot says "It can do a lot more than you think!" about Provo Craft Knifty Knitter Looms

I've had my Provo-craft looms for about 2 years now. I have the four round looms and the four long looms. For the first year I only made hats on the round loom and scarves on the long looms. But I just recently bought some loom pattern books and its opened up a whole new world to looming! On these looms you can make a variety of things such as mittens, socks, slippers, hats with visors, even larger items such as sweaters. A lot of people also use them to make cute little decorations such as Christmas ornaments and such. If you knit with wool yarn, you can "felt" your items, which means you wash them for a few minutes in hot water to shrink the wool and bind the fibers together to create a felt-like look. The Knifty Knitter looms by Provo-craft are a great place to start if you've never loomed before, or don't even know what it is! There are a few great things about them:

1. they're pretty sturdy!

2. a pack comes with four sizes for variety

3. they're not too expensive

4. it comes with some...
...

Lillydot says "Almost Perfect!" about Toyota Yaris - 2007

God, I love my car! I got a 2007 Absolutely Red Yaris liftback in Feb of 07 with 3 miles on it! I got a base model with manual windows and locks. There are a lot of super great things about this car that I love, and some things I could do without.

First, it had a lot of room inside. My previous car was a 03 Ford Focus 2dr Hatchback. The Yaris is roomier inside, BUT it has no trunk to speak of. I can fit about three to four paper grocery bags...and that it.

The car is nice and small and easy to manuver and get into all those tight parking spots, especially when you live in a big crowded city, as I do, BUT its small size also makes it very light and in the winter months, with icy road, that makes me feel unsafe at times. Also when a stong gust of wind blows on the highway, you tend to be blown around a lot. It can be pretty scary the first few times!

The gas milage is pretty good. I primarily drive in the city through rush hour traffic, so I typically get about 28-30 mpg. But I've heard...
...

Lillydot says "A little exprensive, but heats well" about Vornado Heater - Vortex Heater - Avth2

I bought my Vornado Vortex Heater from Bed Bath and Beyond last weekend and have been using it all week. It was a bit pricey, costing $100, seeing as I have a Holmes electric heaters that work just as well that cost half as much. One thing the Vornado heater is great for is pushing the warm air around! This can be a great thing, and it can be a bit of a pian at times. My house isn't always the neatest. I also have a cat that sheds like crazy. I have to be careful to always aim the heater upwards, or else I have dust and cat fur flying around when the air hits it! Its also very safe. If the heater tips over, it shuts off automatically. Overall, I say the Vornado Vortex heater does everything it says it will, at a price. My recommendation, keep shopping around. You can find a heater just as good for half the price!
...
