Laydeebug says "Cool Toy!" about Funantics Toys Potato Gun

We got these for our boys (6, 7) for Christmas. What great fun! Potatoes are cheap ammunition, which you don't need to retrieve later! How many times have you heard, "Mom, I lost my darts! Can you help me find them?" These are safe, no one will put an eye out or injure anyone with these little chunks of potato. The only things that are even a little bit bad about these so far is that they are not an inside toy - I don't want to find rotten, moldy chunks of potato behind the furniture - and sometimes the potato "bullets" get stuck in the end of the barrel. Ah well, not bad at 2 guns for $5 and a 10# bag of potatoes for even less. These are a keeper....

Laydeebug says "Hmmm. Could be better designed." about Mr. Coffee - Coffee Makers

I a a big fan of Mr. Coffee, so when we wore out our old coffee maker (after nearly 10 years) I went right down and got another Mr. Coffee. This one is not nearly so well designed as the last. The carafe leaks coffee all over the counter unless you pour very, very slowly until it is about 1/2 empty. The time buttons can be bumped accidentally and mess up your times brewing if not careful. But, it still has that great Mr. Coffee flavor. I hope in another ten years when this one wears out they will be a little better designed....

Laydeebug says "Try again KitchenAid" about KitchenAid Dishwasher

I got a KitchenAid because of their reputation and because it was one the quietest dishwashers in the store. While it is reasonably quiet, much quieter that my old one, it doesn't clean as well. Dished must be scraped and rinsed and they still sometimes come out with dried on food gunk. I am very disappointed in this purchase....

Laydeebug says "I'll never go back to PC's" about Apple iMac Desktop Computer

I bought my first Mac 9 months ago. I'll never go back. I was concerned about compatibility, but that has not really been an issue. This machine is fast - much faster than a Windows-based PC. It is efficient. It fires up every time, just as one who had not been hood-winked by Microsoft would expect. I have not had any problems and I think it is definitely worth the extra expense....

Laydeebug says "The perfect range for a large family!" about GE Electric Range

Wow, this is the best range I have ever used! It has 2 big burners and an over-sized oven box. As one who cooks for a large family, these are especially important. I can get two regular sized cookie sheets in the oven at the same time and a family sized take-and-bake pizza is no problem! The oven temperature is accurate, I don't need to adjust constantly. I just need to learn to cook rice without overflowing all over the range top :D But, if you do overflow the rice, the burners lift out for easy cleaning and the range top lifts up easily if the ess is particularly yucky. I am sold! I'll keep one of these in my kitchen as long as they make them....
