http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/LWickham Sun, 23 Nov 2008 22:28:39 GMT Reviews by LWickham http://www.viewpoints.com/Hewlett-Packard-Deskjet-1520-Printer-review-23237 <p>The Hewlett Packard Desk-jet D1520 series is a great deal for the money.  My old HP printed with a line running down the page that couldn't be corrected.  I was trying to print resumes for my life partner and needed a printer that was going to print cleanly.  I have always had HP printers and knew I could trust the name.  This printer is relatively compact, easy to set-up, and the cartridges are not very expensive.  The nice thing about this printer is that it also prints photos as if it were an ink-jet.  The photos come out like many more expensive printers.  The fold up paper tray holds up to 80 pieces of paper in the input tray and up to 50 pages in the output tray.  All this for around $33.00.</p><p>The only down side is that it does not come with a black ink cartridge or a USB cable.  Having to purchase these items brings up the initial cost of the printer.  It isn't a lot of extra money, about $7.50 for the cable and about $15.00 for the black ink but unless you are planning the...</p>...
