LINDANUTS says "TASTES GREAT AND IS GOOD FOR YOU" about Post raisin bran

We are a family of cereal eaters. We try to eat foods that are nutritious and delicious. Raisin Bran is one such food. It is a delicious combination of crispy flakes and juicy, sweet raisins. There is no need for added sugar.Just a little skim milk and you have a filling, healthy breakfast--and it's quick, too....

LINDANUTS says "It's Nicholson---what else can I say!!!" about The Bucket List

This movie was so much more than I expected. I laughed and I cried. I was so sad when the main character died but so happy that he had done so much on his list. It gives one pause; like we should all have a list of goals we hope to achieve. We need to follow our dreams. The characters were well-rounded and so irrasible that they were lovable. The cinematography is awesome. I even liked the music. I am hopeful that someone gets some award nods for this one!!!...

LINDANUTS says "EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE!!!!" about Miniature Dachshunds

Our home is a paradise because of the fact that we have mini-dachshunds. It started out 12 years ago. Our daughter mentioned, only in passing, how sweet little dogs could be. Her new husband searched high and low and surprised her with Clifford, a 4 month old mini-doxie. Within 2 weeks, they had to go to a two week training for the National Guard. We accepted our duty with happy faces. Clifford was delightful and fun and perfectly house-broken by the time they got home. After less than 2 weeks at home, they came to realize they just didn't have time to care for Clifford or play with him as he needed. He came to stay permanently. After about a year, I decided by myself to seek out a playmate and Gillian came into our lives. Since Clifford had been neutered, another male was needed so we could have puppies, as now we had grandchildren who should be educated about the life cycle. Soon, we were called upon to rescue a puppy from starvation and abuse. Libby has become a wonderful pet and a terrific...
...

LINDANUTS says "It could only happen to me!" about The Atkins Diet

My husband was diagnosed with Type II diabetes about 15 years ago. He struggled with several different diabetic diets and various medications and could not get his blood sugar leveled out. I have always been a "BIG" girl and I've tried numerous products and diets in my lifetime. Against the advice of his physician, we set out on a 12 month adventure.

It was so easy to do---at first. Just give up bread, buns, corn, peas, cake, cookies, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, pancakes, breading on fish, breading on tenderloins, breading on fried chicken.......the list goes on and on..... We both missed pizza, lasagna, beans in chili, chicken fried steak, blt's, a great big burger ON A BUN!!!! But we struggled on. He took sliced meat without bread to work for lunches--no bread, no chips, no quick snacks--meat, nuts, dairy, raw veggies......I ate alot of vegetable soup without peas, beans, potatoes. We ate bacon and sausage and beef and lots of cabbage, and lettuces.

Long story shorter---husband...
...

LINDANUTS says "EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN A FOOD MAGAZINE" about Kraft Food & Family

I have gotten this free magazine for years. As my children left home to create their own families to feed, I recommended this as their #1 cookbook. We share our test runs of certain recipes; what we eliminate and what we substitute, how it goes over.

The pictures are spectacular. Step-by-step instructions are well detailed. Lists are clear and precise.

I would recommend this magazine to all beginning cooks and skilled cooks, alike. I have many of these recipes in my homemade cookbook with the pictures. I especially love the recipe blocks that show the different ways to alter a recipe; change the flavor or appearance of a dish by adding a different herb or vegetable.
...

LINDANUTS says "Big taste in litle bites" about IAMS Dog Food

We have had mini-dachshunds for 12 years and currently have 9 of the little rascals. They love their IAMS. They are all active, healthy, and loving pets.

We love IAMS because it comes in the small bite size, which is much easier for these small dogs to chew. Their stools are smaller because their is more nutrition and less filler in the IAMS. It comes in a variety sizes--the individual chunks and the bags. You can buy a 4# bag or a 40# bag. You can buy mini bites or large chunks. You can feed your toy poodle or your Saint Bernard using IAMS.

We start our puppies on dampened IAMS and gradually get to the completely dry in a week. Our 12 year old is as playful and alert and healthy as any puppy. We can positively recommend IAMS to any dog owner.
...

LINDANUTS says "Easy to access-inexpensive to operate-pleasing to the eye" about Maytag Refrigerator - Bottom Freezer - MBF2254H

As a future senior citizen, already afflicted by arthritis, the easy access to all compartments of this refridgerator are the most attractive feature.

The temperature is consistent throughout the entire refridgerator. The adjustable shelves make it possible to store almost any product; tall bottles, big turkeys or hams, casserole dishes. The shelves are easy to pull out for easy cleaning.

The freezer on the bottom is an economical feature. The compressor runs less than the ones on top freezer models.

The crisper drawers are easy to see into and easy to remove for cleaning.

We are very happy with our choice.
...

LINDANUTS says "Coffee made the way you like it!" about Mr. Coffee Fresh Brew 12-cup CoffeeMaker

Our Mr. Coffee sees more use than any other appliance in our home. We drink no less than 2 pots every day, and every time we brew a pot, it is exactly like the one before. There are settings you can adjust the strength and the temperature. It has a clock and a timer so you can set it to brew your morning coffee before you go to bed. The metal carafe keeps the coffee hot and ready to drink. The warming plate turns off automatically after one hour.

I can honestly say, we have never had a better coffee maker. My only hope is that they still make this model when our dear Mr. Coffee retires.......

Mr.Coffee--I love you!!
...

LINDANUTS says "These are the best microware on the market today!!!" about Pampered Chef Large Micro-Cooker #2778

I was never a big microwave cooker until the first time I saw the representative use the Pampered Chef microware. I could hardly believe my eyes, nose or mouth. Could this delicious, moist chicken possibly be coming from my own microwave?

As the representative demonstrated, the right cookware and combination of ingredients can create an entire meal that can be done in mere minutes. That night, we made a chicken, rice and green bean meal for 4 servings. I'm not going to give out my secret recipe for company chicken, but I will tell you, IT IS AMAZING!

There are 2 sizes of micro-cooker available from Pampered Chef. The smaller size is suitable for preparing individual servings or side dishes. The large micro-cooker is great for soups and casseroles or side dishes for large gathering. I made chili in ours and was so pleased with the results. The clean up was so easy and the micro-cooker didn't stain from the tomato-based chili.

While the micro-cooker does not tolerate hot oil, it does boil/steam...
...
