After her recent sucess with her smash hit 'T-Shirt' Barbadian superstar follow in the foot steps of friend and fellow barbadian Rihanna, but dont think that Shontelle is simply a sound-a-like, this album has a variety of music genres she explore Raggae, Dub, Pop, and as recently shown in 'T-Shirt' a more glam pop style. She also shows her talent with the pen as she shows the politic world in her eyes in 'Plastic People' and inpiring Reggae sampled sounds like 'Life is not an easy road' if you like Raggae or dancehall but cant turn away form pop music this album is a treat. Shontell is more than average singer as proven to some critics, she a more creative side of Rihanna. While vibing to this CD you'll have no problem knowing that she is form The Caribean, you might even wanna go visit as this album rubs off its 'tropical magic' on you. 'Shontelligence is a rather cocky name for an album, but to me it kind of leaves the signiture of the fresh sounds of Shontelle. This album is awesome...

Lilly Allen has done it again she has manage to release another favourable album. The thing about this album is you either love it or you dont. The thing is Lilly has a way of making you move and at the same time making youj see things her way as she tackles more current affairs as shown is songs like 'F**CK YOU'. Her view may has changed since her debut 'Alright, Still', but you'll still get that 'Allen Facter' (As i like to call it) with those electro inspired beats and the lovable bratty voice she flaunt so well. While listening to this CD you'll realize what a talented lyricist Allen is you'll get cought up in her stories in songs such as 'The Fear', 'Not Fair' and 'Everyone's At It', lyrics like "Ill take off my clothes, and it'll be shameless cause everone knows thats how you get famous" wil have you think about thing (Lol). As creative as an artist is they still need that 'X-Factor' (as Simon would say), and lilly shows that in all the songs one this album show-casing her uniqueness...

i consider the people who buy this CD very considerate, because it's just buying a bunch of songs that you've heard before. Anyway, this CD does not live up to some expectations, i expected more 'chart topping songs to be on 'NOW That's What I Call Music 30' dont give me wrong.. the modern mainstream Pop sound is nice but they should of threw in a bit more juicy tracks. But on the bright side all of the tracks are lovable and something you can dance to. Also it's a great improvement from the bunch of songs they chose for the last CD 'Now That's What I Call Music 29'.

After the six-mounths delay, due to the label not feeling most of the tracks thats why the album is now released as a single-disc CD and not a 3-disc. 'Fantasy Ride starts off very slick sound with sexy enjoyable tunes like the 'tricky' produced 'Ciara to the stage' and front runner single 'Love Sex Magic' Ft. Justin Timberlake. 'Fantasy Ride' will come off as a little bit dull on two tracks but immediatly picks back up the pase, you'll be moving your head to the sexy dance-R&B sounds along. The main idea was to create a fantasy ride for the listeners- in my opinion it did'nt quite do that some parts of the album kinda sounded like jus tracks that were 'put-together' the album is some-what enjoyable in the heat of the momnet, but at the end of the day its forgetable.

While Miley Cyrus is trying to break away from her 'Hannah Montana' persona, Demi has no problem being cast outside the 'Disney Image' box. After her success with the Disney Channel orignal movie 'Camp Rock', she captured our attention with her soulful yet edgy sound. 'Dont Forget' is a non-stop flary album- Demi will take you through all her mixed feelings, from the innocent side of her voice to the firery strengh of her range. While listening to this album you might notice a slight resemblance-Musically, to the Jonas Brothers, this is because most of the songs were co-written and produced by them. The album is basically designed for a more Tween croud though. While listening to the fuzzy guitar sound over most of the chorus's you'll eventually start moving and with more emotional songs like 'Dont Forget', trust me you'll be gravitated by her amazing voice and musical personality.

Pensylvania native, Asher Paul Roth makes his second attemp in the music world after his unsucessful 2006 debut "Believe The Hype". After his recent sucess with his smash hit "I Love College" Charted around the world he caught the world's attention. "Asleep In The Bread Aisle" is a party-must-have, Asher will definatly get your undevided attention in songs like "Lark on my go kart" and "say it aint so" with lyrics like "egging all the houses, smashing all the pumpkins, suck a dick butt-kiss, chumps cant f*%^ with the punk kids" (NOTE:KEEP THIS CD away from kids (lol)), Like the lyrics or not, he still gets your attention. On this record he proves he has no limit lyrically, its not all funs and games he'll make you take him seriously, adressing where he stand as a person in songs like "As I Em" and "la di da". Hesitation to buy this album wil be the mere fact that he sounds like Eminem (yes he does), but there's a difference, Sounding like some one rather than trying to be someone, so...

"Swoon" the second album by "Silversun Pickups is a guitar-driven exciting Cd. This album will make you show emotion and at the same time have your head bobbing to the Alternative rock sound. Beautiful songs like "Growing old is getting old" will captivate your soul and it'll leave quite a meanigful stain on your heart. Compared to their last album "Carnavas" i guess you can say its a bit of a progress this CD has a more variety of radio-friendly songs. The 90's rock influenced is combined with the pop elements along with a hint of shoegaze music and will take you full circle of rock music from raging guitar sounds to a more sof-rock sound. All and all this album is a shelf hanger, if your fan of real rock music you should consider buying this record

Where do i start?, these guys need go back in the studio and redo this whole mess. First off, not even the lead single "imma put it on her" has any real weight. The album came off as boring, bland and at times sounded like a back up quier seeking attention, at the the end of every track there was a certain reluctance to listen to the nest one. I have nothing against r&B but this album just is'nt doing anything musically. On the bright side the vocal are sharp almost giving the album a traditional r&B flare. "Forever in a day" is nothing short of dull and gimmick.These would do better as solo artists.

From the truthful "God Given Name" to the playful "Would've Been the One" is nothing but 80's soul driven adrenaline rush. Solange has no bounderies, she's not afraid to cross the line and thats what makes this album speacial. Solange is now classified undee the line of artist like Erykah Badu. This album is clearly "Sol-Angel" her signiture is all over the tracks.

Singer-Songwriter Keri Hilson proves she"s got talent on her sophomore album "In A Perfect World... ". After her first real vocal perfomance on Timberland's hit "The Way I Are" Keri proved that she' s got some talent. The album is full of sexy-female empowerment anthems that witll "Turn You On", in songs like "Knock You Down", "Turnin me on" and "Get your money up" will knock you off your feet. easy favourites like the Pon Da Don, Jason produced "Make Love" will leave you breathless. Keri may lack vocal personality but she does'nt fall short of a almost perfect album.

These guys second attempt, self titled album "The Fray" form their previous douple -platinum attempt "How To Safe A Life" is simple average. The more soft-rock attempt is sometimes soothing and sometimes boring. "You Found Me", the lead single is by far the best song on there. The other song are fogetable. This album is missing "backbone", it needs a foundation.

After her previous attempt.. "My December" was unsucessful commercialy, Kelly makes a comback with a winner "All I Ever Wanted". As soon as you digest the first track " My Life Would Suck Without You" you'll be wanting more of this Girl-Powered album. With the genius lyrics form people such as Katy Perry, Greg Wells and Ryan Tedder adds a distingtive touch to the lyrical aspect of things. Although Kelly is more giving us a Girl-Pop type music she still has her "Flare" on all of these songs. The only down point on this album is when it ends.

This album would easily come off to some people as "boring", but its not its actually creative and artistic. Her musical range is flawless as she proves in Power Ballats like "Halo" and "If I Were A Boy". The first disc "I Am... " is a more Acoustic- Pop feel as she pierce your heart with hypnotysing simple beats like "Disappear" "Satelites" and "Smash Into You" . On the "SASHA FIERCE" side (Disc 2) is a more up-tempo disc this simply shows Beyonce's versitility and the power in her voice form raw hip hip songs like "Diva" and "Video Phone" to the radio friendly smashers like "Radio" and front runner "Single ladies". The disc is nothing short of creative.
