Kwissen says "Who knew Lisa Loeb had a children's CD out? She's so talented!!" about Catch the Moon by Lisa Loeb

Catch the Moon CD by Lisa Loeb & Elizabeth Mitchell — I LOVE this CD. I keep it in my car at all times. It's great for both kids and adults. — I am always on the look-out for great children's CD's that aren't annoying, and this was such a great find. I was scoping through the kid's section at Borders and stumbled across this adorable, easy-listening CD. — Lisa has such a soft voice and easy strum on her guitar, the music sort of flows in and out of your ear like water does when it trickles down a brook. It relaxes me when I listen to it. — My son loves it as well. His favorite song is, "Little Red Caboose". He's two, so he loves trains and anytime he can sing the word, "Choo-Choo", he's happy. — There are 13 songs total on the CD. Most of them are pretty soft, almost lullaby-ish. But instead of yawning, you'll find yourself singing along!!! — The best part is that the "casing" for the CD is actually a...

Kwissen says "One diaper champ in my house is enough!" about Baby Trend Diaper Champ

I had a co-worker tell me that he owned one Diaper Champ for every room in his house! — EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! — He had like 4 of them!!! Ugh......one is enough, thank you..... — Enough changing of the bags, enough smell, enough trying to get the diaper in the 3 inch diameter hole & then "flushing it down" this crazy contraption without the sides getting stuck & me having to open it up to "unclog" the diaper & then smelling the most foul odor you can imagine.....ENOUGH! — Needless to say, I'm not a fan of the Diaper Champ. BUT....that doen't mean I'm a fan of any other diaper-disposing receptacle other than a regular old garbage can either. Let's face it....this is an ugly time in our lives right now when we have to rid the house of any explosions that come out of our little babies' booties, but, we must do it. (I'm picturing myself up at a podium right now, with patriotic music in the background....) — We must keep the booties...

Kwissen says "The White Tea scent is amazing! Great for your bathroom." about Method Creamy Hand Wash

Method Creamy Hand Wash - White Tea Scent — Are you looking for an inexpensive way to add a little decor to your bathroom (or kitchen)? — Look no further than Method hand wash products. They come in different shapes and sizes. The bottle I bought looks like a quilted, square, white pillow (but with 6 sides instead of 2). — My favorite is the White Tea scent....a nice, sweet, clean smell that is not overbearing, too flowery nor perfumey (is that a word???) — Another bonus bit of info. about Method products is that they are non-toxic, biodegradable and naturally derived. — Can be found at www.methodhome.com, Target, Jewel —...

Kwissen says "Do you want your laundry to have a baby fresh scent?" about Dreft Laundry Detergent

Dreft Laundry Detergent — I love this product! I bought it at the recommendation of a friend who just had a baby. She said it was safe and gentle to use for infant laundry. — ......that was 2 years ago....and I am still using this product! Here's the best part: — I use it on my clothes too!!! It makes everything smell so gentle and soft, just like a newborn baby (the clean version, like right after they got out of the tub). :) — I would give Dreft 5 stars, but....it costs more than regular laundry detergent, there's NEVER any on sale, and it's so hard to get coupons. — BUT.....I do believe I'm paying for a specialized product and that is why it's more than average price. Plus, why not spend a little extra money on a product that can change the scent of my laundry from spit-up and #2 to the sweet, soft smell of a baby's face??? —...

I am really picky about products that I use around my children, especially chemicals. — I have pretty bad allergies too, so my decisions about household cleaning products are well-researched. — I like the Clorox Anywhere Spray because it is safe to use around kids (pets too), cleans up very nicely and doesn't have that lingering odor of bleach or other strong chemicals. — The company claims that it kills 99.9% of bacteria on hard, non-porous surfaces. I like to believe their claim, as I use this product in the kitchen most of the time. — I use this spray: —...

Stride Rite Baby Guppy Brown Leather Sandals — Cute children's sandals that look good enough to wear with your Sunday best or for daily activities (however, I wouldn't have my kid playing in the mud with these) — My toddler used them all summer & they still look good (and he's all over the place!) — Sandals were in the boys section, but they look unisex — Easy to slip on & off, has velcro closure — They are closed-toe, which makes them a great 1st sandal for walkers/toddlers — Priced at $39.00, they are up there, but are worth it if your child is comfortable — We bought ours at Stride Rite in Wheaton, IL (very friendly staff, a family-owned store for years!) — ...

Table Toppers — What are they? Disposable placemats with cute designs like Sesame Street, Spongebob Squarepants, etc.. — How do you use them? They are plastic sheets that come with adhesive running along the top and bottom. Once you peel off the backing, you will have a temporary adhesive that sticks to tables. Don't worry....the adhesive doesn't harm the finish. — Why buy them? They are great for restaurants, picnics, or anywhere your little one will have his/her hands. We eat out a lot and I always keep these in my purse and in the diaper bag because who knows what kind of germs are lingering on restaurant tables!!! — **I am not a germaphobe....but I do have a 2 year old who likes to dump his plate of food on the table and eat with his hands. I'd rather have him make his spaghetti fort on these placemats (that don't move) than on a public table.

EDAMAME (pronounced "ed-uh-MA-may") — I became addicted to these tiny, green soybeans when I started going to Sushi restaurants. Little did I know that I could buy them frozen at places like Trader Joes and Whole Foods. I personally think the Trader Joe's Edamame tastes better than the ones at Whole Foods (360 brand). — I now buy 5 bags at a time just to keep them in the house for quick snacks or to add to salads. My husband and 2 year old son love to push them out of their pods and into their mouths. The bowl is usually gone in 15 minutes. — For those of you who don't know what Edamame are....they look like snap peas. You buy them frozen for under $3.00/bag, boil them for a few minutes (until they start to float), drain them under cool water, and sprinkle a little sea salt (or regular salt) over the tops and enjoy! (You don't have to put anything on them & they still...

I bought the Slim Cognito Spanx at a department store about 2 weeks after having my first child (2 years ago). I still wear this wonderful, slimming undergarment (2 years later). — The Slim Cognito is an undergarment that goes up over your panties to right under your bra. It's like a modern-day girdle, if you will. — I am unsure of the material it is made out of, but it does stretch. I bought the nude color for around $55. It seemed pricey at first, but considering all the use I've gotten out of it (as well as compliments as to how good my body looks after having back-to-back children), I'd say it was money well spent! — There are other products out there by Spanx, but this is the only one I've tried and liked. — I've worn it under dresses, jeans, shorts and skirts. It is discreet and even takes care of panty-lines! — I recommend this product to every woman out there who wants to slim down the belly temporarily without...

I have an LG PM225 phone through Sprint. It has caused me trouble since November '05. It's a mixture of both the phone and the service from Sprint that is bad. — The phone was around $80 when I purchased it with a 2 year agreement. About 30 days after that purchase, the phone was being offered for free from Sprint but they wouldn't honor that deal and retro-credit me. — I wouldn't purchase this phone nor another LG in the future. It seems like it was cheaply made....

After reading advertisements in famous magazines and listening to women talk about this product at the store, I HAD to buy it. I didn't care if it cost me a car payment, if it got rid of the dark half moons under my eyes that make me look like the caped crusader, that was all I cared about. — Oh was I in for a rude awakening (and it wasn't under my eyes)!!! It was from my wallet. I can't believe I was duped into spending almost $100 on a goofy product the size of a tube of trial sized toothpaste!!!! — I used it for about 2 weeks straight, at night before bed. No results like they said. My dark circles were still there. I fell into all the hype about a new product before learning about it 100%. Thank goodness for websites like this. If I can prevent one more person from getting suckered into buying this garbage, then I'll have done a good deed. — Beware of Hylexin! Under eye circles are genetic. They are...

I tried this "anti-aging" lotion on my hand at Von Maur's cosmetics trend show a few years ago. I left the store without purchasing this product, but the rest of the day I kept touching the top of my hand and commenting on how smooth it felt. I went back and bought it a few days later.... — At around $80 for 1 FL OZ, this product is at the upper echelon of my cosmetics spending budget. HOWEVER....it did last about 8 months and I will forever be addicted to this product. You are supposed to use Perfectionist under your normal moisturizer, as it does not contain any SPF, but it makes my skin feel so smooth, I rarely put anything on top of it. — If you are in a serious need for smooth skin with rapid results and don't mind spending a bit more money, then this product is for you! But wait until the department stores have bonus time, then you'll score some great freebies as well! — ...
