Korijami says "Lots of fun and personality." about Pet Parakeet/Budgie

My brother-in-law gave us a young parakeet and a cage last year. He raises parakeets and cocktiels, but he doesn't train them. We had parakeets when growing up, so I knew a little about them. But I've learned a lot since then, and would recommend parakeets as pets. However, I would recommend reading about them first so that you can care for them properly. — Our little "Peeper" is quite a songster, although he doesn't talk. He does respond to us when we whistle, though. He always climbs on our hands and likes to nibble on my hair. He can do some amazing acrobatics and is very entertaining. My granddaughters enjoy him, too, even though he does bite, though not hard. And my husband, who's not a pet lover, enjoys him as well. — A few months ago, my brother-in-law gave us a female also. She's much more timid and quiet, but she's adjusting. I read that parakeets need companionship and mate for life,...

Korijami says "Excellent for bathroom cleaning." about Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

I like Clorox Disinfecting Wipes for the bathroom. They clean and disinfect the toilet in just a few wipes, making one of the most unpleasant household jobs a lot easier. Anything that does that has my...

Korijami says "Impatiens are very pretty and easy to grow." about Impatiens (Impatiens flowers, Annual)

I love to plant impatiens bedding plants in containers. Three or four plants will grow and fill a moderately large pot. This past year, I planted one in with some hanging basket begonias, and when the weather got colder, I brought it into the house. It's still growing and blooming now in March. It is now spreading out to about a foot in diameter. I didn't realize until reading the other reviews that impatiens prefer shade. I've grown them on my porch where they get quite a lot of sun for several years. So I guess they're pretty flexible. Enjoy...

Korijami says "Fun, great atmosphere, food - not so great." about Gardunos of Mexico - Albuquerque, NM

We used to eat at Garduno's whenever we had a special occasion or out-of-town guests. We enjoyed the authentic Mexican atmosphere, and especially the Mariachis. It made for a special evening. However, the last two times when we took out-of-town family there, some of whom are Hispanic, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. It lacked the true Mexican-food flavor. Some of the items weren't really very good at all. And considering the high price, it was disappointing, sorry to say. I hope it has improved since then, since I'm afraid to recommend it...

Korijami says "They get marks off the floor that nothing else will." about Mr Clean Magic Eraser, Extra Power

The Magic Eraser gets into the little indentations in floors and washable walls where the grime likes to hide. I think they do a great job. They do begin to crumble after a while, but since they're really intended for problem areas and not overall cleaning, I think they last long enough to do a lot of cleaning before they're used...

Korijami says "They're a great way to exercise, but you have to be committed." about Treadmills- Should I own one?

I've had two treadmills from different companies (my daughter "borrowed" the first one, permanently), and I think they're excellent exercisers. BUT, they don't do much good just sitting there. You have to be committed to using the treadmill regularly. I always start out well, but in a couple of weeks I begin to miss exercise sessions. After all, there's no one there to make me feel like I should continue. So if you're not very good at committing to exercising at home, don't get a...
