Kelyn says "Do you like to fly?" about Dyna Pep Energy Micro-Shots

I believe my first comment about Dynapep Micro-energy shots should be : Use with Caution! Dyna Pep Micro-energy shots come in a tiny little plastic package that looks quite innocent - like medicine in fact. Tastes that way too by the way! Yuck! I foolishly thought that this would be like every other energy supplement I had ever taken and downed the entire contents of this little container at once. Never again will I take the whole thing at once. Within 10 minutes the top of my head started to tingle. Within twenty it felt like it was floating about two inches above the top of my skull. Not unpleasant, just ...odd. And the feeling remained all day. Note that the reason I had tried this little thriller was that I had just pulled an all nighter playing a new PC game and HAD to stay awake the next day. l stayed awake with no problem. All day. Wasn't even tempted to sleep. Got everything on my list done too. Was a little difficult tho, had to do it piecemeal. Seems they forgot...
...

Kelyn says "The Lakeside Collection is one of my favorite Holiday stops" about The Lakeside Collection

I discovered the Lakeside Collection several years ago when quite by accident I was sent a catalog meant for the previous resident of the house I was then living in. It was a very fortunate accident. I looked through their catalog and was hooked. I ordered shortly afterward and have never looked back. They stock everything from children's books to some very pretty stemware; and from teachers gifts to an entire set of drill bits that will "wow" the handiest of husbands. Their prices run the gamut from a mere $5 to around $50 and I have always found their shipping to be reasonable. Never have I had to return any item I have ordered from them or been less than satisfied with the customer service they have given.

Their website is easy to navigate, allowing you to navigate by theme, price or department. Or, if you know exactly which catalog you are ordering from, they even have a catalog quick order to save time. I highly recommend them.
...

Kelyn says "Convienent for small spaces but not a stellar value" about Hoover - Fold Away Vacuum

I was somewhat disappointed by the Hoover Fold-Away Vacuum mostly because I am familiar with the Hoover name and have come to expect great things from this brand. While the vacuum is very conveniently sized and folds up to fit neatly in a closet just as advertised, the filter clogs constantly and we have lost count of how many belts we have had to replace. You can tell it is vacuuming day at our house by the scent of scorching rubber that comes to permeate the rooms if you do not stop the vacuum in time each time it picks up the odd something that does not agree with it, sometimes no more than a fiber of carpet or a paperclip.
...

I tried this litter with great trepidation switching over from my last Tidy cats litter. I could not imagine how Tidy Cats could possibly have topped the success of their Multiple Cats Litter that I've been using with better results than anything else I have ever tried. I'm sure you've seen the commercial of the cat hiring the bloodhound to find her litterbox? If that's not for this cat litter, it should be! My laundry room has not smelled this good for this long in quite a while. Now I'm not saying I can go off an leave it for days, but it does allow us to skip a day (or forget one by accident in the case of my children) now and then without our cats committing mutiny or our house smelling like a garbage scow has docked. Tidy Cats Small Spaces is a definite winner on our small ship.
...

Kelyn says "Fable, the Lost Chapters: Great RolePlaying Action!" about Microsoft - Fable: Lost Chapters for Windows

Fable, the Lost Chapters allows the user to begin with his/her character as a child and advance throughout his "career" as a hero with every single moral decision toward "good" or "evil" the character makes shaping the characters appearance and the reactions of the NPC's towards the "Hero" (NPC- Non player characters such as villagers, guards, etc.) Shortly after gameplay begins, the childs' village is attacked and the child will be rescued and taken to a "Hero academy" to be trained. Thus the term "Hero" whether you decide to be good or evil.

There are many quests available in the game, some being side quests (bronze) simply there to amuse, others (silver) to allow the "Hero" to gain the experience he will need to aquire spells, strength, skill, etc, and advance. Completion of "Gold" or main quests is required to advance through and complete the game. Your hero will have many lovelies fall in love (or lust) with him through the course of the game and can even get married if you...
...

Dicey is 13 years old , competent, level headed, extremely intellegent...and has always been her Mothers' back up plan. Whenever there was anything Mother could not handle doing Dicey handled it. But now Mother has lost her job and their money is almost gone, so they have packed the car and headed across country toward Bridgeport where their rich Aunt Cilla lives to see if she can help. Mamma has been acting a little strange lately, wandering off for sometimes hours at a time and playing with little Sammy as if she were not a grown up, but another six year old. Dicey is a bit worried but doesn't think much of it when Mamma pulls in at a mall and tells the children to wait in the car while she goes in, that she'll be right back. But she's not right back. The children wait for hours and Mamma doesn't come back. They wait through the long night and Mamma still isn't back. Then Dicey, as always when Mamma fails, takes things into her own hands.

I happened accross Diggles in Big Lots for $6. Some of the best money I ever spent. A warning though. For lovers of Sims this game is positively addictive! Further warning... this game is definitely PG-13. But I'm getting ahead of myself. You start off in "tutorial mode" with a mini-tribe of dwarves and are taken through a short building sequence teaching you how to move them around and get them to build the first objects that will help them to survive. You are GOD in this game and if you don't keep your little subjects on task there's no telling what they will wander off and do. Oh, you'll have the occasional smart ones who will see things that need to be done and busily go about doing them, but they are the exception, not the rule. They're also the ones you want to have parent the next generation. Yup, if you're alert and time it just right, you can set it up so that you can play Cupid between the dwarves of your choice by putting them on the same work/play shifts so...
...

The age range stated on the Hasbro Baby Alive doll is 3 - 6 Years old. WRONGO. Maybe for a pretty, just to look at, non - working version; but not for the version that they sell in the stores! I was sooooo glad my daughter was already 11 years old when I brought this "little darling" into my house. In it's defense, my daughter does love her Baby Alive doll and does play with her often. The doll does have many drawbacks however that I don't seem to remember from my own childhood!! First of course she's expensive...$50. She's messy,,VERY messy and I don't just mean the food. Those diapers leak. We started buyig premie diaper because they cost less and fit better! Still my daughter plays with her in the bathroom or over the kitchen sink ONLY. She doesnt' seem to mind. You also have to clean the Baby Alive Doll thoroughly after every time she eats or she gets positively icky. *think mold* She is cute when she talks to you and wrinkles that adorable little nose but you can only...
...

Kelyn says "Great if your a Photo Mavin or have many Doc.s to archive." about Western Digital My Book Home Edition 1 TB WDH1CS10000N Hard Drive

The Western Digital My Book Home Edition is great if youre running out of hard drive space and have a collection of documents that you need to archive or a huge collection of digital photos or music that you need to switch off of your internal hard drive to make space. Anything of a non-processing nature it can handle. It is PC and Mac compatible, holds a huge amount of information, and is extremely easy to get started with because there's really no set up to it; you just plug it in and you're on your way! It's really small; about the size of a hardback book that's been cut in half so it fits just about anywhere and if you have more than one they nest together very neatly.

The only drawback that we've found, if you can really call it that is that you can't store and run games from this hard drive. It's for non-processing files only, so it really didn't help us as much as we had hoped. We have a LOT of games on our computer! So don't get this thinking you're going to use it to...
...

We picked up the Asus EEE Notebook Laptop right before Christmas for $299 as a gift for our twins. It has worked out just famously. The keyboard is just the right size for their hands and it's wireless so they can do their everyday e-mailing back and forth to their friends from anywhere in house, the backyard or even sometimes at a restaurant if it's a hotspot!! It does just fine for the anime videos they like to watch on YouTube as well even though we were worried about the memory. No problems there. It has a great little word processing program for homework and hooks right up to the printer when they're ready to print things out! It even comes with games already on it! (Our oldest has become addicted to "Crack Attack" and it's not even her computer!) It also has a typing tutor program that came in quite handy since the twins had to take keyboarding this year. All in all it was a very good buy. I wholeheartedly endorse it!
...

Kelyn says "Far and away the best I've tried" about Purina Purina Cat Chow indoor formula

I actually first tried this when I picked it up by accident one day at Wal-Mart. (The bag is the exact same color as my then-regular cat food.) My cats absolutely loved it. I have one who is a rather picky eater and I was afraid I was going to have to go back and get a small bag of our regular, but even she ate it. We actually switched because it was formulated specifically for indoor cats and seemed to help our "little mamma" who washes simply everyone with her hairball problem. Many fewer vet visits since the switch and he attributes it to changing food. So I wouldn't switch back for the world! We did encounter one "problem" though. You will have to watch your dogs more closely if you have them. Ours are forever trying to get into the catfood now or to push the cats aside to get to the bowls. They seem to prefer this brand of catfood over their own dogfood even though theirs is Purina as well! Oh well, thanks Purina!
...

We got the Westinghouse indoor grill one year as a christmas present and I have to say it's one of the best we've ever gotten. There isn't a week that goes by that it isn't pulled out and used, even during the summer months. That would be because of me, of course. I don't like bugs. The indoor grill is a great option for those of us who like the taste of grilled food but not the exposure to the outdoors that big grills bring with them.

If this grill has a drawback I would have to say that it's the grease trap underneath. I've learned to just let the unit sit and cool off and the grease solidify before even trying to deal with emptying it, otherwise I end up with grease on my clothes and all over everywhere.

The grill surface easily fits 5 bratwurst, 4 porkchops or 2 nice sized steaks and is coated with a non-stick surface. If you're careful with it and use the right tools it should last quite a while if not forever. (Unfortunately I found this out the hard way. Read the...
...

Kelyn says "The mini-chopper is Good for the food processing impaired!!" about Oster Hand held mini - chopper

I recently had occasion to pull my Oster mini-chopper out of storage when my electric food processor malfunctioned. It had been a while since I had used this non-electric throwback to the good-ol-days and I had forgotten exactly how handy this little gadget is! The Oster mini - chopper is a very simple kitchen gadget consisting of a 2 cup glass jar topped by a thick plastic lid holding a spring loaded "chopper" with a handle on one end and a set of sharp, crossed blades on the other.

On this occasion I was simply using it to chop mushrooms but in the past I have used it for everything from black olives to Parmesan to eggs. The only thing I can recall that it really bombed out on that the box said it was supposed to chop is nuts. It has "cross hair" blades and, being an extremely simple chopper, you have to manually turn them after each chop. This is not difficult and quickly becomes second nature. I do wish they had thought to put this little fact into the instructions though. I......

In Sims2 Pets, you are invited to add pets to your Sims world. You have your choice of cats, dogs, a hamster-like creature, and a couple of types of birds. You can either simply have your Sim call the Pet Adoption center from his home to choose a game-made pet; or for the creative among us, there is the chance to create our own breed of dogs and cats.
Of course after you have your darling additions to the family home, you have to worry about integrating them into the household! They aren't just going to sit around and look pretty, no siree bob. You've got cats shredding furniture to tiny bits, dogs chasing the neighbors... if you're not on top of training your new family member(s) things can get out of hand quickly. And I don't say family memberS lightly.. these little darlings can have families of their own! You can choose to become a breeder and create new pedigrees of dogs and cats consciously or, simply by not reading the instruction manual and buying the correct breeding bed...
...

Whenever I had been very, very good, made exceptionally good grades, etc., she would let me" dress up" with her jewelery and dab a bit on as a reward; this was how I learned about perfume and pulse points!! I can remember standing at her vanity, looking in the mirror and being allowed to dress up in her "second best pearls" and earrings, the scent of Chloe in the air. This perfume will always be one of my favorites not just for its wonderful scent but for the memories that scent evokes. Make some memories....

The Host was the first Stephanie Meyer's book I read. I had perused her Twilight series but had passed it over. The Host changed all that. As the chapter's in the book are relatively short I read about the first five standing in the store. I was hooked. There was no way I was leaving without this book. The plot is totally plausible if you are a believer that we are not alone; it is equally chilling.

Earth has been ever so quietly taken over by an alien species who occupy our bodies one by one and obliterate all but the strongest of our souls. This is the story of one such Host; Melanie and her struggle with the "soul" that is her new companion. I read the entire book in two days time. If I had been able to read it in one sitting I would have. The characters pull you into their lives and make you want to know more. I wait impatiently for a sequel. The Host is a must read. I am now investigating her Twilight series. If The Host is this good, surely the Twilight......

Call me spoiled, but I actually like to be able to njoy my popcorn. My girls recieved this little gadget as a gift and it seemed like a great weight loss idea right? Right. All of it is hurry up and wait. First, before you can put the first kernel of popcorn in, the machine has to warm up. Then you fill a very shallow cup with popcorn and pour it in and watch it pop. Cool!!! IF you have the right size bowl set between the wheels of the machine you will be able to actually catch and eat your treasure! Now just pop another set right? NOPE. You have to let the machine cool down for at least 10 minutes between each popping or the shield might melt. Hope you weren't planning on watching that movie anytime soon! Oh, I almost forgot. Don't forget to season youf popcorn the moment it comes out of the popper or the seasonings won't stick. Can you say Bland three times fast? It does come with an idea book for seasoning but we were never able to get any of them to actually......

Kelyn says "Better than Nyquil by far! An excellent Product." about Triaminic Theraflu Night-Time Warming Relief Syrup

I have been using Theraflu Night - Time Severe Cold Warming Relief Syrup for some time now during severe colds for myself and my husband with fantastic results. It is far superior in results to the current formulation of Nyquil since they removed the anithistimine. Theraflu has kept the antihistamine in their cold medicine, for which I am very grateful. Theraflu Night - Time Severe Cold Warming Relief Syrup has ingredients which address headache, aches and pains, congestion, runny nose/itchy watery eyes, and cough. In a word, it IS what Nyquil WAS before they changed their formula.

I have very recently used it for the first time with my daughters who are now 12 and so have reached the "allowable age" for its' use. Not only did it relieve their symptoms from aches and slight fever, to cough, and a congested, sniffly nose; they got a good night's sleep on top of it all. The only downside I have to giving it to my children is the same one I would have had with Nyquil; Theraflu Night......

Kelyn says "Excellent Product! Highly recommended!" about Mucinex DM

My family doctor has me on Mucinex DM as part of my everyday allergy treament. I take it at night before I go to bed. There are some nights I wouldn't be able to sleep without it. The commercials about it "eliminating the mucus monsters" are absolutely accurate and it is relatively quick as well, usually bringing some measure of relief within 20 minutes. The DM portion of this particular version also brings relief from nasal congestion. I only occasionally have to take it during the day but when I do it does just as good a job then with no annoying side effects that I have noticed. I have also had occasion to use it for coughs with success although that is not its normal everyday use in my household....

Kelyn says "Almost useless for sinus headaches or a budding migraine." about Equate Extra Strength Acetaminophen

I suffer from frequent headaches and migraines and have to take something as soon as I feel one coming on or I'm toast. I was initially drawn to Equate Headache Relief because it is an excellent value for the money, being exactly the same thing as Tylenol, just a generic. However, for me, taking this medication is about like drinking a cup of water for all the good it does on these two types of headaches. I have found Ibuprophen to be MUCH more effective, whether generic or name brand, doesn't matter. Equate Headache Relief may be effective for some types of headaches and some users, but it certainly didn't prove itself with me....
