A Lick Of Frost is book six in the continuing saga of the faerie princess Meredith Gentry by the very prolific writer Laurell K. Hamilton. This book quickly picks up right where the last story ended but is even more enjoyable and well focused. I found it to be a delightful read filled with lots of turns, surprises, and twists. And that's not even mentioning the plotting and intrigue.
If you enjoy stories about faeries, politics, and dark intrigue, then you'll love A Lick Of Frost....

I recently had the privilage of reviewing the new James Thayer book that's due to be released in March and I have to say that it's fantastic!

Something Of A Romance by the prolific author James Thayer is a fantastic and fast paced adventure filled with so many interesting and fascinating characters. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end, wondering what will happen next. The chemistry between the weary battle scared boxer Dennis and the beautiful socialite Isobel is mesmerizing. If you've enjoyed James Thayer's books in the past then this one, his first but hopefully not his last attempt at a romance will delight you. I found this book almost impossible to put down and James Thayer has a brand new fan in me.

Jacob is the first installment of the Nightwalkers series by Jacquelyn Frank. Because of the name of the series, I first thought that Jacob was a vampire story but it's actually about demons. Jacob is a compelling and extremely interesting story with strong likable characters.

BloodFever is book two of Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. The Fever series is a lot darker, more serious, and much more intriguing than her previous books. The Fever series isn't your typical romance, I would describe more as a dark fantasy than a romance.

Lady Of Light And Shadows is book two in an extraordinary new series by C.L. Wilson. If you haven't read the first book Lord Of The Fading Lands you really should read it first to get the most out of the series . I found it to be a wonderful fantasy that grabs your attention right from the start. If you enjoy deep dark fantasy, fairy tales, magic, wizards and the eternal battle of good versus evil and a little hot sex thrown in, then this is the book for you.

He Stepped from the sky to claim her like an enchanted prince from the pages of a fairy tale, but behind the mesmerizing beauty of his violet eyes she saw the driving hunger of the beast and an endless sorrow only she could heal. Christine Warren returns to the world of The Others in her hot new romance Howl At The Moon. If you enjoy reading about werewolf's and hot alpha males then you won't be disappointed with her newest novel. I found the book to be very well written and completely engrossing. The characters are well rounded and very likable and the chemistry between the two main characters Noah and Samantha is hot, hot, hot.

I give it five stars *****

Works great if your looking for a nutritious low carb shake and taste doesn't matter. Otherwise the flavor is very much lacking, I would never describe it as yummy. What, a surprise this movie was. Drew Barrymore as Cinderella was sweet, charming, feisty and oh so believable. I was so impressed with her acting, she really makes the movie believable. This movie is great for the whole family,even my husband liked it. Although I did almost have to force him to watch it in the first place.

Drew Barrymore stars as the much put-upon princess in this 1998 version of the classic fairy tale. Orphaned as a child, Danielle (Barrymore) is treated like a servant by her wicked stepmother (Anjelica Huston) and two wicked stepsisters. When Danielle accidentally stumbles onto Prince Henry (Dougray Scott) who's fleeing an arranged marriage, the two hit it off right away and inspire each other to resolve their respective troubles in this lushly produced romantic fable. The movie is 121 minutes long and rated PG 13 for strong language although I can only remember one bad word in the whole movie.

When our old TV finally died this year we started shopping around for a new when we came across this Olevia 37" and I am so glad that we did. It has an excellent value for it's price, I purchased mine for 699.00 but have saw them on sale for as low as $549.00 you just have to shop around. The picture and sound is outstanding, I really can't see why anyone would want to purchase a more expensive version when this one has it all. The exceptional video,audio,and price, should impress almost everyone. Some people mentioned the source delay as a con but to me that's not really that big a deal. I can easily wait two or three extra seconds. But I would rather the manual came in a book instead of the CD.

Like a lot of people I love candles of all shapes sizes and types. But soy candles are some of my favorites just for the fact that they are longer burner so you get more for your money.

*How they are made To put it simply candles are either made from soy, vegetable or paraffin wax. That has been melted down either in a wax melter or presto pot, colored, scented, and poured into a mold or a heat safe container.
Once you learn how candles are not all that diffacult to make but it is very messy and you can end up spending a lot of money on supplies. As a hobby it can be very expensive and does require many hours of testing to ensure that you are putting out a safe product.

*Contrary to what some people would have you believe paraffin candles don't cause cancer. (Believe me the government has tested them) Those scare tactics were started by people to sell their own product by bashing someone else's. In the long run this kind of behavior hurts more than it...

Have you ever laid awake at night unable to sleep because your skin was so dry and itchy that you just couldn't stand it? I purchased the Urban Rebounder about a year and a half ago. One of the first things that attracted me to it was the claims about how sturdy it is. I'd tried cheaper versions in the past and wasn't impressed by them. Most of them felt unsafe because after a short time the springs would start breaking. So I felt with the higher price and warranty on the rebounder I was getting a better product. After all you usually do get what you pay for. When it arrived I was at first very pleased with it, it seemed to be very sturdy and did give a nice aerobic workout. I quickly adjusted to the tightness of it's bounce and did away with the handle, for me it just seemed to get in the way. Although I'm sure that it would be very helpful for an older person. I have a lot of work-out equipment and very little time so the rebounder didn't get used all that much. Anyway one day while jumping on it I looked down and noticed that the mat was starting to unravel. Which seemed a little odd...

I rented The Illusionist at the same time as The Prestige and have to say that of the two it's much better. It's still not as good as The Count Of Monte Cristo but comes very close. In fact it's so good I could easily watch it again, which if you know me means a lot since I will almost never watch a movie more than once. In movie which takes place I believe in the early 1900's in Vienna. Eisenheim ,(Edward Norton) is a mysterious stage magician who comes from poor roots but falls in love with an upper class girl named Sophie(Jessica Biel) whom he knew from childhood. Inspector Uhl (Giamatti) is the police inspector who is out to discredit Eisenheim. He manages to play this character in a way so that you still like him even though you are rooting for Eisenheim the whole time. Crown Prince Leopold (Sewell) is an evil prince with a history of violence towards women who wants to marry Sophie to further his political career. The result is a love triangle with Giamatti's...

I've been a member of amazon prime for about a year now which means that for $79.00 a year you receive free two day shipping. That might seem like a lot of money but if you do a lot of online shopping during the year the shipping charges really add up. Even if you're like me and always try and find free shipping. One of the really great things about amazon is their huge selection. If you're looking for something in most cases you will find right here on amazon. In fact they have a lot of stuff that you won't find anywhere else. I'd been trying for sometime to find the first star wars lego game for gamecube. At a reasonable price when it finally occurred to me to check amazon. The price on ebay was outrageous, but I a found a seller on amazon who had it for around $5 and the shipping was so fast I had it within 4 days. Now that's what I call good service!
