KSethi78 says "I can communicate with my baby so much better!" about Two Little Hands Signing Time DVDs

Wow! I love the entire Signing Times series! My daughter is 13 months old now and can sign for most of her needs already. We've had tremendous success with potty training because she can sign for potty when she has to go and it has helped her alert me even though she can't talk yet. A potty trained 13 month old!

She also had really bad bouts of screaming when she couldn't get her way or communicate her needs to us before. She threw tantrums on a daily basis. Since Signing Times she's seems to be much calmer and I can gently remind her to use a sign when she's frustrated instead of screaming. That alone is worth any price!

My daughter thinks Rachel, Alex and Leah are her friends. She looks forward to seeing them on the television screen every day. Highly recommended!
...

KSethi78 says "My daughter would give this a 5 star rating herself!" about Britax Regent

We love this carseat! We had the Britax infant carseat as well and noticed that our daughter cried a lot when we put her in it. She has stopped crying in the car altogether now that we have changed her into this carseat. Not only is it forward facing, but it also allows her to sit upright and see where she's going as well as look out the window. Some of the other carseats that we've tried out didn't allow her to sit as upright. She definitely prefers that position. If you have a fussy car rider, try this carseat. It will change the way your kid thinks of the car!
...

KSethi78 says "14 hour flight with a 9 month old? Piece of cake!" about Continental Airlines

I recently used Continental Airlines to go non-stop to India (thats a fourteen hour flight!!!!!) with my nine month old daughter. I was flying alone. The stewardesses on the plane were so friendly and helpful! My daughter didn't cry or fuss once the entire way there because of the amount of love and attention the crew of the plane showered on her. the crew made sure my baby bottles were cleaned for me, that other passengers respected our space, that we got a bassinet seat and that my needs were met as a sole travelling parent. I will never go to India again, but I will definitely use Continental!
...

KSethi78 says "Budget Brushing at its best! Love the Vitality Electric!" about Oral-B Vitality Electric Toothbrush

The Oral-B Vitality Electric Toothbrush is the best toothbrush I've ever used. Granted, I haven't used them all and there may be better ones out there, but I completely challenge you to find one for the same price and value that works as well as this one does! I've been using this brush for three years now and have had many chances to switch to ones that are "better" but I don't think I'll ever want to.

Some of the best features on this besides the price are that its rechargable. No more fiddling with batteries on handheld electric tooth brushes. Its also lightweight and portable.

Highly recommended!
...

KSethi78 says "Wii addiction is a serious thing!" about Nintendo Wii Console

I love my Wii. I have lost 10 pounds since January on my Wii Fit. Since my husband and I had our daughter a year ago, we hardly have time to go out anymore and the Wii gives us something fun and interactive we can do at night instead of going out. We also love that we can invite our friends over for bowling or racing. Love this console and would recommend it even if it cost more!
...

KSethi78 says "stops leaks and saves the world!" about Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers

LOOOOVE this product. Seventh Generation diapers make me feel less bad about using disposable diapers once in a while. We used them recently while we travelled and were so relieved to see that they worked just as well to prevent reddness and diaper rashes as our cloth diapers do. We will definitely buy more of these whenever we need to use a disposable again!
...

KSethi78 says "Nothing spectacular" about Carter's Brand Baby Clothing

So carter's is the brand of clothing that most ppl gift our little daughter. Almost all of her clothes tend to be Carter's. I know that a lot of other people like this brand but we find it to be a little fuddy duddy and old fashioned looking. While they are durable and well made, the styles are just awful. Nothing modern looking or different at all. We like the clothes we put on our daugther to look a little bit edgy, modern, different and a lot more gender neutral than Carter's. Most of the girl's clothing says horrible things on it like "princess", "pretty", "Daddy's girl", etc. all in pink. While the boy's line says things like "Tough Guy", and has pictures of either a tractor trailer, or a lion/bear on it in blue or green. Very gendered. Again, some folks insist on that stuff, we'd rather give it away as fast as we get it!
...

KSethi78 says "Nothing better than this bottle" about Dr. Browns Regular 8oz Bottles 3 Pk.

The entire Dr. Browns bottle line is amazing. The nipples aren't too huge, don't interfere with breast-feeding, and are environmentally friendleir than a lot of the standard bottles out there. I love the glass bottles best because the milk heats up faster and the bottles get much cleaner than plastic.
...

Fell apart in about 3 weeks. It worked great before that! I ended up getting a regular heavy duty kitchen brush from Bed Bath and Beyond and use that instead. Anything made specifically for baby bottles seems to be kinda flimsy.
...
