KIRWIN12 says "Soft and smells good - makes laundry a bit nicer" about Bounce Dryer Bar

Usually I use liquid fabric softner on a limited basis to save my septic system. I don't care for the dryer sheets. This is a perfect solution. I could barely pull my nose away from my winter "jammies" when I took them out of the dryer. The only problem I encoutered is that the sticky backing doesn't hold too well. It is nice to have it bounce around and fluff up the clothes anyway.
...

KIRWIN12 says "Limited only by your imagination - easy to use even for me!!!" about Brother Pacesetter ULT2003D

A Christmas gift that keeps on giving. My husband bought this for me after trying a different embroidery machine with limited field. He has never regretted this splurge for one moment. I have made many a gift which translates into savings and even made my first granddaughter's christening bonnet something she will have to treasure all her life. This is truly a gem - easy to use and worth it's weight in gold. Quickly changes from sewing to embroidery, to buttonholes, to quilting, etc. Doesn't take up much space. Easy to use for both beginner and experienced seamstress. I love the overcast function which virtually eliminates the need for a serger. Additional supplies can be purchased making it even more versitile than original. The disney built in embroidery designs are an added plus and a true treat for Disney fanatics of all ages. This machine not only creates garments, it creates a lifetime of memories.
...

KIRWIN12 says "Can't go wrong for the price" about Kitchen Gourmet Rice Cooker

I bought a more expensive name-brand rice cooker after a trip to Hawaii. I returned it after buying this for $5.99 at Walgreens. It works just as good if not better than the name brand. My rice comes out perfect every time and considering my husband would eat rice every day - three times a day - this says alot. After cooking the rice, it automatically switches to warm which is a great feature. By purchasing rice in bulk and long grain versus instant rice, you save not only money but the uncooked rice is a healther alternative for you. This is a double benefit and bonus. The bowl is clearly marked for water amount and there is a special measuring cup for rice. The ease of use is totally amazing and virtually ahrd to get wrong. With this economical and handy little cookers, rice becomes a snap for anyone and everyone. HOw can you go wrong for the bargain price and ease of funciton????
...

KIRWIN12 says "Paint and Primer together that actually works" about Behr Premium Plus Ultra Interior Paint

I was skeptical about using the Behr paint with primer but due to time constraints (OK and lack of patience) decided to give it a shot on a recent bathroom makeover. After spending two months of stripping wallpaper which did not want to come off, my patience was wearing thin and I did not (nor was I willing) to spend a great deal of time painting if I didn't have to. Usually I am a Benjamin Moore girl so trying Behr Ultra was going againts the grain. I am so glad that I took this leap of faith and giave it a shot.

My husband is grateful that I did. We chose a seafoam green paint to cover over the white which was under the wallpaper. The paint covered completely in one coat with no color bleed or show through at all. This product, although a little more expensive than I usually spend, was worht the price. It not only saved money (eliminating the need to purchase a separate primer) but turned out to be a real time saver!!!
...

KIRWIN12 says "OMG - Quality is super even for the novice" about Nikon - D90 Digital Camera

I "retired" my 35mm film camera several years ago in favor of the instant gratification of digital. After purchasing and using several point and shoot digital cameras, I decided to splurge on the Nikon D90. I have not regretted a single second of it. The photos are almost professional quality. I have not shot less than 100 photos at any given time. With 7 grandchildren, I needed something that would enable me to take as many photos as I could. This camera is comparible if not better in every single aspect as my old 35mm camera. The fact that you can purchase additional lenses and fiters will keep this functions fresh and exciting for many years to come. There are several automatic settings for quick perfect photos and manual override for professional experimentation.

This camera makes me look like a pro!!!! Can't wait to explore many more of the features this wonderful piece of equipment has to offer.
...

KIRWIN12 says "Fast and Furious - lasts forever" about Bunn Bunn-O-Matic

After going through a coffee maker a year, I splurged on the Bunn-O-Matic. It has been 3 years now and this thing just keeps me supplied with my "fix". I average 2-3 pots of coffee a day and it works just as good as the day I bought it. The hot water reservoir keeps water ready for a moment's notice. To save energy we have been shutting this off after the last pot of the day. It only takes about 10 minutes to warm up which isn't really all that bad considering it only takes about 3 minutes to brew an entire pot. The warming plate keeps the coffee fresh and hot. Speaking of hot, I have never experienced a cup of coffee that comes out as hot as with this machine. I have tried probably every coffee maker on the market and Bunn wins hands down for quality. It is definitely worth the additional expense for a true coffee conesieur.

I put it on, go the bathroom and enjoy a cup - nothing comes close to the quality or the speed!

No wonder restaurants use it!
...

KIRWIN12 says "Gets you in the area but keep a map as back-up" about Navigon 2100 GPS Navigator

"Computer Lady" will get you in the area but falls a little short for the exact destination. When going to my sister's house it told me to take a right after I passed the street. It also told me my destination was on the left when I was pulling into the driveway on the right. However, in her defense, she has gotten us around unfamiliar areas with few problems and recalculated routes with minimal effort. All in all worth the investment.
...

KIRWIN12 says "Energy and timesaver - what's not to love?" about GE MicrowaveOven - JE1590

We purchased this when our microwave died a year ago. Keeping in mind the rising cost of gas and electricity, we figured this would serve double duty. Instead of heating up our large oven, we use this 95% of the time. We use it to "nuke" food, heat coffee, popcorn and the usual things a microwave is used for. But the bonus is we use this versatile oven for everything from cooking a roast beef to baking the brownies for dessert. It does not heat the entire house, cooks in less time and everything comes out perfect. A 6 cup cupcake pan and small brownie pan fit perfectly. It also has a rack so you can bake a 2 layer cake! This oven literally does it all! ...

Got this phone as an upgrade and on special and it was worth it. It is small enough to carry in a pocket or evening bag but has all the bells and whistles one needs. The GPS system has come in very handy many times and is nice when you need one and aren't driving and the camera has been a lifesaver when I've forgotten mine. I only wish it could interact with Outlook - then my life would be complete!

Definitely a thumbs up.
...
