KARLA1B4 says "I'll take my Maggie over TomTom anyday" about TomTom - N14644

I recently bought a new GPS since my Magellan died on our last vacation. We decided to buy a TOmTom this time since we have a couple of friends and relatives who have one and they love it. We were going down to Miami for a race and decidied to buy the TOmTom after seeing an ad in the paper it was on sale. Since I was use to the Magellan the Tom Tom seemed to be a little more complicated in how to get it to work. We were able to get to our hotel but the voice on the Tom Tom never said the street name to tun on it would say turn in 20 yards. Anyway we decided to go to a restaurant 4 miles from the hotel. Because we were in downtown Miami witha lot of highrise buildings the satalite on the Tom Tom did not work. It continuosly froze and needless to say we did not make it to the restaurant but had to go to another one instead. It was very frustrating and I do not recommend this GPS device.
...

KARLA1B4 says "Use the Magellan and you will never be lost" about Magellan - Maestro 4000 GPS Navigation System

What can I say if you were to blindfold me turn me around a couple of times and then unblindfold me I would be lost. My friends make fun of me because I live in Boca and sometimes I still have to ask them how to get somewhere. We bought the Magellan last year before our vacation. We travel to Pennsylvania every year and on the way from there to home we stop along the way. I am an okay map reader and usually my husband does all of the driving and I am the navigator. What a pleasant surprise when we plugged in our destination to Maggie (that is our nickname for the Magellan) and she directed us to our destination. Not only did she reroute us when there were detours but she got us there in the quickest time. I use the Magellan not only when I am travelling but also when I am driving locally especially when I have to drop my kids off at different friends houses. I plug in the address and it takes me to their door. Buying the Magellan was the best investment we could make now I can......

KARLA1B4 says "If you have furry pets you need Dyson." about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

My Dyson vacuum cleaner is the best. I am the owner of two dogs a Chow Chow and a Samoyed. Bothe of these dogs have long coats that love to shed 365 days a year. My house is all tile and wood floors except for the occasional throw rug. My Dyson picks up every week enough fur to make me a floor length coat. The suction from the Dyson never stops. I like the fact that the Dyson is a bagless vacuum cleaner, and that when you empty the canister you do not have to touch the contents of what is inside the canister. The tools that my Dyson came with are also great they do a great job removing fur from the furniture and curtains. My house would be one big fur pile if I did not have the Dyson. I have used other vaccums before and none even come close to the Dyson. The Dyson may be pricey but I have had mine for 3 years now and with the other brands I had to buy a new one every year. This was the best investment ever. I would recommend this especially for pet owners.
...

KARLA1B4 says "e.l.f. concealer works just as well as others for half the cost." about e.l.f. Mineral Concealer

There is nothing more satisfying than applying make-up and seeing a natural transformation to beautiful skin. I started wearing mineral makeup a couple of years ago. I was tired of cream make-ups causing my skin to look oily and powders not giving me enough coverage. A friend emailed a link to the e.l.f. sight and I oredered make-up from them. I could not believe first of all the price of the products. What a deal. I was hesitant in ordering a lot so I ordered just basics. I was quite happy when my order arrived and even happier when I used the e.l.f. concealer. It went on and covered just as well as my previous brand for more than half the cost. I am hooked on e.l.f. products and would recommend them....

KARLA1B4 says "If you want long lasting color OPI nail color is for you." about O.P.I. Nail Lacquer

I have not found a better nail polish than OPI. This polish lasts on my hands two weeks and on my toes a month. I am very hard on my hands. I am in the medical field and I work with patients on a daily basis. My hands are constantly being washed and are in contact with alcohol frequently. The OPI nail polish covers in the first coat but I use two. It glides on the nail well no clumping of this product. The choice of colors is the best and when they come out with their different collections there is always a variety to choose from. My favorites are the pinks and mauves but I have been known to go green and purple for various holidays. There is nothing better than having a nice manicure and pedicure especially living in South Florida where wearing flip flops, sandels or bare footing it is an everyday occasion. I also don't have that much time to devote to my hands and feet with a busy lifestlye so for me if I have to give myself a manicure once every two weeks and a...
...

KARLA1B4 says "I wish my boss was as funny as Michael in The Office" about The Office

What can I say The Office is a half hour of non-stop entertainment and laughter. When I am not home a TVO it so I can get my office fix. Some people may not get that sense of humor I know my husband does not and he often wonders why I am laughing so hard. Michaels antics in the office are insanely crazy. I think my all time favorite episode was when Michael was frying up bacon on his George Forman grill and he stepped on the grill and burnt his foot and he still wanted to come into the office and work but nobody wanted to pick him up except Dwight. The writers of the show have a great sense of humor and they keep the tv watcher wanting for more. The only drawback is it is only a half hour long show but it keeps you wanting for more....

KARLA1B4 says "A Samoyed's smile can brighten the dullest of rooms" about dog breed Samoyed

I recently lost my beloved Samoyed pet a couple of weeks ago. As I look back on my eleven years I had with him I remember a dog who always greeted me when I came home from work with the familiar Samoyed smile. What a beautiful companion he was inside and out. He was a great dog for our children who grew up with him. Always gentle with children and friendly. I sometimes thought that he was a human in his previous life. The only draw back to having a Samoyed is the fur. If you have allergies which I do the fur has to be brushed especially during winter and summer months when their coats thicken and thin. I tolerated my allergies because I was not willing to give up my boy. He is missed everyday and we will be getting another Samoyed in the future. They are a loyal breed. They can also get to be very big, our Samoyed was 85 pounds but he was 85 pounds of pure love and devotion.
...
