So I always thought that available balance meant that you had that much available. Not at US Bank. I had a that they appeared to clear and showed up as an available balance until 10 days later when my account suddenly showed up negative. I was sure that this was wrong so I went in to see what had happened. I guess that when I was doing my banking I forgot to sign the back of my check. Why I never got a call about this I am not sure. Instead they didn't contact me at all and every purchase from the time I deposited the check to now (11 days later) has got an overdraft charge on it in excess of 200 dollars in overdrafts and no contact at all. What ever happened to customer service. According to the people I have talked to about this customer service never existed at US Bank....
