JoSchmonthego says "Pro Flowers VS. Others-Valentines and other made up holidays" about ProFlowers.com

So, it's valentines again. The card manufacturers answer to a dull month for sales. Its too late to stop the hype about the holiday that has no grounding in any real history, much like sweetest day, grandparents day, bosses day, teacher day, secretarys day...the list is endless. Every year it seems one more day for cards and flowers pops up to line your wallet with unneccessary guilt.

Not that I am against holidays, and days of remembrance. No no no. I LOVE valentines day inparticular. What woman doesn't? Any day with an excuse to be wined and dined, guilt free chocolate, jewelery and flowers. Who wouldn't love that day? Which brings me to my point. Pro Flowers.Let me say it again...Pro Flowers. The name says it all, they are Pros.

I don't buy from anyone else anymore, I don't bother. I live an excruciating number of miles from my family and loved ones. My best friend is over 1000 miles away and my family further, so I am in the business of keeping online companies in business. The post...
...

JoSchmonthego says "Ugobe Animatronic Dinosaur, waste of money, waste of time." about PLEO DInosaur

So...last Christmas my daughter went absolutely GA GA over this Dino. She HAD to have it. It was the only thing on her list besides the pony she knows she can't have for the fact that we have no where but a garage to put it. Not that that deters her any. She is only seven and comes up with rather creative solutions. Hence her socks in the microwave to dry yesterday morning when I went to warm a cup of coffee.

But I digress. Back to Dino's. This toy is amazing. I am not saying it is anything but. Growing up in an age where we thought slinky and hoola-hoops were the bomb-digity and the rubic cube blew our minds this toy is fantastic. It comes in its own bright box, with tons of intstructions and a battery charger and its own little leafy food. After it is "born" (wakes up) supposidly it grows and changes each time you play with it. Learning new things. You can also hook your little friend up to the internet to download new things into it. Well either mine is lazy or...
...

JoSchmonthego says "No matter where you live, this is the shiznit for your floors" about Swiffer Sweep + Vac®

This product is a life saver, especially for those of us who move around a lot or tend to live in rentals/housing provided by the employer. These type of domiciles tend to come with tile or hard wood floors that get dusty, dirty, and show every speck of pet hair, etc. I love the ease of the swiffer vac. It just hangs on my wall waiting to be used, I just unplug and go. I have owned it for about two years now and it still does the whole house if I work quickly. (livingroom, bedroom, two baths, front hall, dining and kitchen). If my kid wants to help sometimes it needs a recharge between sides of the house as she tends to dawdle around the room, chasing down things she can see, rather then just doing the whole thing at once. But most times it is me, roaring around the room. I love that the pad picks up on things I dont see while I do the things I can see. Only problem is that lack of charge holding power. I do wish it would go atleast another ten minutes on a charge. Have to say though, for......

JoSchmonthego says "RUFF-MEOW-SQUAWK-Nothing licks pet schmutz like a Dyson" about Dyson Animal DC17 All Floor Vacuum

Dyson Dyson, whats in a name? Well if it is the owner of the Dyson product line, you are a well deserved millionaire. I wasn't sold at first. I disliked the man just for his cocky accent and ridiculous ads on the television. I tried a couple out, mostly friends that I would borrow for a few weeks but was never that impressed but Lord Almighty, the pet version of this product is everything it says it is and more. I borrowed my sisters and liked it immediately. It not only got the mini-kitten leave behinds from my partly-persion from beneath the bed it sucked up dog hair clumps from unseen places in my kitchen and made chicken-salad out of the seed and feather schmutz from the birds that seems to just blow around with other vacs and hand brooms. Easy to used, stores within itself, doesn't weigh ninty pounds to move about, has fantastic suction that honestly never declines. So vavooom to Dyson for such a cool product. And two nozzles up....

JoSchmonthego says "If you want to accentuate your fine lines and wrinkles...sure" about Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil

Yeah for minerals I said! Yeah for a product that isnt a greasy heavy cream or stick, or thick gloopy mess! It wont clot my pores, wont upset my delicate and allergic skin, will wash off easily, wont be messy...I had a thousand reasons I wanted this product! Wow, how I wanted this product.

I paid (the full price when it first came out I might ad) and anxiously awaited for the set to arrive. I paid the extra monies to have the (then) optional DVD of how to apply and use the product with it as well because frankly I have never been much of a makeup wearer. I am allergic to most things, especially anything in cream form, or anything with an oil/petrolium base, so my selection of this product was done very carefully and after speaking with a representative.

Now, mind you, I am no spring chicken, but I dont have definate wrinkles either, just the precurser of lines to the forehead, I dont even have laugh or smile lines. But boy did this product just set me up to look old.

I watched the video...
...

JoSchmonthego says "OOO doggies, it is smooth and good cold or warm" about Julius Echter Hefe- Weiss Premium

Warm you say? Who in their right mind drinks warm Beer? Well, hello, half the world does. I like some beers warm, some cold. Generally the rule is, made in the US, make it cold, made somewhere else? Try it luke warm. I find that chilling a nice full bodied beer makes the taste go, bye-bye. But try and drink budweiser warm. YUCK! I tend to like my beers with flavor and a few little floaties on the bottom, my husband calls them the "in brew snack". I tend to avoid them. But hey, to each his own.

This beer made me think of Germany and all the fun times I had there drinking from das boot, and how many rounds I had to buy cause I just couldnt keep from making it bubble! Hefe weissen was my drink of choice but on a cold winter day there was nothing better then a thick, full-a-floaties dunkle weisse. (dark beer)

So, for anyone who likes flavor, needs a beer with a headier taste that is still smooth and generally floaty free, this is the beer for you!...And me, if you are buyin just give me...
...

JoSchmonthego says "Love to send, hate to pay for" about 1-800-Flowers.com

Love the quality of the plants and flowers that arrive from this florist. They always last a long time or live and thrive after getting them delivered. It for the most part is delivered ontime or if not, there is always a good reason. Living far from any of my relatives I resort to sending plants/flowers/gifts quite often during the year to let them know I am thinking about them.

I have only one problem...does a five dollar plant really have to cost fourty?

You tell me who's making money on my guilt.
...

JoSchmonthego says "I love to hate this beast of a machine-But adore it really" about Keys Fitness Alliance Series Treadmill

So, you think you are fat. Embarassed to exercise outside? Been teased, stared at, commented about, laughed at? Hate the gym with the perfect people all glowing beautifully and not looking like they are dieing from making it from the changing room to the weight floor? Yeah, yeah, I understand, I do. And whats the solution? HOME WORK OUT EQUIPMENT.

So, we all have seen the infomercials for thigh reducers, magical sitting sit-up-do-hickies and things you lay down on that do the work for you. "It is like the pounds magicly fall off!" We have all heard the pretty people talk about their weight loss when you know deep down that they had a hot fudge sundae for breakfast and never have had to do more exercise then signing fat checks for being on tv. So to the truth of the matter, we buy the workout equipment, and what do we do with it? We look at it, it guilts us, so we cover it with clothing, blankets, use it as a drying rack, hide it in the spare room. I even have a...
...

JoSchmonthego says "Great service, live people who speak english, patience and help" about USAA Banking and Insurance

We not only have the USAA Auto insurance we also have the Renters Insurance as well because being in the military we move around so much and honestly, if you have ever had military movers, you understand the need for insurance. Not only that, but if you look at where most Army posts are you will see that they are in tornado, hurrican, tsunami and earthquake land. And just knowing that if we are robbed, there is a fire, or any kind of misfortune with our cars, we are covered is a wonderful feeling.

We live in a state/city with huge car insurance (it jumped over a hundred dollars when we moved here). So I went scoping out other insurance, guess what? None were as competitively priced for what you get.

Not only that, I am glad we stayed. We recently found out why the car insurance is so high around our new residence when a late night visitor took out the window in my husbands brand new car (parked two feet from our garage under a light) to get to his Ipod and phone. Thank God we had USAA renters...
...

JoSchmonthego says "Ouchie Mama" about Banana Boat Ultra Mist KIDS Tear Free SPF50

Its always lovely here in Florida, even in the winter and that is my problem. I am middle aged, semi red-headed, freckled. In other words, sun intollerant. Hence, my use of childrens' sunscreens. The latest I tried was the Banaba Boat brand for children in the ultra mist. Which was a sought after feature because a lot of the time when I am needing to use the sunscreen I am alone. And in this respect I thought I was on the right track breaking from my usual "pink bottle" which tends to make me break out, but does keep me from being burned. My mistake.

It began sunday morning when the usual whining to be taken to the community pool burst from my daughter, which means that I have to either sit under an umbrella (for lack of shade poolside) or grease myself up like the highly sought after pig at the county fair.I decided to go with greased and swim for a change to my daughters delight and utter astonishment. I used the Banana Boat Kids SPF 50 Ultra Fine Mist that morning....
...
