Jessalyn says "Expect poor service, installation, and being treated nasty." about Sound of Sunrise - Lauderhill, FL

I called this location yesterday to advise of a problem I was having with my alarm system that was installed there (mind you, they've had to fix it 2-3 times since it has been installed because they do a poor job). The elder man that works there told me they open at 9am on Saturday. I advised that the car would be brought before 10am. Upon my arrival, the instant I opened the door, I was looked at with the most angry face by this elder man. I made my way to the counter and advised about the phone call the previous day. He immediately raised his voice and started yelling at me that I had a 9am appointment, which I did not. He pointed to the window and says "What am I supposed to do? I have all these cars here! You were supposed to be here at 9am!" then continued on and on about how much of an idiot I am. I don't know if he did this because I am female, but I've never had a man yell at me and berate me in a place of business like this in front of two other customers who were sitting...
...

Jessalyn says "Big Brother is watching..." about 1984

George Orwell's 1984 is the most compelling and interesting novel I have ever read. This book was assigned to me while I was in high school and then again in college. I was so happy to see them choose an excellent book such as this, where I can take the time to read it again and be faced with the horrifying feeling that the situations expressed in this book could be happening in front of our eyes. If you are a fan of Animal Farm, which was also an excellent book that focuses on the government, then this book should be next for you to read. This book has everything. You will be confused as to who the good and the bad are (in regards to people and the government). You will also be exposed to Big Brother (which could be a person or just the government in itself, you would have to read to get the full effect) who watches every move you make through your television and cameras throughout the city. You will feel insecure as to who you could trust and if the government should be trusted at all......

Jessalyn says "Exercise your hands and have fun!" about Nintendo Wii Console

This definitely won't be an uber-high tech review of the Wii, nor will it be extremely comprehensive...
I have both the Wii and the PS3. Haven't touched the PS3 in 2 weeks or so, however, I can't get enough of the Wii.

I've always been a huge Nintendo fan because the type of games that are released. I feel that the interaction and fun factor of Nintendo has always been a positive point for me which makes their systems stand out from the rest. I don't need the super processing speed or graphics amazement, I need to feel like I can't put the controller down because the games are involving, addicting, and overall fun. With the PS3 (and 360), I end up getting bored too quickly. Most of the 360 games are basically the same concept. Nintendo's creativity supercedes the other gaming systems, IMO.

I was a bit skeptical about the design of the controller. A long cable holding together two different controls wasn't appealing to me, however, I was curious about the motion gaming.

To my surprise, it was...
...

Jessalyn says "Exciting interactive show and dinner. A can't miss!" about Medieval Times

Ever wonder what it felt like to be placed in the earlier times where people would crowd in an arena and watch men duel, somewhat like in the movie Gladiator? Now is the chance to watch this live action and very entertaining show!
Medieval Times is an excellent restaurant as well as a live entertainment source. When visiting Medieval Times, the setting and atmosphere are reminiscent of the medieval days. There is a museum you can walk through before the show begins, which shows the chambers and jails of earlier times. Once entering the main building, you are handed a crown with distinct colors representing your team. In my case, I was the Red and Yellow team. The arena is divided into sections for each team and you are seated on a long bench next to other strangers. Before the show begins, you are greeted at your seating by your slave. He will make sure you call him Slave! :) He will ask what drinks you would like before the food is served. The food is exquisite and hearty. You will more...
...

Jessalyn says "Mario is at it again!" about Nintendo Wii - Super Paper Mario

Super Paper Mario has stepped it up a notch from the predecessor on the Gamecube. The graphics have improved and the gameplay is more enjoyable. Mixing it in with the functionality of the Wii controllers makes this game a blast! The Wii-mote is held sideways for old school style gameplay. You can switch amongst different characters, different Pixls which assist the characters, and between 2-D and 3-D. The premise is entertaining as Bowser and Princess Peach both get kidnapped by Count Bleck. So it's not the usual us against Bowser as in most Mario games.
The game is definitely worth buying, just for the entertainment factor alone!
...

Jessalyn says "Amazing phone, has everything needed in one!" about T-Mobile - Dash Cell Phone

Being an owner of the Sidekick 2 and 3, I decided it was time for a change. The Sidekick was limited in apps I could install due to a less common OS. What initially drew me to the T-Mobile Dash was a combination of a Windows Mobile Smartphone and the design. Why do I have such a thing for Windows Mobile? The advantages of such an OS are that software availability and programmers are much more common and there's almost an unlimited amount of software you can choose from - free and pay. I've already installed many apps on my phone and am so glad I made the switch.
It takes some time getting used to the QWERTY keyboard because the keys are much closer together than that of my old Sidekick. But with time and practice, one can get the hang of it. At first, you'll be pressing buttons you didn't intend to press.

The camera is superb. Not only does it take high quality pictures, but you can also film video clips on there too!

Grab your favorite MP3 and transfer it over to make it your ringtone.
