JenniferCossel says "The Samsung SGH-T819 is a great phone for the budget minded." about Samsung - SGH-T819 Cell Phone

The Samsung SGH-T819 is a great sliding screen phone for the budget minded consumer. I have been with T-Mobile for several years and when I can I take advantage of the phone upgrades that they offer (with the extension of the service contract). I do not like to pay for cell phones but I love to get them with a rebate offer or for free if possible. This phone is very simple and does not have all the bells and whistles that many touch screen phones have...and I like that! All I want is to take pictures of my daughter, make calls and text my friends...that is it. And that is what I am able to do well with this phone. Also, it has a stylish coffee brown color and a sliding screen feature. I prefer the sliding screen feature over a flip phone design because I have had the hinges on flip phones break and crack in the past. I would encourage anyone who wants a simple and cost effective phone to check this one out at T-Mobile.
...

JenniferCossel says "Take a pass on Almay "Clear Complexion" Pressed Powder..boo hoo." about Almay Clear Complexion Pressed Powder

I am very sad to report that I am completely disappointed with the Almay "Clear Complexion" Pressed Powder that I purchased recently. This line of pressed powders comes in three shades and I purchased the very lightest Ivory shade you can get (I am so very pale...even in August). I have always been a fan of the Almay line of cosmetics and their products have worked very well for me in the past. They also have several lines of products that contain "natural ingredients" and they have a beautifully designed website to shop from. Unfortunately, I had to return the "Clear Complexion" Pressed Powder that I purchased because it actually caused more irritation to my skin than it helped to relieve. Also, the surface of the pressed powder became shiny after just a few uses and I was unable to get any product onto the applicator to use. I am hoping that my experience was only a fluke and that in the future I have better luck with Almay's line of products but I would certainly not purchase this particular...
...

JenniferCossel says "The Graco Swing in Cherry Blossom is fun for baby and for mom." about Graco "Lovin' Hug" - Infant Swing - Cherry Blossom

The Graco "Lovin'-Hug" - Infant Swing in Cherry Blossomis a beautiful and useful baby item for any new mom. Although my little girl has finally grown out of using hers she had many an afternoon of rocking and snoozing in this wonderful infant swing. I received this swing from my aunt as a baby shower gift and she purchased it through Babies R Us on-line and I also own the matching stroller and infant car seat. The design of the fabric for this line of baby products is very popular and goes well with the decor of any little girl's nursery. I have been very satisfied with the quality of the product and how long the batteries last in the swing even with a good deal of use. The swing takes several D sized batteries so you should keep that in mind when you purchase this product...you will also need a pack of batteries as well. I have also found that the swing is easy to assemble, to wash and to move from room to room. The infant swing can also fold to be stored in a closet but it is difficult...
...

JenniferCossel says "Kitchen Aid makes a quality, long lasting stand mixer." about KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer (Cobalt Blue)

My KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer (Cobalt Blue) is probably the highest quality kitchen appliance that I own. I was glad that I was able to get this particular stand mixer because I used to be a professional cake decorator and now I make cakes for friends and family out of my home kitchen. I could not make my cakes or homemade frostings without the use of this versatile and convienient stand mixer. I have used it in a variety of ways over the last few years and it has never let me down. I use it to make mashed potatoes, pizza dough, baked goods, frostings and cookie dough. The quality of this stand mixer is evident to me because I have never had to do anything but wipe down the surface of the mixer and it always performs no matter what I am baking or cooking. Kitchen Aid offers a variety of colors for their mixers and many are so beautiful. My new favorite is the breast cancer awarness mixers that come in the pastel pink color. Although I would never give up the mixer that I have I...
...

JenniferCossel says "A terrific beginners pilates workout DVD." about Pilates Beginning Mat Workout (GAIAM)

I have been using the GAIAM Pilates Beginning Mat Workout DVD for about three months. I did a number on my lower back in my ballet class earlier this spring (2009) and decided to make sure I was ready for the class when it started back up in the fall. Pilates is a great core strengthening and abdominal strengthening exercise routine. This beginning work out video features Ana Caban, a ballet dancer and pilates instructor, who walks you through the basics of the Pilates workout in a simple and easy to understand way. I have had experience with Pilates, originated by Joseph Pilates, so it was easy for me to catch on to the controlled movements but for others who haven't done Pilates before there is a modified version of each movement demonstrated by a student "Tara" on the DVD. I certainly found the DVD to be worth the price and when done consistently could be a valuable asset in your weekly exercise regime. It is also very helpful to have a yoga mat for this DVD as you will spend most...
...

The Aveeno Active Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner product line are a great way for a busy mom to treat dry or sun damaged/chlorine damaged hair. I have spent a great deal of time this week at the pool with my kids and I wanted to try and new shampoo and conditioner that would help with my dry scalp, dry hair and chlorine damage. The Aveeno Active Naturals "Nourish+Moisturize" or "Nourish+Soothe" options are a great way to revive your hair after the summer has taken its toll. Being very value conscious, I wanted to try the product before I bought it and so I requested a free sample from aveeno.com, which was an easy way to try the product and see if it was what I wanted. I also received a coupon with my free sample towards my purchase. I would recommend anyone head over to their website and see what kind of coupons or samples you can find because the Aveeno product line is wonderful. I also enjoyed the fragrance of lavender and peppermint in the shampoo. The shampoo/conditioner contains...
...

The Compaq Presario V6000 is a great laptop for students or for a home office user. I purchased my laptop in 2007 and I have been nothing but pleased with its performance. It is also a great value for your money. I have used my laptop for my online coursework, for organizing digital media (i.e.: digital photos and videos) and for the everyday online activities such as email, FaceBook, etc. I purchased the basic package but have found that it has still met my needs as a student and general online computer user. Some upgrading to the processor and graphics capabilities would be needed if someonewere interested in doing online gaming or using any heavy duty graphic design/digital imaging software on this laptop. I have also found that this laptop travels well and I have taken it on two trips since I started online courses. On both of these trips I had no issues with the laptop and was able to complete my homework even while I was out of town.
...

JenniferCossel says "Lexmark Z2420, a good printer for occasional home office use." about Lexmark Inkjet Z2420

My husband purchased my Lexmark Inkjet Z2420 printer for me after my HP all-in-one printer broke right in the middle of writing a paper. I was frantic and he went to the store and purchased this quickly without much opportunity to compare and contrast different brands and models. There are definite pros and cons to this printer. The pros are that it is easy to install and use, small size/fits anywhere, is WIFI capable, prints quickly and with a good quality image and Lexmark has a great recycling program for your used ink cartridges. Some of the cons are that it does use a lot of ink compared to my old HP printer. I print regularly for my on-line courses and have found myself running low on ink on a regular basis and I have had a few technical issues with the WIFI capability resulting in my just going back to using the USB cord so I don't have to mess with it. All-in-all a good computer for the occasional home office printing.
...

JenniferCossel says "Rival's Stoneware Slow Cooker is great for busy moms!" about Rival Rival Stoneware Slow Cooker

I am not quite sure how my family would get a home cooked dinner if I didn't have my Rival Stoneware Slow Cooker. I have upgraded from the small version to a larger version with a timer and "auto shut-off/warming" feature. I find this feature very handy when I am running errands or have a busy day planned and want to prepare dinner in the cooker in the morning before I leave. When I was working full time I would often put together a dinner in the slow-cooker the night before and then just keep the stoneware part in the fridge overnight. In the morning I would put it in the cooker section, turn it on and be on my way with dinner waiting when I returned from work. I often prepare large roasts, meatballs, pork chops and various other dishes in this slow cooker. For large groups I will usually put a homemade BBQ sauce together, pour it over a large pork roast and let it go for most of the day. When guests arrive the house smells yummy and everyone can dig in...works great for big crowds.
...

The Medela "Swing" Breast Pump is a single electric breast pump. It is a great value for a young family that plans to feed breast milk to their baby. I had difficulty with breastfeeding when I had my daughter and this breastpump allowed me to continue breastfeeding when I wanted to "just give up." I was not employed outside the home at the time and so the single electric pump was an appropriate choice for our needs and budget. For a mom that would be returning to work it would be a good idea to look into the double electric breast pumps by Medela. I continued to use this pump for the majority of my daughter's first year and we would recommend it to anyone. Some of the advantages are its small size, portability, carrying case, easy use and effectiveness. My pediatrician recommended purchasing an electric breast pump, when my daughter was born, and I am glad that I did because of the time it saves. There are also quite a few quality products (bottles, cleaning products) that coordinate with...
...

The new Suave Naturals product line that includes the Wild Cherry Blossom products (shampoo, conditioner and body wash, etc.)are worth trying for their great price and fragrance. I have just recently purchased the shampoo and conditioner and they are well fragranced, but not overpowering. I love the new packaging that Suave has created along with the great prices for all of the products they offer. Suave is currently running a promotional email for their website: showeryourselfbeautiful.com. This promotional offer allows you to see all of the new product and fragrances that they have come out with as well as the opportunity to win prizes andenter a grand prize drawing to meet Holly Robinson Peete along with receiving other valuable prizes. This website is where I first heard about the new line of products from Suave, which included the Wild Cherry Blossom shampoo and conditioner. In fact, when I am done with this review I will be going to take a shower and use my new products...hurray!...
...

This program is tailor made for working professionals, busy parents and really anyone who would like to improve their skills and move up in their career in human resources. I am currently enrolled in the G-HRM certificate program and have enjoyed the support, training and professionalism that the University of Phoenix has provided me. My current career goals include the completion of a PHR certification through HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute), an affiliate of SHRM, and then acquiring a full time position as an HR generalist with an organization here in my local area. The course work has included topics such as managerial communication skills, employment and labor law issues in the workplace and organizational training and development topics.
