JeannetteDavis says "The only gaming system my children are allowed to play." about VTech V.Smile TV Learning System

I don't want my children to be couch potatoes, so I had already planned a ban on video games for them for as long as possible. A couple years ago, my mother bought the V-Smile for my children for Christmas because it is educational. Knowing that I want my children to be familiar with technology and knowing that children learn visually, I thought that I would let them give this game a try. They love it and so do I!! The games are interesting and have good graphics. The characters are some of their favorites, and the activities are age appropriate. I wasn't sure if they would have a hard time using the controller or putting in the games since they were only 3 and 4, but they picked up very quickly on how to do it all. It does eat through batteries, so when we got the adapter for it, that was a great help!! I wish that they made more games for it, but the kids like the ones that they have so far. When they are playing on their V-Smile, I know that it is educational......

JeannetteDavis says "Who knew my carpet was so gross?!" about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

We bought this vacuum last spring with our tax refund and we absolutely love it! We tried it out right after vacuuming with our Hoover, and we were stunned at what it picked up from a freshly vacuumed floor. I use the attachments for my curtains, furniture, walls/corners/ceilings, and even my ceiling fans. I can't imagine having a different vacuum now. Well worth the money....
