<title>JCareyB says "Benefits worth more than the fee" about Chase - Marriott Rewards Visa Signature Card</title>
      <link>http://www.viewpoints.com/Chase-Marriott-Rewards-Visa-Signature-Card-review-8f351</link>
<description>Visa Signature cards already have a wide variety of benefits; car rental insurance, warranty protection plans, higher credit limits, etc. but these come with every Visa Signature card. &amp;mdash; &amp;mdash; What sets the Chase - Marriott Premier Visa Signature apart is two things; higher earnings in selected areas, and an annual free night (which usually more than makes up for the annual $65 fee). &amp;mdash; &amp;mdash; When you use the card to pay for dining, car rentals, or airline tickets, you earn double Marriott points (which can be redeemed for rooms, converted to miles [not a great conversion rate], or used to get room/mile packages [good conversion rate, almost 1:1, but remember you may have earned them at a 2:1 rate!]). &amp;mdash; &amp;mdash; On acceptance, you'l get a cert good for a free night at any Marriott class1-4 hotel. <link>http://www.viewpoints.com/American-Express-Starwood-Hotels-Credit-Card-review-cd3c1</link>
<description>One of two known cards that let you earn &gt;1 mile/point per dollar spent. Well, to be truthful, you do earn only one point per dollar spent on regular purchases. The advantage that moves this to 1.25 miles per dollar spent is when you redeem for frequent flyer miles in 20,000 point increments. At that redemption level Amex moves 25,000 miles into the slected frequent flyer account. Other highly worthwhile advantages to the card are a reasonable annual fee, and the warranty extension offer. All purchases made using the card get their warranty doubled up to one additional year, at no add'l charge. We've successfully and painlessly replaced microwaves, vacumn cleaners, and expensive coffee machines using this program, making up the annual card fee for many years to... </description>
