My lease was up on my 2003 Jeep Liberty, which I loved and was my first venture out of a car. It suited me well, but I was ready to move to something a LITTLE bigger. I'm still a bit of a whimp when driving a big truck - so this seemed like the next logical step.

My mind was set on a Nissan Murano. That is, until I found that the options I was looking for - leather, power/heated seats, etc was going to cost me close to $40,000. Not what I was looking for. The Saturn XR came equipped with everything I was looking for for nearly $15,000 less.

The space in the Vue is also great! I have 2 "nieces" that are with me regularly. With that comes carseats and strollers - space is a necessity! The back seat leaves plenty of room and the trunk space is also very spacious. Room for groceries and what ever else ends up in the cart.

As the car is still on it's first tank of gas - I can't give an exact idea on the mileage - but is supposed to be about 23 to 25 mpg on the highway. Much...

I'm getting married. My fiance and I are having a destination wedding at Walt Disney World in October of 2008. We were looking to send out some cute, customized "save the date" cards without spending alot of money. A friend came up with a logo for our big day and I went looking for the best route to print these announcements.

VistaPrint has regularly sent me emails about their products, so I thought I would check them out. Much to my surprise, I was able to completely customize my announcement, and for 50 color, glossy invitations with matching envelopes, it cost me just over $60, inclusing shipping! Fantastic! I order them, and they are in my hands within a week!

I couldn't have asked for a better finished product for the cost. Overall, they came out exactly as I had designed them. I had a couple instances of smeared ink, but that was just the perfectionist in me.

I will definately order from them again.

As a person with a sensitive scalp, I find myself constantly changing my shampoo and conditioners. My head easily breaks out, and does not tolerate the average department/grocery store brand products. The vitamins and nutrients also help with split ends and overall strength of your hair. Best of all - there is no buildup, which tends to leave your hair looking dirty.

Alterna makes great a great line of hair care products that are top notch. They can be found in most salons (www.4alterna.com to locate a salon near you).

With a new home and clean, sparkling carpets....and a puppy, this is a must have. Gus was relatively trained before moving into our new place, however, a new place coupled with new schedules, accidents happen.

The SpotBot is a great help for both the surface and set in tougher stains. In fact, it almost reminds me of those info-mercials, you know the ones...Set it and Forget it. You can do just that with the SpotBot. It's a matter of simply filing the container with cleaning solution and water, placing the SpotBot over stain, then selecting surface or set in stain. It then does the cycle you selected and beeps when it's done and ready for the next spot.

I'll never buy one of those cans of cleaners again. Elbow grease is no longer necessary since putting this in my cleaning closet! I reccommend it for anyone with kids, pets, or even us messy adults!

I admit it...I'm addicted to MySpace. I check it ALMOST as much as I check my email. I'm not sure what I find so fascinating, but I'm hooked.

It has reconnected me with high school pals. Long lost friends from my childhood have "friended" me again. I even talk to family members that I rarely communicate with and see even less. I think alot of it has to do with how easy it is. You have a choice of when you wish to communicate. If I feel like chatting, I leave a comment or send a message. They respond in kind if and when they like. It's nothing like having a conversation either in person or on the phone, where you could be stuck for hours. You are in control. I kind of like that!

I also find it a great place to vent. I never thought I would be a big blogger. But I find it a great way to get my thoughts out. I choose who gets to read them, sometimes its nobody. I also love reading others blogs, it helps to hear a good story or lend some support to a friend.

I fell in love with this Calvin Klein scent in 2005. It was unlike most perfumes out there - a light floral, very clean, fresh and not overwhelming. This is very important for me for two reasons. I suffer from migraines and strong scents often aggrivate me. My fiance also has difficulties with strong scents due to allergies. So far, Eternity Summer hasn't affected either of us.

For the first time ever, I actually finishe a bottle of perfume. Much to my dismay, upon going to the local department store, I found that it is a seasonal scent, and changes yearly! The 2006 version - BLECH! Not even close. However, thanks to the wonderful world wide web and Fragrance.net, I was able to stock up and now...it's summer year round for me!

I had flashbacks of summers at the beach when I burned this new scent from Yankee Candle. I'm generally not a fan of their product, mainly because they do not offer soy based candles. However, I could not resist the Sun & Sand scent.

I have a palm tree themed guest bathroom, and like to keep it smelling fresh and clean. This is a perfect fit - almost as if you're laying on a sunny beach in a tropical location, not a bathroom in Tinley Park.

As described on the package, this scent combines sweet orange flower, lemony citrus, fresh lavender and powdery musk to create what I can only describe as Coppertone tanning lotion and the sea air! I can't get enough of it.

As a long time resident of San Diego, I had many times visted the Hotel Del Coronado, even hosted a company event there, yet I had never laid my head on one of their fluffy pillows. That all changed in April, and I can guarantee, they have me hooked and I will be a return visitor.

While the the "Del" as it's commonly reffered to, is not in downtown San Diego, it's within a 20 minute drive via the Freeway. For those of you that fear driving over bridges - this might not be the hotel for you, it is on an Island and you must cross the Coronado Bridge to ge there. I find Coronado a quaint little town, with lots of charming shops and restaurants. The Del however is what will bring me back.

The old charm of this hotel is one of the great appeals. Built in 1888 it has a lot of history, all of which you can learn on the in room television, or browse the lower level breezeway for the wall of memorabilia and information. From Marilyn Monroe, U.S. Presidents and even a spirit from beyond,...

I admit it, I tend to be one of "those" people. You know the ones who constantly have a camera at what to you may seem like the most dreadful moments. Yet, two weeks later after the picture has circulated, you can laugh out loud about that moment! My friends always thank me later. :)

This camera is my key to success. It's compact, light, easy to use and fits right in my purse or pocket. By comparison, it's about the same size as a deck of cards, maybe smaller. With options for nighttime, manual, indoor, outdoor, even kids (who knew there was a setting for taking pictures of kids!) every picture comes out beautiful. It also has the capabilities of taking underwater photos when you purchase the underwater housing. It's one downfall, there is no fireworks setting like found on many of the other Canon PowerShot models.

With all of the positives with this camera, my favorite is the capability to "mess" with the colors. For example - you can focus on a single color in...

Gus is a 6 pound, 2 year old Maltese/Dacschund who will no longer settle for a "normal" rawhide. Not since me, his mom, brought home Dingos. Not your ordinary rawhide, Dingos have real jerky meat wrapped in the middle. For Gus, life can't get any better when he's given one. In fact, don't bother him at all until it's gone.

They come in varying sizes from mini (what Gus eats) to large (what Gus would like to eat). You can also get plain or basted. Prices range anywhere from $2.49 to $4.99 and they are available at most pet stores and I have even been able to find them at your local grocery store. You can also purchase them at dingobrand.com.

As a pet owner, I love these, they are treats that are easily digested and good for his teeth too! It helps to know that he enjoys them - cause when I say Dingo - the tail starts wagging!

When many people hear Disney, they often think of overpriced, kid vacations. When it comes to Disney Cruise Line, they would be far from the truth. This past November marked my 5th cruise with Disney, and I have another planned for September. I find from the moment you exit your car and are checked in through the port, the "magic" Disney Cruise Line claims to have comes to fruition.

Disney Cruise Line (DCL) has two ships, The Disney Magic and The Disney Wonder, both similar in size based out of Port Canavral, FL. They differ only in decor and the cruises they offer. The Magic, sails 7 night cruises, alternating between the Eastern and Western Carribean. The Wonder on the other hand offers both 3 and 4 night cruises to the Bahamas. Occasionally they do offer special cruises to different locations.

For me, a single but dating woman in her 30's, I found this to be a great time - obviously, I've done 5! Now, I am a Disney fanatic, but don't believe that I let that come in...
