Icycreek says "Alavert works pretty well and is nondrowsy." about Alavert Non Drowsy Allergy Relief Citrus Burst Tablet 12 Tablet

Alavert is about the best allergy medicine I've found yet. It still does not completely work for me, but neither does any of the prescription medicine that I've tried. It does work pretty well though and it's non-drowsy, which is a real plus for me. I like the citrus dots as they just melt in your mouth and you don't have to take water. It's very convenient when you're on the run....

Icycreek says "Convenient!" about Black & Decker Grass Hog Cordless Weed Eater

I just recently ordered my 18 volt Black and Decker Grass Hog online. I have two other 18 volt Black and Decker tools and I've had good experiences with them, so I was pretty confident about ordering this online. It's very light weight and easy to use. The batteries between the 18 volt tools are interchangeable, so I could use the batteries that came with my other tools to extend the time. The Black and decker cordless tools are all so simple to use. You just click the battery into place. Push a button and off you go. No gas or pulling a string to start. The only downside is of course, having to recharge the batteries and work within the time they give you, but hey! It's so convenient and easy to use! My Grass Hog came with two batteries, which normally cost about $35 a piece if you buy them by themselves. The total price I paid was only $99 including shipping. It's much more powerful than I expected and even gets thin blackberry vines. The batteries last about 15 minutes a piece with this......

Icycreek says "USAA credit cards and other services are the best." about USAA FSB - Total Rewards Mastercard

Although I'm not a big fan of credit cards in general, USAA offers a great deal. They pay cash back rewards which has been a real help at times when we've been short on a payment. They also just lowered our interest rate yesterday after we asked them to. It wasn't that bad in the first place, but they dropped it by two points to 8.9 percent. We use a lot of the USAA services including banking, insurance and loans and I have to say they are a great business for being so big. I can get a live person quickly on the phone just by saying the word "representative" to the voice activated answering service. They are extremely helpful and really have helped us out a huge amount....

Icycreek says "Not as good as it looks" about Frigidaire Dishwasher - FDB2410LDS0

We have owned our Frigidaire built in dishwasher for all of three years now and it started falling apart within the first year that we had it. It started with a door handle that broke off in our hands. We were so busy with our lives at the time, that I didn't follow through with the warranty. I guess we figured we could deal with a broken handle as we could still open it up, it was just not as easy. Then it started smoking and we found out that the rotating piece in the bottom came loose and tilts over onto the heaters. Very dangerous! It could catch on fire! It's going out the door this weekend and we're getting a new one from a different brand. I'm not going to bother trying to get it fixed, because it's just all plastic anyway....

Icycreek says "Very comprehensive website for the horse buyers and sellers!" about DreamHorse.com

Dreamhorse.com is one of my favorite websites. I'm a horse lover and have been involved with horses for most of my life. Dreamhorse.com is designed to either buy or sell horses and horse related equipment. I've had really good luck in selling horses there and made sure they had good homes. I also have purchased horses that were advertised there. It's just a really fun site to browse for horse people. The advertising rates are really good and its very easy to use....

Icycreek says "Great bargain and safe to use too!" about Black & Decker Cordless pole saw

I ordered this chain pole saw off of Amazon and I was concerned as to what I would get. Black and Decker really surprised me though, with a quality tool that is much heavier duty than I thought it would be. It's very easy to use. It extends fully to about 9' or it can be used at the 6' level. It says 14' on the box, but I believe they are including a person's average hight. I have 77 acres of trees that I have been pruning. I was getting tired of lugging around the noisy and smoky old chain saw that I have. It was so unsafe being up on a ladder too, plus it was hard to start and required fuel. This new tool has been a godsend. It charges up in about 3 hours and lasts me about 2 hours. It's easy to put together and take apart and it has it's own carrying case with a shoulder strap, which makes it easy to carry around through the trees. It doesn't require fuel and is very quiet and safe to use. Although, they warn that it kicks back, it really doesn't. Nothing compared to a gas saw. I love......

Icycreek says "Best insurance company ever!" about USAA Banking and Insurance

USAA is the best insurance company I have ever used. 5 years ago, I was rear ended and injured in the collision. USAA stepped right up and all of my bills, incuding medical and car repair were all paid within 30 days of receiving each bill. They are outstanding! They are friendly and always helpful on the phone too. I can get all of my questions quickly answered. Their bank is great too. I can find out if I qualify for a loan within 15 minutes just over the phone. Plus, if I do qualify, I get a check overnighted to me by FedEx. I love USAA and would highly recommend it to anyone....
