Hookem07 says "Mmmm..tingly." about 5 GUM RAIN

Wrigley's much-hyped "5" gum has been all over the TV with their creative commercials and enigmatic advertising approach, and I love to try out new things, so I tried it out. The Rain flavor was my first choice because I have always been a fan of spearmint flavors. This gum was interesting - though not as "different" as they were going for, I think. The flavor is great, and it lasts an amazingly long time - so long my jaw starts to hurt before it runs out of flavor. There is also a nifty tingly feeling that adds to the overall freshness of the gum, but it's not overpowering, which is good. The packaging is cool, but seems a little unneccesary in its coolness. It's a little pricey, but definitely worth a try if you consider yourself on the cutting edge of gum coolness. A lot of market research went into the development of this...

Hookem07 says "A great addition to any music collection." about Kelly Clarkson: Breakaway

I don't usually like CDs and tend to download a single here or a couple songs there, but this CD has been great to have around. I take care of two little girls - ages six and nine - and they LOVE Kelly Clarkson. They always love to listen to this CD while we make dinner together or clean up their rooms. We sing along and dance around and have a great time with this CD. Some of the content of the lyrics is a little more depressing/angry than I was expecting, but luckily the girls are too young to know what Kelly's ranting on about, so we can just enjoy the funky beats and Kelly's incredible...

Hookem07 says "A must for any beauty regimen." about Clinique All About Eyes

I usually avoid spending a lot of money on beauty products, but the Clinique brand has repeatedly proven to be worth the price. The All About Eyes Rich eye cream is no exception. I hadn't tried it until I found it in the free gift bag I received when I bought my powder and concealer last time I visited the Clinique counter. This eye cream is incredibly smooth and I am convinced you can actually see the dark circles lighten up after you apply it. The moisturizer absorbs into the skin quickly, so it's easy to wear under makeup, and it really helps hold concealer and powder in place around the eye area as well. A little bit of the cream goes a long way, so I'm sure once I run out of my sample jar I will be back at the Clinique counter again to replace it from now on. —...

Hookem07 says "Funky, sleek, and available with all the right perks." about Hewlett Packard HP Pavilion dv2000

The HP Pavilion dv2500t notebook was a last-minute buy before I left for a year in Europe. My old laptop was on its last leg, and I wanted an affordable laptop that had enough features to serve its purpose, but not so over-the-top that I didn't need/use half its specs. This laptop has been great so far - I mostly use it for keeping in touch with my friends and family online, viewing/editing/storing/sharing my travel pictures, listening to music, and watching videos. Because this laptop is entertainment-oriented, it has been great for me. The design of the notebook itself is smooth, sleek, and funky with its mirror-shiny black surface with swirled designs giving it a fresh edge. There were tons of available upgrades and options when I purchased the notebook customized from the HP website. I ended up getting an upgraded processor, video card, wireless/bluetooth, and built-in webcam and microphone for an incredible low price. The only problems I have had with this computer so far are...
