HisQueen915 says "Best little diner in Rockport, ME" about Rockport Diner - Rockport, ME

After visiting Rockport, ME for our anniversary to see the lighthouses and have a romantic trip to Maine, we were disappointed at how pricey lobster was in September in Maine. We were excited to go to maine and envisioned eating lobster with bibs on at the harborside. We ended up having an overpriced lobster at a pricey restaurant. The next day we went in search of a more practical meal. We found our way into town and figured we'd give Rockport Diner a try. The ambience was what you would expect for a small town diner. But with Fresh lobsters in the tank and a friendly smile to greet us, was all we needed. We ordered the lobster for 2 dinners. Our $20 lobsters at the Rockport Diner were better than our overpriced tough lobster at the other pricey restuarant! We had excellent service and our server was ever so friendly and accomodating. The server was more than helpful with directions and service. The food was excellent and we went home full and satisfied that we got......

HisQueen915 says "Will return soon!" about Samoset Resort - Rockport, ME

We decided to travel to the Samoset Resort in Maine for the first time for our 7th wedding anniversary getaway. We go somewhere every year. Although Maine is only 6 hours from where we live, we had never been there before. We were glad we went. We decided on the Samoset especially for the golf course. After booking online, we decided to call and upgrade our room. We decided to book a suite with a balcony and our own private hot tub on the balcony. When we arrived, we drove through the back nine of their private golf course. The views were amazing. When we checked into the hotel by the wonderfully friendly staff... we were stunned at the gorgeous views of the ocean right off our balcony. We could see the breakwater and the lighthouse right from our window. The golf course was like nothing I had ever seen before. Very meticulously maintained and very professional caring staff. We had dinner at their 2 restaurants and had lunch at the Golf Clubhouse. The Lobster roll......

HisQueen915 says "Irreplaceable" about OxyClean OxiClean Laundry Stain Remover

Oxyclean is my go-to cleaner for the whole house. I cannot get through a day if I run out. I buy it by tub at sams club. I use it for laundry, cleaning the shower, floors, outdoor furniture, everything. I love how it takes dried up sauce off my son's clothes and marker out of his shirts. Toddlers are messy, I wouldn't know it by looking at their clothes, thanks to oxyclean. I will normally use gloves when handling the oxyclean, it tends to dry out your hands. It works great on my shower grout and keeps it sparkling clean. It is the only thing that will take out the stains on my outdoor furniture since it dissolves the pine sap and dirt that tend to accumulate on it over the summer outdoors. It has taken grease out of many of my husband's clothes and can take tar off his shoes. I soak all my whites in oxyclean to give it a pre treatment and add a scoop to every load of clothes that I do in my washing machine. IT's even safe to use in my high efficiency washing machine.......

HisQueen915 says "I love my sweeper!" about As Seen On TV Swivel Sweeper for Floors Vacuum

I Love my swivel sweeper. I've had it for 3 months and can't get enough of it. Having hardwood and tile floors, a dog, husband and 2 young children, it's nearly impossible to keep the floors clean, but with this little gadget, it makes it SOOO much easier. I've had a hard time finding a machine to sweep my floors for my and still be able to pick up the dropped soggy cheerios and corn from meals. I was tired of the dog hair and dust accumulating every day. The swivel sweeper is great because it is small enought to fit in my pantry closet and is cordless. It takes seconds to pull it out sweep, empty and put away. My 4 year old loves to help clean house and it's easy for him to operate. No problem. I charge it every few days. I've heard that it can get over charged and kill the battery so I keep it off the charge until it runs dead. I plug it into the charger over night and repeat the process. So far, no problems. My mother had one for about 6 months and I had to have......

HisQueen915 says "Best Lunch In Town" about Butcher Block - Plattsburgh, NY

The Butcher Block is a GREAT place to have lunch or dinner or even just drinks. The bar is roomy and has a great selection of beverages. Their lunch and dinner menu have many selections to choose from. Lunch has a variety of sandwiches from grilled sourdough sandwiches to burgers and ribs. Along with each sandwich comes all you can eat salad bar, soup and fresh baked bread. Each day they offer lunch and dinner specials. They have the best ribs in our area and the service is ALWAYs great. Their desserts are a must with their brownie sundae and cheesecake. Have it with a cappuccino after dinner. There is great ambience with soft music and 4 different dining areas. There's the main dining room, the bar area with booths, the solarium and the private dining area for parties and functions. The decor is decorated in a rustic adirondack feel with bare wood interior and Adirondack items hung from the walls along with antler chandeliers, not ugly but tastefully decorated. Very......

I am not as impressed with this blu-ray player as I thought I would be. As an owner of a 52" Pioneer Elite Plasma TV and Klipsch sound system, we thought this would be a great addition to our media room. We were sadly disappointed in the problems with this machine. We've had TONS of movies freezing up on us even after we updated the firmware 2x. The picture is nice, but not as nice as we thought it would be. We've consulted with numerous people on whether we connected it properly and then had it inspected by the installer of the rest of our equipment. We've had 2 hdmi cables go bad on us and have no explaination why. We're returning this product and hopefully we can find something better....

HisQueen915 says "Awesome Family Vehicle" about Honda Odyssey - 2006

I am a wife and parent of 2 young boys, one with mild Cerebral Palsy. We decided to venture into the "mini van" mode of travel when our son was getting to heavy to lift into his car seat and be able to get in and out of the car easily. We vowed to never own a mini van. But decided that we had no choice. We shopped endlessly for a minivan but kept coming back to the odyssey for many reasons. It is fuel efficient where it turns off cylinders in it's eco mode without having to do a thing. Depends on your speed and acceleration. The DVD entertainment is a must and we LOVE having the leather heated seats! So easy to keep clean and keeps you warm in the winter. Sound system is great, especially when the kids watch a movie like "Cars" or "Spiderman"! The Odyssey navigates and handles extremely well. I thought it would be difficult to park, but to my surprise it is VERY easy and pretty much turns on a dime. It's a breeze to back into a parking spot or paralell park. There......

HisQueen915 says "Everio is Perfect" about JVC Everio GZMG255 (30 GB) HDD Camcorder

The Everio is the perfect family camcorder. The Hard Drive is plenty large enough at 30gig. Plenty of space to record all those family moments. The quick startup is perfect for catching your little child's moments without having to wait for a long startup. The built in light is great for low light situations but is not so bright it blinds the subject. It has an internal micro SD slot for even more memory. Downloading the images and video is as easy as any regular digital camera. The files are saved with all information like date, time etc. The size is perfect, especially for the smaller person like myself. It's light and small enough to fit in your purse. It's very simple to use, just point and shoot. I would really recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade to a digital camcorder. Not discs or tapes to worry about carrying around or getting scratched or ruined. Burning to a dvd or cd is as simple as making a music or photo cd....
