copperdan says "I wish they had a toy like this when I was a kid" about MatchBox ROCKY Robot Truck

Well the old days when I was growing up all we had were the original tonka or mattel cars ,trucks , tractors, and etc.. then came the cheap plastic that if you left in the sun the plastic fell apart. And just like all things we advanced. Little motorized cars and trucks maych box cars. Transformers that you had to transform, and allthe way to today.
Enter the new age of toys. What I have to show you has such a wide variety of things for a little boy to do withthis. It is ROCKY the Robot Truck. when I helped Zerek open this he could not wait. He is 3yrs old and talks up a storm so when we took it out to try it out I accidently hit the red button to activate and the truck said "Hey buddy push my button again" and Zerek went nuts. He was laughing so hard so when he did the truck raised up like a person and started dancing. So I read all he does.
This truck Dances ,Dumps loads,Talks (over 80 phrases),he does Push Ups,And he even goes to Sleep and Wakes up.He knows when......

MikeMaroon says "Lost in, but never Rescue Me from These Shows I watch with Glee" about Best TV 2000-2009

Here we are at the end of another decade. Of course, I know you can carve any 10 year chunk of time out of the calendar and call it a decade and, well, it is. 1993- 2002 is a decade, BUT we mortals tend to think in multiples of 10 and so, for the purpose of categorising things, we think the beginning of all decades involve a number ending with a zero. Therefore, for most of us, Jan 1, 2010 will begin a new decade.

Now, any ole hack can pick the top 10 TV shows for a year, but this ole hack is gonna have the audacity to name the best (at least in my mind) TV shows I saw in the past 10 years. I KNOW! But, anyway I do understand that anyone making a list like this is gonna bring their preferences and biases into it and I'm not a huge sitcom or reality show fan, which is why you won't find much of that here. I must say, there was a LOT of quality TV out there and it was a tough choice, but I picked the shows that I just couldn't resist. You may or may not be surprised by some...
...

copperdan says "Most interactive friend a little girl could want perfect doll" about PlayMates Amazing Allysen Interactive Playmate Doll

Well this morning I got woke up early for Christmas to help 2 little kids open 150 presents. and I do not exaggerate. right after I got there their mother broke down on the road so I stayed. They wanted me to see it all when it came time to open "Amazing Allysen" dad had to help little Zerek so Iwas glad because I got to help with the most interactive doll you could imagine. It even took me by surprise.I mean I read what it said but it was more .A sort of futuristic understanding.
Imagine being a little girl looking for the best friend in the world ,Allysen is that friend. We got the doll out but had to wait for dad to find batteries so she went to see Zerek in his room .Well I got power and when I was putting the cover back she asked me if i was done, the doll knew what I was doing to her.I handed the doll to dad and went and said you need to talk to your friend and she ran in and sat to talk to the doll for 4 hours. This doll ask her the year she said no so the doll......

copperdan says "The most powerful love alluring aroma in the world today" about Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia Perfume For Women

Gardenia Oils and Spray Perfumes
I am a man of many talents and one of them is the art of theraputic massage. It was taught to me by a specialist many years ago.It is not something I usually tell just anyone but to be sure I was very apt in this art.I have been asked why I did not go into the line of work and my answer was pure plain and simple. I would not appreciate ever having to do this on a man. No offense to them but I do have a preference.Although I have not taken it up as a practice I have been asked to do this even b y friends who knew me and I did it in front of them for safety purposes and because they did not want their wives going somewhere else.
thus I learned over the years of the different qualities of fragrances and gardenia is used by aroma therapists and the likes. It is listed in books as being the highest love attracting and one of the highest in aphrodesiacs. It is awonderful aroma that it tops sales to rose lilac and many more. If I was to buy a woman a......

If you like action thrills and suspense this is a must see movie for you.The cast was very well picked and played their roles accordingly. This is not your normal type of portrayal for Will Smith who plays a fantastic role as a lawyer married with a son his wife is played by Regina King . Jon Voight plays the bad politician who has a senator murdered and to protect himself tries to set Will smith up to take a fall.Lisa Bonet plays the exgirl friend who is killed to make it impossible for Smith to go public with proof of the senator's murder. IN comes the well known Gene Hackman as an ex...
...

The Exceed-RC sunfire Storm
This day and age has changed so quickly and so have the toys. When I was growing up the only way you was able to use a toy electric car or truck such as this you had to visit a place like an arcade and you joined like a club . we called them slot car racers since they ran on a track with guide slots to keep them in place. You had to buy and bring your own car they use to run about $60.00 to $150.00 and I had 2 of them.Well as time went on they shut down and a new age developed and the radio controlled cars were everywhere. now comes the newer versions there are so many.My niece bought her 7 year old one for his birthday that tore up in three days she paid $45.00 for this car.Well I had gone to visit and I dont get to that much so I took her husband to the city and we got bthis car.I never thought I would pay so much for a car like this ,but it was guaranteed fully. When we got to the house I think everyone in the house wanted to play with it. this one is only......

copperdan says ""Fire Down Below a great movie about how people get used easily" about Fire Down Below

"Fire Down Below" with Steven Seagal

It is a real life story that takes you back to the country and the lives of our kinfolk, and how over time big business and corruption in our society has changed our lives and destroyed our beautiful landscapes. It makes you think as you watch and see the simple life that we use to have and how we have adopted allthis chaos.Though much of the chaos has been created by the real greedy people of our society.Kris Kristofferson plays a good role as a corporate leader who will stop at nothing to make his deadlines even at the cost of his son and all the people he grew up with.It shows what money will lead anyone to.In the end it takes Steven Seagal a lot of tough rides to take down this giant organization.

     What I believeis simply this.

We as a society have the responsibility to effect a change before this goes too much farther and we cant stop this from destroying our planet. We are on a path of doom unless we band together to stop...
...

The Lite Brite Flat Screen by Hasbro Toys

I read several other surveys and finally realized they were talking about a larger more advanced version of this toy.I bought this one for my great niece Lexii and she was amazed by it,actually all the kids were. They say it is an updated version of a toy of the past, although I never used one since I was before that. It is fun and very educational for teaching colrs and creative designs. It has lay out sheets with predesignated holes for the kids to follow and you can buy other packs of different designs.

The other reviewers claim it is $25.00 but that is an advanced version called the Lite Brite Cube. The flat screen is designed for an individual child to take their time to learn. Found under this listing or at walmart:

Well I read some of the other reviews and was shocked to hear what a few had sid that they were junk and upset because they said it didn't tell them all they needed to know. I disagree with all of that since I went with my buddy to pick out the one he bought for me to have internet. It said right on the box you had to program the laptops and any desk top as well in the main computer.I was wondering if they could read since it tells any other PC or laptop needed signed in and a card torun off the router. It also tells how a play station 3, a WII , and a PSP were able to be programmed into the computer so you can play all the games that you don't have you just cant download them.See the kids broke their PSP so he bought a WII and when he turned it on he didn't want to play so the kids wanted him to get me over there and I was surprised to see how well the games played all I had to do is go to the computer and pick a game and it was automatically put in the game.As for my computer the signal...
...

I really love the new Tex-Mex cantina in Wicker Park - Big Star. The owners of Avec started Big Star... nice group. Let's just say I went there 3 nights in a row so it must be good. Located across from The Violet Hour on Damen near Milwaukee. Great vibe, greater food and drinks. I'm in love.

The highlights...

- $2 tacos (chicken, fish, pork, veggie)

- Impressive tequila & bourbon list. Plus, a ginger & beer cocktail that I love. Most cocktails are $7.

- On tap: Goose Island's Matilda ($6), Lagunita lager ($4) & Schlitz ($1)

- Super fresh quacamole, handmade tortillas

- Chill atmosphere, friendly staff

- Good music. They play records. Yes real records on a record player! Mostly rockabilly, old country (think Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash)

Go early-ish for any hope of getting a seat at the bar or seats anywhere, for that matter.
...

I love it otherwise since it only costs $ 20.00 for a whole year and no other charges.I can call Canada and USA also any jack in the world.

I have done construction for 41 years now,and have used so many different types of tools.Different companies come out with all kinds of innovations that we have tried but so many of them do not stand up to the rigorous wear and tear of construction.I mean work that the average person cannot even stand up against. It takes a certain type of person as well as special types of tools. Tool designers come and go all the time, but who ever actually created the dewalt tools was correct in thier fashion and durability. Some of the ones in the beginning may have failed some what but they still worked better than most and in all of thier trying they succeeded in creating a line of tools that have out done all of the rest. They have cordless sawsalls ,circular saws ,etcetera, and still the 18 volt heavy duty drill driver cannot be outdone . I have used many of them and they are tough. I have seen ome dropped off a roof maybe 100feet pick it up and start using it again. We used them to put tech screws...
...

A wonderful children's movie fit for all ages
This movie to me was more than I expected to see in a children's movie. It had a good story line and a good perspective of how we get lost in ourselves and forget the needs of others and the beauty in the country that we destroy everyday in our struggle to advance our society. I think we try too hard to go forward and it actually pushes us back down the ladder so to speak.
The movie starts off with a young rookie driver trying to be number one ,but in reality to be no.1 you need to give not take and he finds this out as the movie goes on. He gets lost and winds up in a small town held by the court for the destruction of property and has to make good on what he did.He thinks of running away but the towns people are so good to him for the job he is doing and it makes him open his eyes to another way of life. When he leaves to go to his race he feels lost and then they come to rescue him. at the last he gives up first place to help the......

pitcherday says "How do you screw up raw vegetables?" about Okoboji Grill - Ames, IA

I got a restaurant.com gift card for $10. I had heard good things about the Okoboji Grill in Ames, IA, so I decided to use it there.

I went in on a Saturday night about 6pm. Their special was prime rib. My husband loves prime rib which is why we were excited to be able to use a gift card for it. My husband ordered the prime rib special (which included a choice of potato and piece of garlic bread), and a dinner salad with Ranch Dressing. I ordered the Gyro Sandwich (it's beef, not lamb) with the "rabbit side" instead of fries. The rabbit side is raw vegetables (baby carrots, cucumber slices, broccoli, and celery) with a side of Ranch Dressing to dip them in. I also got a cup of the vegetable meatball soup.

The salad was fine. The soup was average. It tasted (and looked) like canned vegetable soup with prepackaged meatballs cut in half in it. It was fine. Then we got our main courses.

That prime rib looked nasty. It was brown. Brown like boiled meat, or the color beef turns when it goes bad...
...

MikeMaroon says "Lookin for Love in all the Wrong Places......" about The Imperfect Enjoyment

by Dwan W. Gibson reminds me of dudes I knew in high school who used to brag about all the women they had or everyone sitting around the big screen TV, watching some reality show and recounting their dating horror stories from Match.com. And that's just how it reads. Mr. Gibson opens his first and, so far only, book, a memoir with the statement "The girls have always been good to me, most of the time." He then recounts his first kiss, in the seventh grade. From there it's all about the women he loved and lost.

Sometimes humorous, sometimes serious and always to the point, Gibson fashions a breezy and at times raunchy narrative describing how he got hooked on "the fairer sex", and his pursuit of love, often in all the wrong places. He moves away from his home in Cleveland for the bright lights of California, mostly to satisfy his sense of adventure and desire to get away from the social restrictions of a black man living in the midwest.

What he finds in San Diego isn't exactly...
...

Jolie says "buyuggsboot.net is a scam! Ugg Boots from China that are fake." about www.buyuggsboot.net

Background on Buyuggsboot.net

A friend of mine at Viewpoints recently passed along a site called www.buyuggsboot.net. She found it online. www.buyuggsboot.net is a web site that sells all styles of Ugg Boots at discounted prices.

We werent certain if www.buyuggsboot.net were the real or not. But after a thorough review of the site, we thought it was legit. Buyuggsboot.net looks like a reasonable reseller of Ugg Boots. The page is designed well, the pictures look authentic and they make claim to having the real deal. They also consistently site throughout the web site having customer satisfaction commitments.

To add to the thought it was authentic, the pricing seemed good but not amazing. As you probably know a typical pair of Ugg Boots cost about $110. On Buyuggsboot.net the cost was $89.00- approximately a $20 savings. Seemed like a good deal, but they werent so cheap that I thought it could be scam. As an aside, last year Nordstrom had a similiar sale on Ugg boots so the pricing seemed...
...
