There are 3 things I really like about AmEx Platinum. 1) You get a free membership to Delta Crown room when you show your card and your ticket. This is fantastic for the heavy traveler like me. 2)They will make dinner reservations for you anywhere in the world - I used them when i went to Paris 3) If something EVER happens to you while you are traveling, they have got you covered.

I use AmeX because it keeps my spending in check. I make good money, but I don't want spend beyond my means. I also feel their memebership rewards program is superb. I have purchased all kinds of things with the points I have accumulated.

I have to agree with reviews on how fantastic these panties are. My firend gave me a few pair for my bday (it's only a good friend that can give undies for a gift!). That got me hooked. I have actually thrown away all my other underwear. YES, they are $18 a pair, but honestly worth every dime. My only difficulty is finding them. Whenever I see them I buy at least 3 at a time....

I literally furnished my entire apartment by using Overstock.com. Partly because of the prices, but mostly because I don't have a car in NYC and they don't charge much for shipping, etc and it gets delivered right to my door.

I have ZERO handy man skills so I will say you really have to know what you are getting into if you order furniture. My husband definitely had to help me with some items, but overall I am proud to say I did most of it myself!

I have ordered electronics (camera) and bedding, kitchen stuff as well and have been leased with everythign I received.

I never book a trip without going to Tripadvisor and reading reviews. That being said I do use it with a grain of salt. One woman gave the hotel a bad rating because they didn't get her luggage from the airline. Well, that's not a good enough reason to give a hotel one star to me. So use with caution.

I also really like the "traveler photos". They really show what the place looks like. My husband and I were considering doing a Sandals vacation until we went to TA and could not find ONE good thing about any of their resorts. The pictures taken by travelers showed the places to be even worse than we thought. Whew. $5k saved.

Diet Coke and I have a special relationship. it's the perfect accompaniment to my favorite foods and is available everywhere I go. I just wanted to mention that if you ever go to France, the Coca Lite is awesome (french version of Diet Coke). Don't need to say anymore. Hugs to you DCoke....

I have done every diet there is and WW keeps it off for the long haul and teaches you about portion control. If you hate the meetings and all that, do the program online. I didn't have a ton of weight to lose, but I definitely walked away thinner and understanding that I cannot eat what ever I want and not work out and be healthy. WW works!!

I fly Delta exclusively now these last few years. I have lived in NY, LA, SF, ATL and at one point flew every week for a year, so believe me I travel. When I lived in LA, I flew just about every week and in two years did not have one delay or cancellation. Including a trip I flew from LA to Boston to London to Athens and back. Not one delay. Delta caters to a business traveler and is extremely efficient. I don't care about the food they serve or them kissing up to me. I care about leaving and arriving on time. They nail it. They are also fabulous to book tickets online with. I can check in up to 24 hours before and not even bother waiting on any lines. My one small gripe?? Change the snacks more often please. I can only eat so many Biscott cookies thank you....
