EarthenMaiden says "Canon Digital Rebel rocks my digital socks!" about Canon - EOS 350D/Rebel XT SLR Digital Camera

I've had my Canon Digital Rebel for almost 2 years now and it is still fabulous. I especially love the fact that the lenses are interchangeable with the Canon Rebel SLR I already own. There are many features that you can set for point and shoot capability: coloring (florescent, tungsten, cloudy, etc), type (portrait, landscape, etc.) or you can go totally manual. The graininess when shooting at 1600 is a bit too much, but allows you to shoot in very low light conditions. It's a great everyday camera, and can capture photos that look mostly semi-professional, if your settings are used correctly.

The price has dropped significantly since we purchased mine 2 years ago. It is definitely a great deal at the $500 package price I'm seeing advertised now. Even at almost double that cost, it was still worth it. Its completely compatible with iPhoto and works seamlessly with my mac. Overall, a great camera!
...
