DragonmanJB says "Very useful and easy to understand" about Garmin - Nuvi 670

I purchased this GPS because I am a contract network repairman. It has been a pleasure and somewhat of a pain. The reason is most of the time the address I need to go to is in the register but sometimes it is not. I have found that if I have to go to a brand new place then it is not able to find that particular address. I have even uploaded the newest maps from Garmin. If you plan to keep the GPS for a couple years the lifetime map upload for a onetime fee is better than per map every quarter. I learned that after I had purchased a single map. The Bluetooth works well however I am hard of hearing and I prefer a Bluetooth in my ear instead of using the GPS. I used the FM transmitter but the problem with that is as you travel a station may interfere that is on the same frequency. I find that the touch screen is very intuitive to use. Where? and you fill in the information. Overall I like my unit and the reviews did not steer me wrong on this purchase.
...

DragonmanJB says "Unreliable" about Epson Stylus CX4400 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I received this with the purchase of my new computer. I should have known that free was not quality when it came to an electronic item. I have never owned a nice printer but I have seen a lot of much quicker and higher quality print outs. This printer seems to eat ink and is SO SLOOOOOOW! I really have wanted to throw it out the window. When I change the ink cartridge I have to run a head cleaning twice before it is printing without lines in text. Head cleanings use ink so there goes even more ink. I have to say the scanner is good. Whenever I have to scan something it has been good quality. I would never buy this printer. The reason I say unreliable is because I don't know when it will print something poorly. The ink level will say that it is full but half of the page will be missing portions of text or whole lines of a picture will be missing. I have to print documents that are legible. I do not think that is too much to ask.
...

DragonmanJB says "Best sleep I have ever had" about Tempurpedic Mattress Set

I own a queen set and love every sleeping moment I have with my bed. I did a lot of research before my purchase. It came down to the sleep number and tempurpedic. I did an in store test of the sleep number and wasn't too impressed. I was won over with the tempurpedic in the most obscure place. I had a dental appointment and my dentist uses tempurpedic chair covers. I was amazed at the comfort. I knew at that point what bed I wanted. I have a bad L5 in my back and had to get off springs. The tempurpedic has removed 95% of my daily ache in my back. I almost dislike traveling now because I know that I will not sleep very well over a few consecutive days. Most recently I had to go house sit for a week. The owner has a queen, spring mattress with a down mattress topper but by the end of the week my back was sore I slept on the floor instead. The night on the floor helped but my back pain went away and then I had muscle aches because the floor puts pressure points on the body. When I returned...
...

DragonmanJB says "Wonderful phone and surprisingly durable" about Palm Centro Smartphone

I have had this phone for two years and it is still keeping with the times. The real shocker to me is the durability of this little phone. I can't count the number of times I have dropped it. I just pick it up and hope it is still working. Every time it still is and there are just small dents in the plastic. Nothing has yet to break off in a chunk. The screen being inset to the phone has probably saved that from being destroyed. Bluetooth works well and unlike some other palm devices this one is not plagued with freezes or random restarts. I text a lot and I use my fingernails to manipulate the buttons. I do think the keyboard is a little small but it is functional. I like that I can program the hot keys on the front of the phone. There are four pictures that are buttons surrounding the palm button. You can program them so that they do something other than what is pictured. You can also make the same button function in two different ways. Set a primary function and then there is a little...
...

DragonmanJB says "Awesome machine" about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

I love this machine. My first test with it was at my mother's house. She owned an Orek and swore by it. I used her vacuum first and then said now watch mine. After vacuuming the same area with the Dyson I picked up half a canister full of things the Orek missed. This was a regular large area rug. I finished vacuuming her house and emptied another two full canisters. I bought it because I loved the idea of not loosing suction while vacuuming. That problem plagued older models. I really liked the idea of the hepa-filter (which is very easy to clean). I also own a dog and a cat so this was the right machine to take on the job of cleaning up their fur. The cord is really long so you don't have to plug and unplug as much. The hose is really long too. A function that scared me the first time it happened is really nice as well; if you suck up something in the brush head and it is stuck the machine makes a really awful noise but it is preventing the item from continuing to get sucked in....
...
