DoughpyMoney says "Excellent all-a-round products" about Google

I have to say Kudos to Google search and their satellite products such as GMail, iGoogle, Googlepages, Google documents, etc. As a student, there is not an on-line tool that I use more. GMail gives me 5 Gigs of memory and I never have to erase an email. Of course that results in a lot of emails for a quick keyword search and I have what I need. iGoogle allows me to have the links to the websites I use on a daily basis, moniter Gmail, and keep my calandar up to date. Google doucments have been a godsend as over the summer as all of our research group members were spread across the country and needed to write a paper together. Google docs allowed us to do that in real time. I continually look forward to the new projects in the Google...

DoughpyMoney says "Great car and easy to work on" about Honda Civic - 1991

The 1991 Honda Civic is a great first car to won. The gas mileage is great (40+ on the highway) and the design is simple making repairs easy. Also the engine is long lasting (200k+ and still going) as long as you perform basic maintanence. I have never had to take the car into the shop and all the repairs were completed in a garage. The only negative is this car is often stolen. Consequently my car has been broken into 5 times. Make sure you have an alarm or a deadman switch in...

DoughpyMoney says "Ungh!... mutilation of character development" about Spiderman 3 Movie

Spiderman 3 is a must see if you are a true spiderman fan. Other than that I am not sure why you would want to see this movie. There were too many characters and poor development of each one including the black-suited spiderman. I think I will only focus on three of the characters- Spidey, Sandman, and Venom. — — Spidey- I have to admit I liked the development of Peter Parker as becoming more self-involved with his superhero status. As the city embraced him, he started to become more self-absorbed. However the alien symbiont development with Spidey was too rushed. The resulting Spidey was just obnoxious, not dark in character. Missing also was the "torment within" as Spidey fought with his inner demons. My two-year old shows more inner conflict when suppressing her desire for a cookie before dinner than Spidey did with separating with the symbiont personality. — — Sandman- I understand the need to develop a motivation to why people do bad things, but the take...

DoughpyMoney says "Great card if you like diminishing rewards" about Citi - Diamond Preferred Rewards Card

Overall I still have a positive opinion of this card. I have redeemed over $1000 in points since I have been a member; however the incentives are continually reduced. The card started out with 5x bonus points on groceries and gas, then went to 3x, and is now 2x. I believe companies should honor their original contracts with their customers. Citi does not do that. I imagine I will receive a competitive offer from another credit card company at which time I will cancel my diamond preferred card and open the new...

DoughpyMoney says "Excellent resource, poor textbook" about Walter C. Borman et al - Handbook of Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology Books

The Handbook of Psychology- Industrial and Organizational Psychology was a poor read and gave little explanation and background into concepts. As a textbook in an I/O course it left much to be desired. However despite the book's weakness as a text, it is an excellent source of information and references. If you have the time to look up the referrences on a particular topic, it can be extremely...
