DolphinLuver says "Could not live without it!!!" about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

I truly never thought I would spend almost $600.00 on a vacuum cleaner but it has been worth every penny. I frequently read a magazine that tells which items are worth the money and which are not. It, to this day, states that the Dyson is not worth the money. I decided to do my own homework and everyone that I had spoken with loved their Dyson, so I thought I would give it a try.
I have been through SEVERAL vacuum cleaners due to the fact that my husband likes to "help me" with the vacuuming. I did the math and could have purchased a few Dysons for the money I have spent on less expensive cleaners.
I decided to go for the Dyson DC14 for animals due to the fact that I have two dogs that shed like crazy and a cat that likes to grace us with her presence occasionally. The den is the most lived in room in our house so I figured that would be a good test spot. I could not believe how much dirt and pet hair this thing sucked out of my carpet. It also sucked up some carpet fibers where......

I saw the black and orange scissors several times at Lowe's before I decided to purchase them. For someone who usually buys scissors at the local dollar store for fear that the children will take them and never return them, $20 bucks seemed like a bit much for me to spend. I finally made my mind up that, if I didn't like them, they could always be returned. This decision has been a pretty darn good one ever since.
My first knowledge of the Black & Decker Rechargable scissors were on a commercial. A family friend had received a pair as a gift and told me how much she loved hers. I personally thought she was crazy, who in the world could LOVE scissors? As I stated before, I kept checking them out and finally decided to purchase a pair for myself. I finally understood why she LOVED her scissors so much.
Initially, you charge them for a few hours, turn them on and, depending on your usage, can use them forever on a single charge.
