      <description>&#160; &lt;p&gt;The new SL-1200MK2 made from Technics has become a necessity for all clubs and all disc jockeys that use these wheels of steel for their art. With a direct drive motor and the use of quartz technology it is easy to get the sound of the scratch out of this machine with the comfort of knowing that the motor can withstand the abuse. This turntable has the ability to reach full speed in .7 seconds. Quick stops are achieved with the fully electronic braking system. As most Disc jockeys business is from club to club, the SL-1200MK2 has a tough aluminum die cast casting. The underside is made of a heavy rubber material that not only makes the unit stronger and safer to transport, but it also helps to keep the record from skipping when bass lines hit in the club. The turntable comes with a rubber slip mat, however as any professional Disc Jockey knows it would be best to get some &quot;Table Cloths&quot; or &quot;Butter Rugs&quot; if you plan on scratching. Four large-size feet also help to absorb unwanted vibrations....&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
