DivaMom says "I wish I had one of my own!" about Disney Mix Max (512 MB) Digital Media Player

I bought this for my 7-year old daughter for Christmas. I took it out of the package to make sure it worked and was very impressed. I wish I had one of my own! I think it's awesome to be able to put in a card and view a full-length movie! I'm very impressed. I think my daughter is going to love it. She was wanting an MP3 player, and this is above her expectations. I bought a silicone cover for it to protect it from being dropped. I think it's neat that you can buy a "clip" that basically looks like a regular memory card, but it's either a full-length movie or a full-length album. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be enough of a variety of clips. I think I only found 6 full-length movies and only 4 of those would interest my daughter. The music, I am sure is harder because of trying to find something kid-appropriate that preteens, tweens, and teens would all like. I also think the cost of the clips is a little high. Depends on where you buy them,......

DivaMom says "Holds a lot for less money" about SanDisk - e280 8GB MP3 Player

I bought this to use at work, where I am a data entry operator and get bored quite easily. I loved how much storage space the Sansa had, so I am able to load lots of music, audio books, and pictures to brag on my kids at break time. Haven't tried to load videos yet, as I can't watch videos at work. I paid $150 for this while comparable MP3 players, including ipod were upwards of $199. I replaced the earbuds to a more comfortable set--I wonder why they include those things, does anyone actually use them? I have had a few issues where I have had to reformat the whole thing more than once. That part is a little annoying, but the customer service at SanDisk is very good--they respond quickly and have been able to walk me through all the problems. I'm very happy with it....

DivaMom says "The best vacuum I have ever owned" about Eureka - Boss Smartvac Bagged Upright Vacuum

I read lots of reviews and was scared to buy a new vacuum. I had spent way too much on my last one and it was only average, at best, and then slowly lost power. That seemed to be a theme with vacuums judging by the reviews I read. This one seemed to have great reviews, so I bought it. I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a very messy husband, so let's just say that this vacuum is put through its paces. I've had it for about 8 months and am very happy with it! It hasn't lost power and picks up dirt like no vacuum I have ever owned. My kids even like to use it! My only complaint is that I can't get the attachments to stay where they are supposed to be stored on the vacuum, so they get lost because I forget where I put them.
...

DivaMom says "Now you can afford to actually USE your printer!" about Kodak 5100 All-in-one Inkjet Printer

It used to be more ecconomical to buy a whole new printer than to replace your ink cartridges. I have several in my office graveyard to attest to that. Then there was the onset of the cartridge refills. I tried to do that myself once but it didn't work. Then I took one to a retailer to have filled and learned that you have to bring it in while it still has some ink in it--what a rip-off. The solution? The Kodak 5100 All-in-One printer? The cartridges are the same prices as some retailers charge for refills. Instead of paying $50 for one cartridge, you can spend $25 and have both color and black replaced. But, just having cheap cartridges isn't a good enough reason to buy a printer. However, this is Kodak, the picture people, so you know that you will get good quality picture printing. The scanning and printing are all top-quality. It's still pretty new, so I am still learning about it, but so far, I am extremely happy with this purchase. I only wish I had bought...
...
