This unit is not the "beside-your-desk-throw-away-after-one-year" machine. It is a heavy-duty unit, good for a small office of 5-25 employees. Micro shreds (even better than cross-cut) up to 10 sheets at a time, including staples (paper clips not recommended). Separate feed slot for CDs, credit cards, etc. Fellowes offers the best customer service of any company I've dealt with. Our unit arrived with one of the roller/casters broken. Appeared to have been damaged in transit by UPS. I filed report with UPS, but was told to contact the shipper (since they paid the freight). Fellowes immediately shipped a replacement roller, without even asking for date or proof of purchase.

The Panasonic DMC-LZ7 is a GREAT camera. A few features that I think are most important is that it uses AA batteries--either rechargeables or single-use. That is MUCH cheaper than the lithium rectangular batteries that many of the compact cameras use. And the AA batteries, even rechargeables, last a long time--up to 200-300 shots, even using fill-in flash most of the time. Another feature is the 2.5" LCD screen. But be careful, some other models in this Panasonic series have only a 2.0" screen. The camera has so many features that I am still learning new things, even though I have had the camera for nearly a year. Stihl Farm Boss 290 is a REAL chain saw. Great power, even for big jobs. Easy start. Great for on-the-ground work, but a bit heavy to handle up in a tree. If the blade is kept sharp, the saw "pulls itself" through the tree/cut with little effort your part. I use the saw primarily for cutting firewood for home heating and other jobs around the 21 acres (mostly wooded) that I own. The Farm Boss is a powerful saw. I've never had any problem with the oiler getting plugged. Always starts with just 4-5 pulls. It will cut through an 18" log of oak in less than two minutes. With a sharp chain, it practically pulls itself through the cut, requiring little effort on the part of the person doing the sawing. The only negative is that, if you do a lot of cutting up in trees, this model is a bit heavy. It might be best to consider a smaller/lighter model--Stihl has one for every job. Because of the power of this saw, be safe....kickback is deadly--with any chain saw.
