This unit is in FoodSaver's top-of-the-line model line.

After several years of dealing with the cheaper FooSaver units breaking down too often too soon, I decided to give the FoodSaver line one more try by buying one of their top models!

The cheapers ones seem to constantly break down too prematurely. The units would vacuum suck the air out, but they wouldn't seal the bags - an indication that the heat-seal strip had died too early! This is very aggravating, since the units aren't reall cheap pricewise, but I think they are very cheaply made!

In order to try to combat this annoying problem with the heater strip failing so blasted soon, I figured that if I buy one of their top models, that it would last longer.

This unit has it all! You no longer have to manually lock the bags down in the unit, you no longer have to aim the open end of the bag down into the vacuum chamber, and for most vacuum sealing, you don't even have to press the Seal button! It might look pretty complicated, but I...

I bought the Acer Aspire 4720Z Laptop Computer back in February last year. It was great while it working. I could surf the Web, send and receive e-mails

Everything seemed to be going fine until earlier this year when suddenly the screen went blank and the unit wouldn't download! Tried several times and nothing could be done. So I had no other choices but to have the thing looked at and repaired.

Found out that the hard drive had crashed and had to be replaced! The keyboard was also replaced since it began acting up last spring! Got the unit back, but I had to get and use a set of 3 recovery disks to restore the unit back to operating staus to the time when I first got it last winter.

The unit works fine now, but since I have a nwer one, this one is used as a secondary one. I still like it though, and it's still under warranty as well! But it works fine now like it's brand new!!

I bought the Amcor portable Air Conditioner ALD-12000EH in '06, thinking that it was going to cool the living room comfortably. Boy, was I wrong!! It does NOT meet any of my expectations!!

This unit is no good at all! A worthless piece of junk. For one thing, the condensate pan fills up too fast and shuts the unit down too soon. Another problem with this unit is that even if you DO use the supplied drain hose, I had to prop the unit on top of a milk crate for it to drain the water.

And even then, it made so much water that the roasting pan used to catch the water had ran over and wet up the floor!!! You can't even leave the house or apt with this thing on because it makes water constantly while it is on!! It comes with a remote control though, but the fact of the matter is that as long as this unit is on, you have to babysit with it!!

Like having to constantly change a baby's diaper. Not that I don't like children. I LOVE them!! But it's ridiculous to have to go through the constantly annoying...

Don't buy this piece of junk!! The K-Aid Food Grinder Attachment Model FGA in pure junk!

It almost killed my K'Aid Stand Mixer!

I was grinding some meat for spaghetti and meatballs, and then I noticed that the mixer began to labor badly!!! I immediately turned off the mixer and removed the grinder from it.

Found out later that liquid had back-flowed into the mixer's machinery which had slowed down the machine very badly!! So I washed and sent the thing back. to Cooking.com and ordered a Waring Pro electric food grinder instead.

Couldn't be happier with it!! The K'Aid attachment is all cheap plastic!! Even the pusher is plastic, which in most photos, it is shown as a wooden one!! I will NEVER buy this again!!!

WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PRODUCT?

First, let me say that for 13 years, I've bought and owned no other printer or scanner that wasn't made by Hewlitt Packard! And during those 13 years, I thought that HP was one of the best products out there.

Not so now!! The HP printers - that is the 2 latest ones, and then the HP scanner have all stopped working!! Right after the waranties had expired!

WHY I'M SO ANGRY, FRUSTRATED & THROUGH WITH HP:

The HP scanner that was in use or supposedly was in use, had stopped working, mainly because the software is not compatable with Windows Vista. When I called them to ask about it. they told me that since the scanner is no longer in production, that there is no updated software for it that would be compatable with Windows Vista, and that if there were, it would cost me about $80 or so!!

Then they told me that they could help me get the scanner working again, but said that they'd charge me $59.00 to do it!! I'm not paying that!!!!! That's when I decided...

WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PRODUCT?

I needed a new computer because the old one that I was using was really old and so blastedly slow and with very few features. Even though it's an all-metal one, it was just so painfully slow. It took too long to download pages, especially ones that have lots of pictures on them!

I was not happy with it, especially when I wanted to browse the Web or even checking my inbox in Outlook Express! Took forever, mainly because the old untit's memory was so low, paianfully slow and pretty much depleated! It was driving me nuts!!

WHAT THEN?

Then a friend of mine had bought me the Acer Aspire 4730Z Notebook (laptop) Computer as an early birthday gift. He had begun to notice how frustrated I was with the old computer. But I didn't turn the new one down, oh no!! I needed something that was much faster than what I was using.

George Foreman knows how to knock out the fat!!

This unit truly excels in getting the job done! It meets and exceeds all of my expectations. It makes excellent roast chicken better than my regular oven would do!! I love it!!

There are no temp settings to be bothered with. you just set it to the amount of time that you want the food to cook, and forget it! I like to put some lemon juice on the chicken first and then put some fry rub on it after tying it down so that the legs and wings don't stick out. I then put the bird on the spit, place it in the unit, turn it on and forget it.

About and hour or so later, you'll have a golden juicy roast chicken that's very crispy dry and golden brown outside, yet tender moist and juicy inside!! The secret is in the cooking action. The food is exposed to the heating element by being slowly rotated which cooks it evenly and precisely! it actually make food cooked in it taste a whole lot better!

This is the first electric griddle that I've owned, and I must say that it makes perfectly cooked breakfasts, lunches and even dinner!!

I bought this unit back in the summer last year to replace a cheap worn-out stovetop griddle that just doesn't cut the mustard! This unit is everything that i've always wanted in an electric griddle!

It makes marvelous meals and it makes them very well!

Temps can be set anywhere from about 250 to 400 degrees or anything else in between. Non-stick satin-smooth suface helps prevent foods from sticking. You can cook on it practically fat-free!! Removable grease tray catches any eccess grease.

Cleanup is a snap!! Unit is completely immersable. Simply let unit cool when you're fisihed cooking on it, remove the heat control and just wash unit and driy tray by hand in the sink.

Use it to make grilled sammies, pancakes, cook sausages & bacon, hash browns, fry or scramble eggs, cook filleted fish or boneless chicken breasts and even steaks!!

I love to cook and bake! I like truly big metal powerful heavy duty monster food prep appliances!! Getting a cheap plastic flimsily-made stand mixer or food processor just isn't practical at all because you'll end up buying another one again in about 6 monrhs or so!

This stand mixer - the K-5SS, has been adored by serious home gourmet cooks, home bakers and professional chefs alike for many, many, many years. It has been in production for the better part of about 45 years or so now!!

It is in use in the kitchens of hospitals, culinary traing programs, restaurants, and commercial bakeries, supplementing and helping out the monster floor-standing and the countertop 20-qt Hobart mixers!!

It meets and exceeds all of my expectations! I've had it for over two years now, and it has not let me down. Perhaps 2 years isn't much to brag about, but I've owned the slightly smaller K45SS for almost 22 years now. That one has done well by me for many, many years now, and is STILL in service!

WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PRODUCT?

I bought this computer to replace an aging Panasonic Toughbook laptop which is heavy and too much to carry on business trips. Also, it wouldn't accept most of today's accessories like the wireless card!

Even though the thing worked well, it was often too slow and the screen was all scratched up, making things very difficult to see!

WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PRODUCT?

These are so wonderful, and they eliminate the most dreadful job associated with baking - the messy cleanup of greasy baking pans!! You just put one on a cookie sheet or pan, place your portioned cookie dough on it, pop it in the oven and you'r good to go!!

I bought TWO of these for use with the three half sheet pans that I own. Make baking cookies a breeze! No more burned wax paper or parchment paper either!

And all you have to do is just wipe the mats and the pans clean when your done! No more stuck-on or cooked-on cookie dough either!!

The drudgery of backing cookies is thrown out the window!!

I mainly bought this product because it's made by Rubbermaid - a brand name that has been trusted for generations! The company has been making consumer products for tghe home for many, many, many years!

Millions of homemakers have relied on Rubbermaid products the world over!

WHAT MOST INFLUENSED THE PURCHASE OF THIS PRODUCT?

I wanted a laundry basket that could stand the test of time. One that wouldn't crack under pressure! And besides, I already have Rubbermaid products in use!

Other brands of laundry baskets are cheap and flimsily made. They start to crack and break up within about the first month or so of use!! This product has been in use by me for at least 7 years now! And there are no signs of wear and tear.

WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PRODUCT?

This unit is a pure piece of junk!!!!!!!!! Do NOT buy it!! You're better off getting one of the newer Food Saver units!! This product is a complete waste of money now!!!!!!!!!

But there is a definite design flaw in the design of this unit!! Once the batteries were replaced, I found myself having to replace them every blasted two weeks

But as it turns out, I soon found out that the most constant annoying aggravating and frustrating problem with these machines is that time, after time, after time again, after their vacuum bags are sealed and placed in the freezer, for some ungodly reason, somewhere down the road, the bags begin to work themselves loose - losing their valuable vacuum seal, letting uninvited air in and leaving all of your foods vulnerable to freezer burn and food spoilage!! Making you throw your hard-earned money right in the trash!!

Somehow, those supposedly reliable bags just won't hold a vacuum seal. I've had enough of that!! Stick...

I got this machine for free!

Two years ago, the co. was runing a promotion to get people to switch from their old drip-style coffee makers to this sleek ultra-modern machine.

I decided that I wanted to try it. When it came in the mail, I tried it right away just to see how it works and what the coffee tastes like. It was fantastic!!

It makes either two normal size cups or one large mug. You need two pods to make enough coffee for a mug though. Comes with two different size pod holders - one for one cup of coffee and one for two-pod use. Comes in red, black, white and blue.

Honestly, this machine makes your old drip-style machine look absolete!! Very phenominal, sleek and beautiful! Easy to use and lovely to look at! And the coffee tastes like capuchino because the machine whips the coffee as it's being made!!

Comes with a bag of regular flavor coffee pods to get you started. Optional pods are available at your local supermarket in Hazelnut, Regular, Irish Cream, French Vanilla and Robust....
