When Goofbay was introduced to me, I was a bit confused due to the MANY options they have on the site. I could spend all day long (maybe more) exploring all they have to offer. What brought me there in the first place is I needed to find an item I had purchased over a month ago (and by then I had ordered to many to use Ebay's back tracking tool). All I had to do was type in my user id and how far I wanted to go back. Within a short loading time it listed all I had purchased as well as the seller id of the past 60 days. It took me about 1 minute to locate the exact item transaction I wanted! There is so much more it has to offer that I can only name a few without getting carpal tunnel syndrome!

Finally I found some great headphones that can withstand the bass of upbeat dance music AND most importantly stay in my ears comfortably! The Sennheiser MX55VC/MX55 Basswind Stereo headphones are an inexpensive way to get a good fit and quite acceptable sound. The only drawback as far as I can tell is the lack of volume; I like my music real loud and unfortunately even-though they have their own volume control, I can't quite get them as loud as I'd like.

I have small ears and for the first time I actually found a pair of headphones that lets ME choose the size of the ear-buds. Not only that, it comes with a nub that you secure into the upper part of your ear and it holds them snug in your ear without any pain!

The headphones can play bass in a way I find satisfactory. I can hear it and that is what matters most. However, the volume level in it's entirety is far to quiet for my liking. I like my music LOUD! I do like the extra volume control on the wire; it provides a quick way...

I have been searching high and low for the Homedics Shiatsu Pillow; a pillow which can withstand me laying down right on it with minimal loss of massaging force. I am glad, however, I didn't buy this for the heating element. The massagers turn red to tell you the heating function is on but you wouldn't know it when using the pillow. The size is great though and I love the fact it doesn't run on batteries! I could do without the noise but if the noise means a stronger massage, I'm sold! Yet, If I use it to long, I do wake up the next day sore.

The power of the massagers may be to much for some. I wouldn't exactly call it relaxing but for me it is just right. I am the type of person where when somebody is massaging my back I am constantly asking them to push harder. The unfortunate massager quickly buckles under the pressure and walks away with sore thumbs and the feeling they may have injured me; I'm left with an unsatisfied tense back and neck.

     After reading the description on the back of the package, I figured the Philips Comfortable and Secure was exactly what I needed. After trying them on, however, I realised although they are soft and flexible, they will NOT stay on my ears when exercising because my ears are to small. They are definately not made for bass lovers; yet they boast, "Bass pipe acoustically tuned air channel turbo-charges bass notes".
    I thought to myself, "Ok, well I will just use them when sitting at my computer." WRONG! I plugged them into my computer and tried to sit back as I felt them slip off my ears and rest next to my computer and to where the wire's reach comes to an end.

   I figured maybe I shouldn't be slouching back in my chair anyways; it's bad posture after all. I plugged them back in my ears and sat straight up in my chair as close to my computer as I could get and turned on the tunes. The headphones made even the heaviest of bass tunes sound like a chorus of violins and snare...

    I stumbled upon "Glove In A Bottle" when picking up my prescriptions at the local pharmacy. In fact, I had seen it in many pharmacies for years previously but only this time did it spark my interest. The words, "Like an invisible pair of gloves, skin care that works" really spoke to me. I am a frequent hand washer and my hands are ALWAYS dry. Putting lotion on only seems like a losing battle because it is only going to get washed off minutes later. I looked up reviews and found only one from an elderly woman claiming that it was the best investment she had ever made (when it came to lotions).

    So, I did it. I grabbed an 8oz. bottle for $12.99 +tax and headed home for a trial run. I was so excited while reading more of the bottle, "Comes off naturally with exfoliated skin cells"! To me that meant it was water AND soap resistant. Just what I needed!

After my bath that night, I used it on my hands because they always feel the driest after soaking in a warm bath. I was......

The SVP brand name is the first thing I should've considered before purchasing this Digital HDDV 2300. SVP has a notorious reputation of producing less then acceptable products. I wanted this camera because of what the description had listed "11 Mega Pixels Max" and it came with what they call a "flash". However, I call it a bright spotlight that blinds any living thing you point it at with little improvement in compensating for darker surroundings. (It's an LED flash/spotlight.)

The price on this at the time was approximately $80 which was a decent sale price. Considering the regular price was $159.00. I figured how can I go wrong when working with 11 Mega Pixels at such a great price, right? No. In fact that 11 Mega Pixels is what is called in the photography trade as interpolation.

I purchased this book reading others reviews. It seemed
to be a promising jewelry making endeavor. However,
you may have noticed the title of my review, "You want me
to do WHAT?". That right there sums up exactly how I
feel about this book.

The jewelry is beautiful (although I'd change the colors up
a bit) but I have no clue how to put them together! I have
many jewelry making books and have learned many techniques but
this book has techniques I haven't even tried yet and with this
book I will never learn how.

First, it shows you pictures of what the finished product
will look like. Then it basically shows you a pattern and
says, DO IT. Doesn't say how, just put that flower together and
hook it here. THAT is my biggest problem with this whole book.

I will admit that it IS titled "Bead Fantasies IV". Which means
there are 3 others out there. It is possible that somewhere in
the first three it teaches you HOW to do the techniques that
are required for THIS book. If that is in fact the case, I would

This is the first book I studied to learn how to practice aromatherapy. I kept it at my side for months for reference! It has everything you need to know to start practicing yourself.

This book has so much to offer it's hard to explain all of it at once. What it says at the bottom of the cover of the book says it all.

"Over 600 Natural, Non-toxic & Fragrant Recipes to Create Health, Beauty and A Safe Home Environment."

It guides you on how to use them safely for every day ailments such as headaches, colds, scrapes, burns, mood and so much more! I find most of them to be very useful but my favorite is using them to adjust my moods. Certain oils have certain effects when using them in different ways. I add Lavender and Chamomile in my bath at night to help me sleep and to unwind after a long day. I have an aromatherapy diffuser necklace which I place Geranium in to keep me in a good mood all day! I have tried this brand/website many times with poor results. The shipping price is great as well as the vitamin prices. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for.

Here is an example for you, I have a problem with keeping my iron up. I get my iron checked regularly. I tried a taking the recommended dosage of one of their more potent iron supplements a day before as well as the morning of my next check up. My iron level remained unchanged. My mother sent me an expensive bottle of equal amount of potency and I did the same thing (recommended dosage the day before and the morning of) and my iron turned up in a healthy range.

I have had similar experiences with different supplements of theirs and of other more expensive brands. Same results every time.

However, as far as pricing goes, they have GREAT prices and low shipping costs. Their shipping method is very fast. They often have deals that help you to save even MORE and with the pros I still continue to TRY their products. I think this last......

I own about 26 parakeets (they keep having babies). I have owned parakeets for 24 years. They are beautiful and have different songs for their different moods. My children love them (even the ones that bite :)

It takes time and patience to tame a parakeet and it is much easier to do the less you have. However, I find that even with the amount I have it just depends on their individual personalities. Their experience with people also plays a big role.
For example, my cousin adopted a parakeet from an elementary school. Due to the children constantly poking at it through the cage with pencils, the bird became the worst behaved bird I have ever encountered! In order to feed her, we had to wear a leather glove because she would attack without hesitation.
Many people believe that having only one would make training it easier, which in some ways is true. The problem with that is they are forcing the bird to become their friend by subjecting it to a period of great loneliness. Parakeets NEED to......

I stumbled on this website as I was browsing the "GADGETS" for my Google Homepage. I was skeptical at first because nothing is ever free! Well, I clicked on their link and every WORKING link was completely free! Today, as a matter of fact, I received a free journal I ordered through TotallyFreeCrap. The journal is wonderful because it is meant for people with depression to write in and that is exactly what I needed. It even came with a nifty pen that shortens for easy storage on the attached elastic on the side of the book!
The only downside is when I see something I would really like to have and either the link isn't any good, or they ran out of stock.

I am very happy with this book. It teaches how to knot a bead thread, make a wire loop, about all the different things beads can be made of, and most importantly how to make a great bracelet or necklace!
At the beginning there are even a few pages of just pictures of beautiful jewelry that others have made to help inspire the reader to make their own designs. When I have a few favorite beads I want to use and no ideas as to how to make them the best they can be, I refer to this book.
I really can't afford to use as many of the high end beads they ask for (in one project you need 320 5mm tourmaline cubes!) so I usually just substitute for a different cheaper gemstone such as fluorite. There are ways around just about anything when it comes to making jewelry and this book does require some, that is, unless you have a lot of money to spend.
All in all I am very happy with this book and would recommend it to the beginner as well as the advanced user (because even if you know how to do everything......

I have purchased many jewelry making books and this is the one I refer to the most. The instructions are so easy to follow (and look up) that when I am making my own designs, I look up how to add "this" a certain way to "that" (I have a terrible memory so I am looking up the same stuff over and over again.)
One day I am hoping to sell beads and bead projects to support my jewelry making habits and this book has a lot of good advice on that subject.
The projects are fairly easy but there are way to few of them. However, my own point to buying the book was to LEARN HOW to do what it takes to make a great piece of jewelry and not necessarily make each of the book's projects.
All in all I am extremely happy with this purchase, it has opened my eyes to a new hobby and given me something I can be proud of myself for!

I admit I have shopped with them a few times but every product I have tried and used for the specified amount of time has done absolutely nothing for me. Once, I purchased a kit which was suppose to produce a matte effect on my oily face. It made it WORSE! I continued to use it still with no progress in sight. I received a puffy eye reducer and it's only effect was to successfully make my mascara put slight black smudges every time I blinked through out the day. I was constantly having to look in the mirror and rub it off.
My personal opinion is they make the prices SO high that when they tell you are getting 50-60% off, that is the actual price they want for it.
So, if you are addicted to shopping and enjoy getting free gifts, Yves is a fun place to do it. If you are looking for good quality items and think that their high prices suggest that they are in fact just that, I would think again....

This book has a lot of interesting techniques, I do refer to it often when making MY OWN jewelry. I found that more often then not, the projects look more like they belong on the models on the runway where the outfits are more for show than wear. All and all for the beginner looking to learn some different techniques I would recommend this. For the more experienced I would recommend looking elsewhere.
There are a set of "bracelets" that are made basically taking two different colored wires and just wrapping them up in a circle and using one of them to wrap it around it to hold it together. They actually remind me of when I buy small amounts (20 feet or so) from a small business, they send it to me looking just like those "bracelets".
