DTKMKihn says "Target Milk Based Formula Saves Money without the Sacrifice" about Target Milk Based Powder Infant Formula

My son was just 6 months old when I had to suddenly wean him due to medications I needed to take. Until that time the free samples from the name brand formulas were filling the gaps between my pumped milk and his hunger. All of a sudden I was going to need a lot of formula, and my family didn't have a lot of extra money.

I went to Target to buy some name brand formula with a coupon I had, but quickly discovered that Target Brand Milk Based Formula was less expensive than the name brand even after the coupon. I bought the Target Brand, and never looked back.

My son loved the Target Brand Formula, he continued to develop and grow as expected, and my family's budget didn't suffer from name brand formula prices. Now that I have twins on the way, I know where to get the extra formula I'll need.
...

DTKMKihn says "Purina Cat Chow meets the different needs of my 4 cats & hedgie" about Purina Cat Chow

I struggled for almost a year trying to find the right cat food to feed my cats. It wasn't until we adopted our hedgehog Danger that we found a food that was affordable and worked for all the cats.

We have 4 cats in our home. All of them are older (7 and up), and all have different needs. Our older male gets urinary crystals, and we have to be very careful what we feed him or he will have a UTI. Our purebred Burmese on the otherhand is 8 years old and has a sensitive stomach. The food that we had been using to keep our male healthy began to make our Burmese throw up after every meal. I started buying different foods, but the male would show signs of a UTI or the Burmese would begin throwing up again.

I started using one of Purina's other cat foods, and it was working for both cats (the other 2 will eat anything), but it was hard to find in a decent sized bag and quite expensive.

After using the other food for several months, we brought home our hedgehog Danger who happened...
...

I first joined BabyFit.com when I was in the planning stages of my second pregnancy. I quickly became involved in the Preconception Message Board and found great support from the ladies on there. I continued to use the website while trying to conceive my son, and was able to join the April 2006 moms after my second month of trying. I was there throughout my pregnancy and continued to find support and help during his newborn days.

BabyFit has so many FREE tools to use in planning a healthy pregnancy. There are 3 plans to choose from; Preconception, Pregnancy, and Post Pregnancy. The post pregnancy plan allows you to choose between breast feeding, bottle feeding or both. When you set up your plan you will have a nutrition tracker with recommend goals for calories, protein and other nutrients. You can also tailor the plan if you are working with a dietician. BabyFit also has Weight and Fitness Trackers that allow you to customize based on your indivdual needs.

DTKMKihn says "NYC Liquid Eyeliner gives great definition for a low price!" about New York Color NYC Liquid Eyeliner

I have tried several brands of liquid eyeliner. None of the brands compare to New York Color liquid eyeliner! The matte finish allows the eyeliner to stand out. So many other brands have a metallic liner (even though it doesn't say so on the packaging) that allows the eyeliner to blend right into your eye shadow. I have used both the brown and black liquid eyeliners and love the look I get.

The eyeliner is long lasting. I put it on at 7 a.m. and still look good at 7 p.m. even on days when my allergies are bothering me. Some eyeliners fade off quickly, but not this one.

The price of New York Color Liquid Eyeliner can't be beat either. It's less than $2 but outlasts and out defines the other brands!
...

DTKMKihn says "Playtex Ventaire Nursers Bottle Feeding my Nursed Baby Easy" about Playtex Ventaire Baby Bottles

The Playtex Ventaire Nurser bottles were the perfect way to switch back and forth between nursing my son and bottle feeding him. He needed to be supplemented with formula early on, and not once did I have trouble with him not accepting the Nurser nipple or mine. The nipple made it even easier for me to return to work, because he didn't mind drinking pumped milk from the bottle.

I chose the Ventaire because I disliked the waste that comes with drop-in liners for other nurser bottles. I also liked the vent system because he was able to take his time, and not stop to let air into the bottle. He also spit up a lot less using these versus the drop-in bottles. I quickly got rid of all the drop-in bottles and stuck exclusively to the Ventaire Nursers. Playtex now makes the BPA free and I am letting friends and family know that they would make a great gift for my twins due in October.
...

DTKMKihn says "Baby Bjorn Original Carrier is essential for new parents" about Babybjorn Original Baby Carrier

I received the Baby Bjorn Original Baby Carrier as a gift while pregnant with my first child. I was so excited because I had heard what a great carrier it was, and I was going to be able to try it out.

When my daughter was born, I realized quickly that she wanted to be held constantly. Within a week she met the weight requirements and I was able to clean house, garden, and grocery shop while she sat contented and cozy in the carrier.

I used the carrier again when my son was born. I loved being able to play with my daughter and still have my son with me.

Both times I was sad when my kids outgrew the carrier, but was happy with how long they were able to be in it.

The only downfall was that when the weather was really warm out, and both my kids were born in warm weather, you and baby get sweaty.
...

DTKMKihn says "Nothing Generic About Target Brand Diapers" about Target Brand Diapers

I have tried all of the diaper brands, and I keep going back to Target for their excellent and inexpensive diapers. I have used them with both of my children. I have never had a problem with leakage, or skin irritation when using Target Brand diapers. They have a great fit that worked well on my skinny daughter, and my more chunky son.

My daughter has very sensitive skin, and she was almost exclusively a Target Brand diaper baby. I started using them because of how inexpensive they were, but quickly loved the fact that they weren't scented.

Another reason they didn't irritate her skin, is unlike other inexpensive diapers, Target Brand Diapers have a nice soft feel to them. They don't feel plastic, and use velcro like the name brands to fasten.

Why pay twice as much for other brands? The inexpensive Target Brand Diaper is all I needed.
...
