CorbinsMommy says "Loud & Scary" about Graco NasalClear Aspirator

My husband and I bought the Graco NasalClear Aspirator for our son. It was getting close to cold & flu season, and last year, as a newborn, we had much difficulty using the usual bulb aspirator. It was like a wrestling match, even with a newborn.

This year, we didn't want to wrestle with an 18 month old child who still can't quite blow his nose on his own, though try as he might. We saw this product and thought that it would be a quick and simple solution to the winter months and stuff noses ahead of us.

The aspirator has a music button that plays a tune for a short period, I'm assuming to calm them while you use the aspirator. However, the noise the actual aspirator makes is so much louder than the actual music that is used to try to soothe the child.

When we first opened the product, our son was curious about the new gadget, as most toddlers are. He was a little stuffy, so we decided to try it out and see how it actually worked. We turned the music on, and while my husband...
...

CorbinsMommy says "By Far The Best" about Nathan's Hot Dogs

I have to say, especially after my pregnancy, I have had a lot of hot dogs. My husband is also a butcher, and has made me particular to different cuts and brands of meat.

I still eat several hot dogs, they are my go to food, like most would pick pizza. I came upon a coupon for Nathan's brand of hot dogs, and thought that I would try them. I usually ignored them because of their price. But after purchasing them, I found they are worth the price.

I found them to be better than obviously Oscar Meyer and Ball Park, but also Boar's Head and Essem Hot Dogs. My son prefers them as well. The casing doesn't seem as thick as the other brands we have had, making it easier for him to chew, and less work for me as I don't have to try to peel the casing off.
...

CorbinsMommy says "Doesn't Hold Crayons" about Crayola Tadoodles Crayon Buddies

When my son first started using crayons and markers in play group, I thought that it was time to purchase his own set of crayons for home. My husband was a little more leary about the crayon idea, and found this product, Crayola Tadoodle.

The characters are cute. However, they are bulky, and they do not hold the crayon in. My son is easily able to pull the crayon out of the tadoodle character, and has a hard time grasping the actual character.

Seems like a great concept to help toddlers, but in reality, was just a bad design.
...

CorbinsMommy says "Colorful" about Crayola Bathtub Tints

We bought these for my son, thinking they would be great for him since his age said he was too young for the bath markers. He did really enjoy taking a bath in different colored water. However, you have to put in 3 or 4 tablets to get a good coloring in the water. Just the recommended 1 or 2 barely even tints the water. Other than that, I think it's a great product. It just gets expensive after a while since there are not many tablets in the package and you need so many of them to actually get the full affect of water coloring.
...

CorbinsMommy says "Not Tear Free" about Huggies Natural Care Baby Shampoo

I bought this and the body wash because my son has baby eczema and thought that since this was hypoallergenic that it would be better for his skin. Not only did it do nothing for his skin, his eczema got worse. And when a little soap ran down his face into his eyes he started screaming and his eyes got all red. After trying it on myself after that I found that it burned my eyes. Do not use this product.
...

CorbinsMommy says "Is ok, but wish I passed on it" about Vtech Sit-to-Stand Dancing Tower

My son likes this toy but it doesn't keep his attention for long. It definitely was not worth the money we paid for it, and we got it on sale. The music is inaudible at best. It gets plenty loud enough, you can just barely understand what it's saying.
...
