Cinderelly13 says "Starts out GREAT . . ." about Breaking Bad

but then strings one along a bit, and has been picking up the pace again recently. Episode 7 just aired, and starting Sunday, March 16th, AMC will begin airing the shows from the beginning again. Episodes 1 and 2 can also be seen on AMCtv.com.

"Breaking Bad" is about a high school chemistry teacher who leads a rather mundane life until just after his 50th birthday, then discovers that he has lung cancer. Having a teenage son with disabilities and his wife being pregnant, he stumbles upon an idea and opportunity to try to make big money by using his chemistry knowledge to manufacture extremely pure methamphetamine.

The adventures that then ensue are nothing that the "average guy" could begin to imagine going thru. I don't want to give things away, but recommend one to just watch the show.

The only drawback to the show thus far is that it doesn't appear totally realistic as far as those who smoke meth in the show on a regular basis having the behaviour of which I have heard is associated...
...

Cinderelly13 says "Classy lady creating simple, GREAT Italian meals!" about Everyday Italian

Giada's show often is also very educational as to how foods are created: cheeses, pastas, etc. She never seems to be in a hurry while cooking, and truly enjoying what she's doing. Just seeing her beautiful smile makes me smile too.

I noticed that sometimes the meals Giada creates are vegetarian, which is great, as I'm trying to impress more of these types of meals upon my husband for health reasons, as he eats too much red meat.

...

Cinderelly13 says "TOO MUCH! She has too much energy for me: is loud & annoying" about 30-Minute Meals with Rachael Ray

Sorry, Rachel, I was a fan at first, but too much talking and being somewhat loud has gotten to me. I will watch only occasionally if a recipe is of interest. Nor does the "garbage bowl" bit impress me, as I am a big recycler, and now I see it being sold for $15-$20: you won't catch me buying it.

LOVE that Giada: calm, smiley and does things with class. Miss seeing a lot of Emeril, too.
...

Cinderelly13 says "Long lived product for the price" about Krups Cofee Grinder - 203-42

Have owned one of these units for close to 20 years, and it continues to grind-on!

Although I don't use it on a daily basis, and it gets used only for coffee, I find it easy to use. If I grind the beans too long, though, the coffee is harder to get out of the grinder.

I've considered buying another one of these specifically for grinding herbs, but may opt for a mini food processor instead that has removable blades for cleaning that I can get on sale for less than $10.
...

Cinderelly13 says "GREAT coffeemaker (received for free as intro pkg)." about Gevalia CM-500 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker

Personally, I have a preference to use a coffemaker that does not have a hot plate, as was my last coffeemaker (an Oster with carafe), but still do not allow the hotplate to remain on for long: I make a full pot and then fill a large (glass lined) thermos with the coffee.

The only other issues I have with this coffeemaker is that the area for which to pour the water is somewhat small, as I pour water from a gallon jug (bottled water) and therefore becomes awkward, but recently purchased a new funnel specifically for pouring the water into the coffeemaker. Also, with the water level gage being on the same side of the coffeemaker as where the water is added, its harder to keep an eye on the level while pouring the water in.
...
