Chubbydeer says "Will never go back to traditional can openers" about Zyliss Can Opener

We got this as a gift and although I'm not sure how this compares to other premium can openers, but this is working great for us. The cutting wheel has stayed sharp for 6 years, and you will not run into the same problems as with traditional can openers such as the knife getting dull, can not opening all the way, having to use a lot of power to open cans, etc. Love it, love it, love it! The maybe one complaint I have is that the current model is not as stylish as the one we have. ...

Chubbydeer says "Great blender, better if you can get it on sale though" about Cuisinart SmartPower Premier 600-Watt Blender

Well, it is not a vitamix, but considering the price I paid for it, $70, it is a good blender. It does every job well and has not yet broken down. I find it to be a lot better than cheaper blenders that don't have the 600 watts which the is least amount of power, I think, to crush ice and make smoothies, frappes and cocktails.

The only problem I have with it is that when I make smoothes, although the drink comes out well blended, both the fruit peices and ice pieces are a bit course, but still a good smoothie.

Also, I think that cuisinart blenders in general are very reliable. I've had another one before this one that lasted me 10 years before I sold it in a garage sale.
...

Chubbydeer says "Looks great, works great, will have to see about durability" about Whirlpool Washer - WFW8400T

We bought this machine because consumer reports said whirlpool has the least number of break downs for front loading washers

The amount of space is just about right for a 2-3 person household. It gets items really really clean. It's fast, quiet, water efficient etc =P I am not sure about durability as we have just gotten two months ago. Will update if anything goes wrong.

If you are buying the set for an apartment, be sure to measure the amount of space instead of just listening to the salesman who will say this is a good unit for apartments because it is smaller than the Whirlpool duet (non sport). Also take into account the amount of space needed for the exhaust pipe for the dryer and that you can open the detergent dish thinging if it is behind a closet door.

A lot of the reviews I read encourage people to buy an extended warrantee on this. If you want to save money, I'd suggest buying a warrantee on the washer but not the dryer. Another thing I found out from the reviews......

Chubbydeer says "Great camera, but..." about Sony - Cybershot W55 Digital Camera

I was given this camera as a gift and find this camera to be great in every way, such as great price, easy to use, clear pictures, convenient to carry, stylish, never given me problems, battery lasts a long time, except...

The only problem I have with it is that it has no motion sensor, or image stabilizer or don't know what you call it. This is actually a huge problem for us because my mom travels a lot and a lot of the times she has to ask other people to take pictures for her, and a lot of times the pictures turn out slightly blurry. But I guess for the price that is okay =P
...

Chubbydeer says "Really cuts grease" about Dawn Dishwashing Liquid

I noticed that dawn cuts grease a lot better than other advertised brands and also that a bottle would last longer many years ago and have alway stuck with this brand. It has remained the same quality through the years. I really don't have much else to say but this site requires that I use at least 250 words, so just to mention the other attribute that it smells great!...

Chubbydeer says "There is nothing better I could ask for..." about Samsung SyncMaster 191T+ Monitor

There is just nothing more I can expect from this computer monitor. I love it! I bought it two years back for $190 + Tax Canadian, and it has never given me problems =P No dead pixels, clear picture, and the price, what more can I ask for? The only maybe downside is that the design isn't as 'new' as it could be nowadays. ...
