Cherylr96 says "Carnival Cruise on Elation from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas" about Carnival Cruise Lines - Elation

When we tried to get into our room upon first boarding the ship, our key would not open the room. After a few minutes contemplating the situation and trying to figure out why we couldn't open the door, a young couple opened the door. They were in our room. We asked how they got in there and they stated that one of the cruise ship staff let them in. We were furious! They had been rolling around in our bed, used our bathroom, and sampled the snacks in our room. We went to the help desk and let them know what had happened. They said they would send in housekeeping to clean the room again...that's it! That is all they did to make up for the situation that was their fault. The customer service was definitely lacking. Otherwise, the cruise was a little boring for my taste. Mostly younger rowdy crowd at the pool. The music on the ship was loud everywhere. No peace and quit anywhere except for the room. Not as relaxing as I would have liked. Our waiter at dinner service every night was fabulous......
