Fisher Price has always pleased me with their toys, especially when I think about how much fun my children have had with their Little People sets. I purchased the Little People barnyard/farm set for my son for his first birthday and he played and played with it for hours. Now my daughter is almost one and she loves to play with the barnyard as well. We have enjoyed it so much that we have even purchased the additional playsets that go with it. The animals are so cute, some even have hair or felt feathers and there is even a farmer figure. I love how the barn makes animal noises when you open the door to where that specific animal needs to go. There is so much that my son and daughter can do with this set and they pretend play with it together now and it is so cute. I highly recommend getting the barnyard set first if you are considering any Little People toy, especially if you are a first time mom as it will be popular with all your future kids no matter what gender they are.

I purchased 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels after several of my friends suggested that I try the dvd to lose my extra baby fat. It is a great work out and is only 20 minutes long, so it is easy to fit in during my busy day. There are 3 levels and I am still at the beginning level because but hope to move to the mid-level soon.

I have naturally curly hair and purchased a chi after getting my hair cut above my shoulders so that I could straighten it out with ease. I purchased my Chi at Walgreens and it was a reasonable price as they can be quite pricey. The chi that I purchased has an American Flag design on it which is cute. I love the extra long cord (just like they have at beauty salons) and it heats up super fast. It really does do a great job at straightening my hair, much better then other brands like Conair, but sometimes I do still need to straighten some sections more then once. I can feel that it is a lot hotter as it steams sometimes as I use it and my old flat iron did not do this while I used it. Also, it has a red light that comes on when it is in the on position, which is great, because you know if you have left it on. I really believe this is the best flat iron out there and on the market! Mine even came with some chi hair care products, which was great as I love trying new hair care products and...

My brother purchased Sophie the Giraffe off of Amazon for my daughter, and when I first saw it I thought it looked like a dog toy because it squeeks and is made of rubber! But, I looked it up online and found out that it is MUCH more then that. First off, the spots on the giraffe give babies a great contrast while looking she looks at Sophie, and also the legs, neck, etc. offer great teething comfort, at least my daughter loves to chomp on Sophie's legs. Also, Sophie will squeek when she has been nibbled on in just the right spot, which gives my daughter great delight, too! Sophie can stand up and I love to set her on a table and my daughter will knock her over. If you are worried about your child chewing on a rubber toy, you can find comfort in knowing that Sophie is BPA free. I did not realize this but Vulli sells many other baby toys and I may try some of their other toys out as they are all so unique and safe. I am so glad my brother purchased Sophie for my daughter, it is one of her...

The cost of this feeding table is insanely ridiculous, but after having our second child and using it for hours each day, it was worth every penny. The child sits in it and there is a large, and I mean large table so they can play with toys, eat, etc. This table will not tip so it is safe to leave them in it to run to another room to get something, etc. It is fantastic and both my kids just loved playing and eating in it. They sell seat covers for the seat, so that the cover can just be thrown in the wash if they make a really huge mess at lunch or dinner. It also adjusts to two heights and we even got a chair free with it that I sit on when I give the kids their baths as it sits low. I do wish the seatbelt was a bit better on it, as its hard to figure out how to put it back on after washing the seat liner. Lastly, the table folds up, with each leg folding into the center so that you can store it or take it along with you on trips at ease.

I bought the Britax Marathon carseat at Target after hearing several compliments on how safe and how long this carseat lasts since the weight limit is 20-65 lbs. The only problem we have had with this carseat is my son used to slip his arms out of it at 2 years old, but it was a phase and I believe he could have done it with any carseat. The carseat is comfortable and we have taken a lot of long trips and my son has never complained about being uncomfortable. It is expensive, but I bought mine on sale so it wasn't so bad. The Britax Marathon also comes in a lot of beautiful fabrics/prints such as a cow print, polka dot, pink, etc. When we purchased our Marathon, we purchased it for our son, so of course we were stuck with a plain gray color, however, now it will work for when we transition our daughter to the seat. Also, the seat is easy to wash and we have several times as my son can be quite the mess maker.

Two of my friends have New Native baby carrier/slings and I took their advice and purchased one for myself off of their website. I got a huge discount on my sling because I bought one with an imperfection that they fixed and then shipped to me. I spent maybe $35 with tax and a brand new one is double that price plus shipping. As soon as I got my sling I put my baby in it and she fell asleep. I believe the New Native mimics the feeling of the womb as my baby was snug as a bug in there and as I walked around she got the same feeling as if she were inside me. This sling was a lifesaver for her fussy moments and for when I needed to get things done around the house or had to run errands with her and my 3 year old. I am considering a different sling now as she is getting heavy and the weight is all on one shoulder so I may purchase a baby carrier that distributes weight on both shoulders equally, but I used my New Native every day for the first 5 months. I highly recommend it as I believe slings...

When my son turned 3 I wanted to introduce him to his first board game and I decided to buy Candyland. The reason I chose Candyland is because I remember playing the game as a child and enjoying it. The game says on the box that it is for ages 3 and up and so I decided it would be perfect to give to my son on his third birthday. The first time I played the game with him we both picked out our character pieces and he was excited that there was a yellow character piece as yellow is his favorite color. Then we would select cards and move our characters based on the color card we had drawn. My son knows his colors and had no trouble moving his character to the correct color. Then, sometimes you will draw a picture card and can move your character either forward or backward, depending on where the picture is on the board. My son got a huge kick out of this as he loved the names of the pictures such as 'Gloppy', etc. I highly recommend this for a first game at the preschool age.

My son has been in love with trains lately so we decided to get him the Imaginarium Classic Train Table with Roundhouse Wooden Train Set from Toys R Us. I waited till we had a 20% off coupon to Toys R Us and then we saved a lot of money on this train table which normally retails for around $159. I researched train tables before we decided on the Imaginarium train table and it is a LOT cheaper then the Thomas the Train table plus you would have to buy the wooden track sets for it. The Imagninarium train table comes with the wooden table with two large drawers, then the table top is decorated with a scene of water, trees, etc. for you to lay the wooden trian tracks on. It came with an entire train track set that has a bridge, crane and even the tracks make noises in certain spots when you roll your train over it. The Imaginarium train table also came with trains, cars, people and even a helicopter. It was such a great deal and my son is still playing with it every day!

We got a letter in the mail to attend a baby seminar and so my husband and I went to see what it was about. We found out it was a man selling Babee Tenda products, and I was excited to find this out because my mom had used a Babee Tenda high chair on my brother when we were kids. So, of course, I purchased the $350 (I kid you not!) Baby Tenda high chair for my son to be. Let me just tell you this, my son LOVED the Baby Tenda high chair almost as much as we did! Not only is it a high chair but it is a play table that we could sit him in and the table is really large and square so we set all his toys up on it and he'd play and watch tv while I'd cook dinner. The high chair is so safe, too, as you cannot tip it over if you put your weight on any of the sides. It can fold up for storage by tucking all of the legs inside the chair. Also, the table slides out and you can put a chalk board in if you flip the table over. The chair has a stap that holds your child in and you can also recline the...

My husband purchased a Dell Inspiron 1501 for me for my birthday a couple of years ago. He was given a color choice and selected pink for me when he purchased the laptop online. Well, he waited and waited and waited till my birthday had come and gone and he had no gift for me! It turns out that the Dell factory was having trouble with painting the color on the laptops and there was a huge delay by several months. My husband decided to cancel my order and we went to Wal-Mart and purchased my Dell there with just the gray color on the top of the laptop. They weren't having trouble with the gray color but they were with certain colors like the pink, blue, white, etc. Also, another small problem that we ran into was that Vista was the only operating system they sold on the Inspiron's. The laptop has been wonderful to have for the last two years, I keep it on most of the day and it has never given me any problems.
