CarlyRV says "Homemade Bread at a Fraction of Bakery Store Prices" about Magic Chef CBM310

My Magic Chef one and a half pound breadmaker works just as great today as it did when it was new. It has NEVER failed me.

I still have the owner's manual / recipe book and the directions are simple and easy to follow. BUT. I also I use other bread maker recipes and regular bread recipes as well. You can add fresh oats, sesame, sunflower or poppy seeds to almost any recipe and it tastes wonderful and adds fiber to your diet. I always at least add one of those and use whole wheat flour for part of the bread flour. You get to eat really healthy bread with NO preservatives, nothing in it that you can't pronounce.

I love the fact that I can put my ingredients in, select the cycle and delay the start (up to 13 hours) and wake up to the smell of fresh-baked bread. Yum, warm bread with breakfast and enough for sandwiches too. The loaves make very big sandwiches for my hard working hubby and his co-workers are all jealous of his lunches.

The loaves are square and I use a miter box for bread...
...

CarlyRV says "Holds a whole chicken with room for tons of veggies" about Rival Crock pot 7 Quart

I have used a Rival 4 qt crock- pot for years and I always had to cut up my chicken into pieces and cut a large roast in two, three or more pieces. I LOVE THIS new Rival 7 quart CROCK POT. The first thing I cooked in it was a large roast with four whole potatoes and a pound of carrots, and it looked like there was room to fit twice as much food in it. A LARGE stewing chicken fits with room to spare. There's only two of us (empty nesters) so I crock pot meal lasts several days, I put the removable crock with lid in my refridgerator. Easy clean up when you're done too. Lots of recipes that can be found online - I can't wait to try. I might try baking bread in it when it's too hot to use the oven (live in Florida). The family favorite so far is Taco Chicken - so easy. Remove skin, sprinkle package of taco seasoning all over the chicken. Low fat too with skin and extra lumps of fat removed from bird. GREAT product....

CarlyRV says "KitchenAid best dishwasher I've ever had" about KitchenAid built in Tall Tub

I have had 11 different dishwashers and this tall tub built in KitchenAid is the BEST dishwasher I've ever had !! Of course it has an upper and lower spray arm and is easy to load in different configerations. It has a rinse only cycle that I use alot, because it holds a TON of dishes - like service for 10-12. The removable silverware basket is narrow and fits all the way accross the side or the front or in between rows of pins in the bottom but some times I remove it altogether. It has a tall tub - so my largest platters, all of my 1/2 gallon and 1 gallon pitchers fit and most of my cookie sheets FIT in the bottom rack. The last row of pins can be unlocked to lay down so a deep casserole dish or pots and pans, even crock pot liners fit. It's quiteter and washes dishes cleaner than any other I've used. If you can't afford the 900 price tag, shop at a scratch and dent place - you will LOVE this dishwasher! Picture attached not even full yet, could hold 3 more plates at least,......

CarlyRV says "If your friends borrow it, you'll have to beg for it back." about Bissell Quick Steam Machine Vacuum

Don't let your friends know you have one of these, it's hard to get them to give it back. I borrowed one, and kept it over a month... Then I bought my own - This is my second one, the first one worked great for 10 years (with several new brushes) & it would still be going strong except my friend borrowed it once too often. It broke because it was used without the plastic filer cover and sponge on it.

I have 4 pets and use it for pet clean up, traffic areas, wall to wall carpets and tile floors too. I have used it to clean the filthy screen porch floor (painted cement) and many times sucked up minor flooding by the patio door, and even confess to using the shower head to rinse the bathroom floor and suck up the dirt & dust with it - keeping my bathroom tile floor looking spotless. Yes, I do have to throw down a towel and push it around with my foot afterwords, it does leave some water on tile floors.

I love the feature changes and improvements on the new one. Both are/were very light-weight,......

CarlyRV says "Perfect for apt., condo, in-law suite, guest or pool house." about Frigidaire Stacked Washer & Dryer

I loved my stacked washer dryer. It's great for singles or couples. It fit in a regular sized double closet, next to the water-heater. Hubby hooked it up in less than 1/2 hour and I was doing laundry. It washed very well, worked GREAT. I especially liked having the dryer at eye level, and found it easy to reach into. However, king-sized quilts or king bedspreads do not fit, which is okay if they have to be dry-cleaned, but a pain if you have to go to a laundry-mat. King sized sheet sets do fit along with a few hand towels. This is a perfect sized for singles, couples,

Cons: this probably would not be the best size for a large family - unless every member does their own, (not a bad idea), nor for someone who prefers to do the whole weeks laundry at one time like my mom did.

I purchased mine new and paid less than mfg. retail suggested price. I used it for over a year in the condo. ... then when we were moving, a neighbor down the hall offered to buy it for more than I had paid for it. ......
