CBN says "Not really soft, you just lower into a deeper trench." about Sleep Number Bed - Select Comfort

My husband and I had different comfort levels when it came to mattresses so we decided to purchase the sleep number bed. We purchased ours about 4 or 5 years ago. If you are looking for soft, this is not your bed. I can only speak from my experience and that is that when you lower the sleep number to "soften" the mattress, it just lowers your body into a "trench" which is not particularly any softer.

If you are planning on buying this bed, go to the store and try it one more time and look for what I'm talking about. Really think about whether the bed is getting softer or just lowering you into a hole. Then try to get out of that hole.....it can be funny. Good luck with whatever you decide. Hope this review helps.
...
