I am not one to use fussy gadgets and electric toothbrushes have always seemed like more trouble than they were worth. However, once I tried this Sonicare Elite toothbrush, I was completely sold! Every time I brush my teeth, they feel so smooth and clean, like I have just been to the dentist! The toothbrush is easy to use because you hold it in a quadrant of your mouth for about 20 seconds at a time. The toothbrush does the rest of the work! It shuts off after 2 minutes, so you know you have thoroughly cleaned your teeth. After using the toothbrush for several months and going to the dentist for my annual check-up, I had noticeable less tartar build-up. What was once an ocassonally painful process of having my teeth scraped was now a non-issue. Though the years, I have continued with the toothbrush and have the same great results. This Kodak Easy Share C360 camera has been the perfect first camera for our just teenage daughter. It is very easy to use and takes great pictures! It can be as simple as setting the camera on AUTO and letting it do all the work to choosing some of the more advanced features, such as portrait, fireworks, sunset, etc. I must say, we have not noticed as much of a difference when using these advanced features, but the camera takes wonderful pictures on AUTO! My daughter has been using this camera for several years now and several of the photograghs she has taken with it have won awards at our county fair. The LCD screen on the back of the camera is large enough that you can see the photographs you have just taken very well. You can also use the eye viewer to take pictures, if you are more comfortable taking pictures that way. Software is included with the camera that makes loading the pictures onto our computer very simple and then they can be editted, printed, shared, and saved...

This Uniden Cordless Phone Model #DXAI 8580-2 had two phone handsets included. The first handset goes on the main unit where the answering machine is and the second unit plugs into the wall to charge. You do not need to have a phone jack for the second handset because it works off the signal from the base. I thought this would be a great feature since I wanted to put it in a room where I did not have a phone jack. I am finding this does not work as well as I had hoped. This second handset does not have as strong of a signal back to the base. Even though our house is not that large, the second handset does not clearly transmit throughout the house. The room I have it in is upstairs and I usually have to go downstairs near the base to have reception with this handset. Usually, this is not a huge issue for me, as I use the main handset 80% of the time, but I am still disappointed that I cannot use both handsets 100% of the time. After considerable reasearch on new mowers, we set off to purchase the Toro Recycler Mower Model #20332. It wasn't our most exciting shopping trip - who likes to spend money on something like a mower? However, this mower seemed to be a good value for the money and it beat using scissors on our 3/4 of an acre lot. We got the mower home, filled it up with the oil (that was included with our purchase) and pulled the cord to fire it up. Immediately, the mower started up! It has continued to start on the first or second pull everytime - so very nice to be able to count on it starting up so consistently! The mower is also excellent when it comes to mulching up the grass. We had a cooler than normal summer, so the grass was unusually thick and long at this time of year. Our old mulcher had left rows of grass that we had to rake or spread. With this new Toro Recycler Mower Model #20332, there is no obvious grass left behind. It mulches up the grass very effectively! After owning our previous toaster for 20 years, I was excited to get an updated toaster for our kitchen! Not being a very fussy person, I just wanted a simple and inexpensive toaster that met my needs. This Hamilton Beach Model 22604 2-slice toaster was simple, yet also contained a few nice features that made it even better. First of all, the toaster is a stylish chrome and black design. The chrome doesn't get too many fingerprints on it and wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. The outside of the toaster stays cool even though the inside is toasting up our bread or bagels. Inside the toaster, the slice holes are wide so that bagels don't get stuck in them. But, there are wire sides that come in on the toasting product to make sure it is secure and gets toasted evenly. There is a darkness dial to control how dark the bread will be. When the toast comes up, it does not pop loudly like our old toaster. Rather, it comes up very quiertly. This Whirlpool MH2175XSQ-0 microwave was an easy choice for me because I have been impressed with the longevity of the Whirlpool brand since I have been purchasing appliances over the past 17 years. Not only did I choose this microwave because it was made by a trustworthy brand, but because it had a WARM HOLD feature and the ability to turn the turntable on or off. The WARM HOLD feature is great for keeping things warm and helping to raise yeast dough more quickly. Being able to turn off the turntable was important because it gives me the flexibility of putting a 9 X 13 inch pan in the microwave. Another reason I chose this Whirlpool model was because the fan vent at the top does not have slats that face into the room. These tend to collect grease and then dust, making it very difficult to clean. This Whirlpool model had a flat plastic piece with the vent facing up. Installing the microwave ourselves was very easy. Secret Clinical Strength is a product that I think is worth splurging for, even though I am usually very budget conscious. I am also body odor conscious and, with summer here, sleeveless tops and heat, I am always self-conscious of armpit odor. Secret Clinical Strength works great! I feel like it actually reduces the amount that I sweat in my armpits, thus making me feel more confident. My favorite scent is Light and Fresh. I don't use it everyday, but alternate with my regular deodorant. The deodorant directions suggest putting it on at night to get the most out of the product. I usually don't put deodorant on at night, but I must say how much I love going to bed at night with the fresh, light scent. Then, the fact that it works so well the next day is a double bonus! Secret Clinical Strength may cost a little bit more than your average deodorant, but it is well worth the price because it works so effectively.
