BubleFan1 says "Wish it stayed on me longer" about Sarah Jessica Parker COVET Perfume

My kiddo's remembered that Mommy wanted to try the new fragrance called Covet by Sarah Jessica Parker and actually got it for me for Mother's Day (with the help of my boyfriend)! Wow, do I have great kids or what? They actually listened to me and remembered a remark that I made months ago!!! Hmmmm. This may cause me to rethink things... — I've used Covet for a few days now and I really like the way that it smells. It's very feminine and that's what I love!! This particular scent doesn't seem to stay on me all day (neither did Sarah Jessica Parker's other fragrance - Lovely). Darn it! — About this fragrance: — Covet was launched in 2007, it has top notes of wet greens, geranium leaves, Sicilian lemon, lavender and chocolate; a heart of honeysuckle, magnolia and muget, and a base of musk, vetiver, bois de cashmere, teakwood and amber. — Even though the fragrance doesn't stay (fades) on me all day, I still love the...

I love many products from E.L.F. (Eyes, Lips, Face) and you cannot beat their prices!!! Recently I tried their body butters. I bought 3 e.l.f. body butters: Cucumber Melon, Lavender Blossom & Peony Petal. I have only tried the Cucumber Melon so far...one thing at time. At least that's what I'm trying to do these days. I seem to have so many opened items in my bathroom these days! — I did like the feel of Cucumber Melon, the smell is very-very fresh but its too cucumbery (is that a word???) to me. In fact it should be called Cucumber body butter because I can barely smell any melon. — Actually I'm scared to wear it out of the house because I'm afraid that someone will try and eat me!!!! Guess, I'm on the the next scent. —...

BubleFan1 says "One of our home away from homes" about Belle Oaks Inn (B&B) - Gonzales, TX

I discovered Belle Oaks Inn about 5 years ago when I traveled to Gonzales, TX for a "girls trip" with my mom and sister. I recently went back there with my boyfriend and still loved it. The owners, Richard & Clint, couldn't be nicer. You are so welcomed to this truly magnificiant plantation-style home. Their hospitality far exceeds anything I've ever experienced. We immediately felt like family. Unlike many B&B's that I've stayed in, you will never experience pressure or feel uncomfortable being in someone else's dwelling. — I actually had a deposit left on a room there from 3 years ago when I had to cancel my reservation, because I couldn't find a babysitter, and they still had the deposit on file and I was able to use it. — Belle Oaks Inn was built in 1912 and it's been transformed into a modern tribute to the Southern charm and grace of a bygone era. All of the guest rooms are very comfortable and exquisitely decorated with a...

Kloesel's Steakhouse & Bar is located in the small town of Moulton, TX. I've lived in Texas for 30 years and I didn't know we had a town called Moulton! We recently stayed at a B&B (Belle Oaks Inn) in Gonzales, TX for a weekend getaway and the owners (Richard & Clint) of the B&B referred us to this "fabulous" steakhouse nearby. We took their advice and had one of the best steak dinners we've ever had! Kloesel's is located at the site of the old Moore Hotel (where you can stay overnight) and they offer dining in a historic setting. — Kloesel's is the perfect place to enjoy an incredible steak!! They serve only premium cuts of choice aged beef, which Harvey personally selects, cuts, trims and cooks to perfection. They also serve a variety of pastas, seafood and chicken dishes. You'll see Harvey come out and greet his diner's to make sure you are enjoying your food. The wait-staff was very efficient and courteous.
I ran out of my MaybellineInstant Age Rewind Concealor and I couldn't find a replacement any where. I really like this stuff and have received several compliments. It looks like its been replaced by Maybelle Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector. Ahhhh, something new to try. This is a dual product in a tube with wands at each end. One part is Concealor - to cover imperfections and the other part is a Highlighter - to brighten under-eyes (or wherever you want to glow). I loved the original concealor and used it mainly under the eyes - just to make them stand out even more. Now, there's a highlighter for this sort of thing. Interesting...I'm listening. I typically use a white eyeshadow for highlighting and that works wonders (under eyes, down the center of the nose works great!). — Concealor facts: —...

Athena Glass Jewelry ....jewelry created for a goddess! — Over the weekend I attended an art festival in Fayetteville, Texas with my honey. I'm not big into art but I wanted to get out and enjoy some fresh air in the country. I'm so glad that I went. Several vendors brought jewelry. Now, they had my attention! One booth in particular really caught my eye. The colors shining from their displays were so beautiful and vibrant. — I met Susan who was the owner of Athena Glass Jewelry, the booth that really drew me in. Her designs are so unique! The colors are so brilliant and they shift from one color to another when moved. Chameleon like, as she says, the colors seem to match any surface they are touching. — Susan's fused jewelry is created by firing many thin layers of the finest dichroic and art glass together in a kiln. Each little glass component is carefully hand cut and arranged into 2 to 5 layers and fired at...

I'm now 40. I officially have to check the next box when filling out forms, surveys, etc. I cringed for a while. I still do sometimes. Call me vain or whatever you wish but, I'm going to do whatever it takes to make me feel like I'm aging gracefully. I know that aging is a part of life. I understand that part. But, I have a choice....either let myself go or age gracefully. I vow to be in the second category. :-) — I really like Dermalogica products. I believe that its an excellent line of products. To me, it's on the pricey side. Some things I'll pay the extra cost for - it depends on what it is. I received a sample of their new Multivitamin Power Firm (for eyes and lip area). I let it sit on my bathroom counter for a week before I tried it. I hadn't found a good eye cream yet so I was discouraged. I've been told by my salon that I have very fine lines around my eyes - nothing to worry about...

After a long weekend, I ended my Sunday night in one of the best ways....I rented The Ultimate Gift and watched it with my daughter. I wasn't sure what to expect. I honestly have not heard a lot about this movie. This is a movie that we will remember for a long time! — The Ultimate Gift is a best-selling story that keeps giving. — After his extremely wealthy grandfather dies, trust fund "brat" Jason Stevens expects a big inheritance (along with everyone else in his family). Instead, his grandfather gives him a much needed crash course on life and twelve tasks, actually "gifts" - that challege Jason in what seems like impossible ways, sending him on an amazing journey of self-discovery (thank goodness) and forcing him to determine what is really MOST important in life. — This well-done film brings you hope and tears.
I was curious about Dragon Wars so I rented it for the family. What was I thinking??? Well I was expecting awesome effects (as we saw in Transformers). First off, I am not into movies where you have to read sub-titles and this movie has them for the first 20 mins or so. I just don't have the patience for them. It took forever for the movie to really get rolling and when it did, I was embarrassed for the creators because the special effects are very poor. I've recognized some of the faces and am shocked that they'd be associated with such a poorly done movie. From the acting to the special effects - this movie bored me to tears. — I am so thankful that I didn't take them to the movie theater to see this one.

I'm a person with oily skin and Avon Perfect Wear Extralasting Liquid Foundation is one of 2 foundations that I have found that stays on and doesn't cost an arm and a leg! (The other is made by Maxfactor). I use Perfect Wear Extralasting Liquid Foundation most often. This is a lightweight foundation that glides on easily. I love the fact that it's not thick and pancakey. I typically wear a matte-type cream (a.k.a. oil absorber) before I put on my foundation and when I do this I notice that the foundation doesn't glide on as easily. All you have to do in this case is dampen your makeup sponge before putting the foundation on it. I get a nice smooth finish every time. — Perfect Wear Extralasting Liquid Foundation has a built-in primer for smooth, flawless medium-to-full coverage. Sweat-proof, humidity-proof, transfer-proof. 1 fl. oz. — I can say that I live in a very humid climate and this foundation stays on all day long. ...

Bath & Body Works always seem to have Wallflowers on sale. So, I tried one. Then I was sucker enough to buy 3 refills, after I knew the first one didn't really scent up a room. What was I thinking? They're pretty. I guess I was blaming it on the first fragrance (fresh cotton or something like that) - too weak. I'm on my 2nd refill (honeysuckle) and it's weak too. It worked for about a day in my daughters room (10x11) after that, nada.... I've now moved it to the guest bathroom and you have to keep the door shut to even begin to smell it. A huge disappointment to me. (Did I mention that they are not cheap!). I guess that I'll keep it in the bathroom and use all of my refills - and telling the kids to keep the door shut! — For now, I'm going to go back to the Glad Air Freshener w/fan. They seem to be the best so far. —...

I'm a big water drinker but ocassionally I need something different. I had to give up my favorite...Dr. Pepper and I'm not a fan of Diet Dr. Pepper (unless I have too). I tried Diet Pepsi with Lime and I think that its pretty darn good. It doesn't taste much like a diet drink to me - except I do note a "pinch" of an aftertaste. It really does taste close to regular Pepsi. — The only reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is because I wish that I could taste more lime. I love the taste of lime! Hey Pepsi...more lime please! I hear that Diet Coke has a stronger lime taste so I'll try that one next. Although I've never been a Coke fan. — There's no nutritional benefit but here's the facts: PER SERVING - 8 fl oz — Calories - 0, Total Fat (g) - 0, Sodium (mg) - 25mg, Total Carbs (g) - 0, Sugars (g) - 0, Protein (g) - 0, Potassium (mg) - 35mg, Phosphorous (mg) - 29mg — - —...

I picked up a free sample of Clear Total Block SPF 65 at my dermatologist's office. The fact that it was SPF 65 caught my attention and then I noticed that it was non-comedogenic and oil-free /PABA free - a big plus to me! I used the product on my face when I recently spent the entire day canoeing. My face did not burn at all and I only applied it once. Product Facts & Information: — Only Fallene's (the maker of Total Block) products offer total light spectrum protection, with SPF ratings as high as 65.

As I mentioned in my other review of a DHC skincare prodcuct, Matte Cream, I purchased this peel-off mask thinking that I'd peel away some impurities, blackheads, whatever wasn't supposed to be on my skin. — They say "we have lift-off" and they are not kidding. DHC Peel-Off Mask really hurt when I pulled it off. Not to mention that it took forever to get it off. It acted as if it were glued to my face! I actually got scared for a moment. I have been told by a few doctors that I have tough skin so if I say that it hurt, you can pretty much guarantee that I'm not joking. — After cleansing, I applied one thin coat - because this stuff is super thick. When the gel solidifies, you are supposed to carefully peel upward to lift away impurities.
